  1. Need some assistance from the 36 and Raven squadrons. I need the country of residence for each of your roster pilots. This will allow me to show where each of you are from on The Merge. You guys are the only ones left for me to do. Please PM a roster sheet with the country for each pilot if possible.
  2. Stats are now up on the website! Keeping track of team and individual stats. Check out the team and player stats here! Below is a key in order to help you understand what the abbreviations mean. Team Stats PTS - Points MP - Matches Played (a match is a full 3 round series) W - Matches Won D - Matches Drawn L - Matches Lost WR - Win Rate (matches won multiplied by matches played multiplied by 100) RW - Rounds Won (a match consists of 3 rounds) RD - Rounds Drawn RL - Rounds Lost Kills - Total Opponents Killed by Team Deaths - Total Friendly Losses K/D - Kill to Death Ratio (kills divided by deaths) Player Stats Kills - Opponents Killed by Player Losses - Player Deaths K/D - Kill to Death Ratio (kills divided by deaths) Appearances - Number of matches played by player Wins - Matches Won Losses - Matches Lost Win Ratio - Percentage of Wins (wins divided by total matches played multiplied by 100) Draw Ratio - Percentage of Draws (draws divided by total matches played multiplied by 100) Loss Ratio - Percentage of Losses (losses divided by total matches played multiplied by 100) Rating Player - Rating (wins multiplied by 3 plus draws multiplied by 1 plus kills minus deaths)

  4. Good work as always! One thing though. The RotorKA50Dyn sound seems to be too short causing a very noticeable repeat. I think the rotor sounds have to be able to loop seamlessly otherwise you can hear when the sound restarts.

Ive been chatting with some people from the community and have come to the conclusion that we need a multiplayer community skin pack so that squadrons can actually utilize their squadron skins in a multiplayer environment and have others see them. This pack will be free and easy to download just like my mod pack and will work with or without JSGME/OVGME What I need from the community is for squadrons to provide me with the actual skins that they want included. I will NOT be adding one off skins at this time that are NOT associated with a squadron. I will add those in the future, but for the time being I want only squadrons so that we can get that out of the way. When you send the skins to me, please just post them here in the ED forums using some type of file hosting like Google Drive or Dropbox. The skins must work for both red and blue factions so that they work for everyone no matter what side they are on. Looking forward to making this happen and seeing what skins all the squadrons in DCS are rocking!

  12. You mean something like this? It doesn't have everything, but it is compartmentalized if there are certain things you do not want to turn on. Always open to adding things.   13. The sound mod that is being used is Skullz. All the sounds in DCS use loops. If you can find which sound in the files you are hearing that is causing the loop Id be happy to see what I can do to fix it. As for the minigun sounds, look in this file location. DCS World\DCS World OpenBeta\Sounds\Effects\Weapons and find the sounds that you want to increase the volume of. Then navigate to this file location. DCS World\DCS World OpenBeta\sdef\Effects\Weapons and find the same file name. Open the file in notepad and find the gain line. Increase the numeric value that gain is equal to and then load up DCS and test. Repeat the process of increasing the gain until the sound is satisfactory. Ill be happy to change the sounds in the next release and/or help you with the change yourself further. Just let me know.
  14. I dont really use the saved game method myself, but are you putting the mods in the correct DCS directory in the Saved Games folder; i.e. release or open beta? I could see some people getting messed up if they normally play on release but installed open beta as well for the 2.5 update.

  16. What kind of mods are you looking for? modded aircraft or things like sounds and cockpit textures?

  20. For anyone interested here are the stats that will be tracked on The Merge.   21. Schedule has been finalized and can be found on The Merge website that is keeping track of results, player stats, rankings, and much more. We decided this year, due to the number of teams, to split the session into 2 groups; 2 groups of 6. The top 3 teams from each group will advance to a single elimination tournament after the completion of the league in order to determine an undisputed champion. Seeding for the league was determined by using rankings at the end of SATAC 2017. If you did not compete you were given no rank and were seeded at the bottom. For future years we will use the results from the previous years SATAL for seeding. Scheduling was done in regards to ensuring, or attempting, that teams do not play matches too close to one another. There are 1 or 2 examples, however where teams may play 2 matches in a 3 week period, but having couple of these were unavoidable. Without further adieu, check out the schedules here. Please use this website to keep track of schedules and standings while the league is in progress. Live streaming can also be viewed directly on this site when the matches are underway. We will be working to keep this site up to date with player kills, deaths, matches flown, etc throughout the league. MAKE SURE YOU BOOKMARK IT TO STAY UP-TO DATE! Lastly, I need updated high res logos from inSky, Chinese Festival, and the Ravens. Please PM them to me.
  22. Everyone should now have licenses for LotATC in their email that your team leads provided to Teknitinium. Every team gets a single free license courtesy of Dart from LotATC. If you did not receive one, please get in contact with Tek to ensure that we have your proper email.
  23. The assumption you have that most people play online isn't true. Most of the DCS World player base is in the single player realm. Us in the multiplayer space just assume that most of the player community is in the multiplayer arena because that is what we do and how we play, but its not the case. There was poll done late last year or sometime this year that asked what type of game play you take part in in DCS and the majority actually said single player. On the statement of why the servers need to be restarted... That's actually not that uncommon for simulations that have smaller developer bases. ArmA is the same way. It requires server restarts every 3-4 hours which is very similar to DCS. Im not saying what we have is correct, but its not all that uncommon in other games.
