So, I think the sound.lua file in /config is missing some variables. This is how it is currently. And this is how I think it needs to be. I found this while working on my sound mod and wondering why the F-15C, the F-5E, and the M-2000C were not having their external sounds deafened in the pit. I added the variables in and it seems to have fixed the issue. The F-18C one is a bit baffling as I assume it replaces the F-15C on accident. Last questions and its somewhat related. Why is the MiG21 not in here? Should it be? The MiG21 is the last module that I am having issues with extremely loud sounds in the pit, but I can't figure out how Magnitude is deafening audio in the pit.

No problem. Glad you got it working!
-
That's the idea. The roster is simply a best guess. You, as a squadron, are not confined to only running the names on the list that you put forward.
-
How long ago since you re-downloaded the files? Have you tried disabling the HUD portion of my mod? Screenshots would be fantastic, but my bet is that its these folders. Try and delete them or move them out of my mod pack, re-load it, and see if it fixes the issue. Moltar's Mod - HUD\Mods\aircraft\Ka-50\Cockpit

MISSION & WEATHER* - Up-to 5 mission locations will be available with random weather. - Missions will be similar to the one used in SATAC 2017, but with varying locations. - Mission and weather will be randomly selected immediately before each match. - Mission and weather chosen will be used for each round of that match. *Note: Tournament rules, weapons and missions are subject to change REGISTRATION Each team’s contact person must PM Teknetinium on the ED forums his or hers contact details (email or phone #) in order to fulfill registration requirements. This list is not concrete. You are allowed to fly with different pilots for each match. This list simply provides 51st with an estimate for pilot and teams numbers. Teamspeak or Discord will be needed this year in order for organizers to have the ability to reach teams if necessary. Names and airframes are not binding. It simply provides us with an approximation of numbers and serves as an introduction to other squads and the DCS community. Example: Squadron Name: 51st PVO Teamspeak/Discord: 96.43.128.170 Contact person: Teknetinium Aircraft Selection. 6*Su-27 Pilot Roster: Frostie (+1 Zulu) Su27 Teknetinium (+2 Zulu) Su27 etc.

Didn't know that was a problem. Ive removed what should be the problemed files and uploaded a new version. If you want to use the HUD stuff give the new upload a try.
-
Would be this file... \Mods\aircraft\A-10C\Cockpit\Textures However, just a heads up. Im currently uploading a new version of the mod that contains changes to the A10C sounds and puts this file in its own separate folder for JSGME or OVGME. Makes it easy to just not enable it. Ive also added quiet Betty to its own folder as well for those that don't want it.

Mod has been updated to version 12. This iteration includes separated parts of the mod to ease the ability of turning certain parts on and off like the countermeasures and HUDs. Check the OP for the download link.

I actually completely forgot that that was there. I run a custom setup because I fly on manual dispense as Ive had issues with semi-auto and auto. How does the MiG 21 handle sound from the exterior environment into the interior cockpit. The other modules that I have worked with have all been able to use the default sound.lua file located in the /config folder. I have been unable to determine how the MiG 21 is doing the equivalent. Any help would be hugely helpful!

You're welcome! Let me know if there is anything else you need help with or seems wrong.

Moltar's Mod Pack aims to provide a one stop shop for players and simmers looking for a more immersive experience in DCS. The pack includes, terrain and cockpit texture updates as well as a full overhaul to the DCS sounds. All mods that are included have been edited so that there are no conflicting files. Mods included in my pack can be found below. Mods included in Moltar's Mod Pack Here are some in-game examples of what parts of the sound portion of the mod sounds like. I am no wizard with the camera, but hopefully this gives you some sense of what you're getting into. The sounds shown are NOT the only sounds modified. This is only a small test of the overall changes. (WARNING - These videos are loud!) Everything in this mod pack that has come from another author has been credited in the Hoggit link. There is also a lot of stuff that has come from me directly, but I didn't feel the need to list that stuff. This version of the mod, I feel, is the closest so far that I have been able to get to real life for several of the jets and weapons. There is still a long way to go, but we have made some significant headway. Be aware though, this mod is EXTREMELY LOUD! My goal in this pack is to make the soundscape in this game as true to life as possible. We all know how loud jets and helicopters are in real life. I've aimed to recreate that. Set your volume accordingly. This mod pack is broken up into sections. This modularity allows for users to enable or disable features at will. Cockpit - Cockpit liveries for several aircraft. Some are enabled by default, but many need to be enabled in the Special menu in the DCS World options. HUD - Modifications to make HUDs more realistic and also contains the black HUD mod. Sound - My sound mod that encompass the best of the best from around the net along with many changes by yours truly. Map - Mustang's Map Textures (Caucuses) - Mustang's custom textures and noise files for the Caucuses map. (DO NOT USE THIS WITH STARYWAY'S CAUCUSES TEXTURES - USE ONE OR THE OTHER) Map - Mustang's Map Textures (Persian Gulf) - Mustang's custom noise files for the Persian Gulf map. Map - Starways Map Textures - (Caucuses) - Starway's custom textures and noise files for the Caucuses map. (DO NOT USE THIS WITH MUSTANG'S CAUCUSES TEXTURES - USE ONE OR THE OTHER) Extra - A10C Colored Windshields - Changes the left and right front windshields in the A10C to a gold color that is true to life. Extra - A10C Countermeasures Profiles - A custom countermeasures profile for the A10C. This is mainly to be used with manual settings enabled. Extra - Quiet Betty - Lowers the volume of Bitching Betty. Finally, if you have any issues or suggestions, please, please let me know. I am always open for feedback on this pack. Its hard for me to find and fix everything and its difficult sometimes to get things to real life as my ear is not perfect. This mod pack should pass IC 100%. If you run into any issues with IC please let me know and we can get it fixed Discord If you have not already, join me on Discord. I am a member of Splash One Gaming and provide updates to my mod pack there. There are constant updates, usually weekly, but sometimes daily, to my pack. S1G is also a great place to just hang out and talk aviation. Again, if you have not already joined, come check us out. Splash One Gaming Discord OVGME If you are not using a mod manager at this time you should be. I currently use OVGME and it works wonders. Information for OVGME is below. Integrity Check Fail - Does DCS has a serious problem?
M0ltar replied to Spanker79's topic in Multiplayer
Delete them as they come up and repair each time. IC does not show all the files all the time. It makes it even more difficult when you can actually get into a server thats running IC and then you get kicked when someone loads an asset that you have a file for that does not pass. Again, delete the files that fail and repair each time and then try again. Continue the process until you pass each time. -

What file is it listing in the IC failure window? Click the red shield at the top and it will list what failed. -
Can you define what you mean by 'add more'? You can change the sounds that are used, sure. However, adding more sounds for different parts of the aircraft that currently do not exist may not be possible.
