  1. All stats and replays have been added and updated to their perspective matches on The Merge.
  2. There are a couple for the red team that can, but I dont think that helps blue. Is blue having issues finding a GCI?
  3. I am ready for this! Will you post in this thread when you release it? Id assume you wont release it until the MFD export for the Hornet is out.
  4. Capt Zeen, does this profile work without sensor exports being on? I love Helios, but its a pain to use it in MP as most servers do NOT allow sensor exports.
  5. New version of my mod has been uploaded to the server and is ready to be pulled down. All modules are at 1.5.1 with the exception of sounds which is 1.5.6. You can download using OvGME directly or your browser. Really the only thing that has been updated is a change to some cockpit glass in a couple of the pit mods and sounds. Direct Download Link Instructions for Downloading Using OvGME Sounds have had a decent overhaul, especially externally. Its not quite as loud anymore, but I feel it is way more accurate. This is thanks in large part to Hubson on the ED forums. His F15 Sound Mod has reshaped external sounds for most aircraft. I have also modified the FA-18 engine and afterburner sounds as I felt they were way way to quiet. However, the majority of the FA-18 sounds are really well done so they were left untouched. As usual, please let me know if there are any issues, bugs, or if something just does not seem right.
  6. There were a couple issues. First off my streaming software kept killing the stream after a few minutes. This was identified, after searching, as a bug with the latest update of that software. The second issue, and more pressing problem, was with the mission. For whatever reason the mission would not allow mirages to take fuel tanks. After repeated attempts at fixing it it was deemed that a delay until next week would be necessary as to not keep the teams waiting around. Therefore, this week's match has been postponed until next weekend, June 9th, at 1600z. This means there will be 2 mat he's next weekend. I know it was a paint today and I must appologize to the teams and the viewers as it's really not acceptable. We will be working this week to get the issues corrected and I we will see you next weekend at 1300z.
  7. Any idea when it will be ready?
  8. It does and has always for me.
  9. My ears are ready!
  10. Here is an updated link to the discord for planning that will not expire. https://discord.gg/TJzYb7u
  11. I don't think it's your communication at all, but more of what ED has said they will do in the past and then changing direction. IIRC, Wags, or another ED spokesperson, said that ED would not be doing any further FC3 level aircraft moving forward and yet here we are. Now, FC3, or in this case FC4, level aircraft are not a bad thing. I for one love FC3. A lot of the modules are a ton of fun to fly and are really the only way to get the A2A fix. Yes, I know the M2000C exists, I just never liked it all that much. However, I think it is the direction that ED is taking this that is pushing people the wrong way. When FC4 was announced there was a lot of speculation and hype about what aircraft could be included. We thought, given how Russia has responded in the past with desires to make full fidelity modules of their aircraft, that FC4 would be the perfect fit to expand the dismally small Redfor selection. I get that this was just speculation, but a lot of people, myself included, thought and still think that this would be the perfect time to expand the availability of aircraft to fly. I get why ED is doing what they're doing. I get that there are a lot of people out there that are not vocal on the forums, that do not post on Hoggit, are not part of any DCS Discords. I get that a large part of the player base for DCS is single player. But again, why the choice to create FC3 level modules of already existing full fidelity modules if not to reduce costs and get products out more quickly? Would it not be a better choice to both increase the number of a available 'simple' modules for new players or people that don't want all the buttons by creating new aircraft modules instead of ones that already exist? That way you not only sell to the 'new' guys, but you also capture the existing DCS market by giving them something they want and will use instead of something that a lot of people already have. Frostie said it earlier about the push from LO to FC1, FC2, to FC3. In each jump something was given to the players to facilitate the jump needed to maintain the use of their already purchased modules. In the past it was things like maps etc. However, with FC4 it seems like its going to be modules a lot of the community will already own. Again, I get it. I get that the people that vocalize their thoughts here are not the majority of the player base, but it still sucks that instead of expanding the module base and giving the community more options to fly, ED is catering to the new guy. Again, expanding the player base, I get it, but what was wrong with the existing FC3 line up to get new players started? Why did it have to be existing modules that get the FC3 treatment instead of something new? I mean look at the 29? It still does not have a PFM. Why are we moving on to other FC endeavors when the current FC3 is not even complete yet? This is what, in my opinion, really irks people about how ED does things and that is that things get promised, 29 PFM, missile guidance and drag, damage model, etc, and then we never hear anything about them again. But instead we get movement on to new projects with announcements and chatter from the devs. Now, ED could be working on the 29 PFM, missiles, and so on and it could be close to done, but the community will never know because it is never vocalized. Instead we hear about new projects and things that seemingly will take away from the things that really need attention in the sim. I love DCS. I love what ED have given us and I don't want any of what I am saying to come off the wrong way. I am simply trying to vocalize what I have heard from several sources about this announcement. I want DCS to succeed and I saw ED getting on the right track with all of the communication that was being done with the Hornet and PG. I want that communication to continue and hopefully it does moving forward.
  12. Still cant figure out what is going on with the slow movers. Its like the distant sounds are just over powering it. Do you have any time to help me troubleshoot whats going on?
  13. Stats are up for the 51st vs IRIAF match on The Merge. http://splashonegaming.com/event/1839/
  14. What annoying jet sounds did you remove? My issue may be the enginejet sound that is being used as a parent for the jet sound for the a10c. I'll keep looking at it.
  15. Did what you said and it works great! Side note. I cannot get the a10 to sound how it does in your mod demo. During flybys using F3 you cant hear the engines at all.
  16. Hubson, man, the mod sounds awesome! Great work! I have 2 questions though. 1) Can I include this in my mod pack with your credit of course? 2) Is there a reason why the afterburner sounds are so quiet? On take off there is really no audible change from mil power to gate and know from experiences that gate is way way louder. Is there a way to increase it?
  17. During today's match there was an issue with 51st using different air frames between rounds 1 and 2 with 51st winning both rounds. The first issue is that there is no definitive rule written in the rules set that states what happens when this occurs. The other issue is that the opposing team left after the second round was won and concluded. Due to this, it was/is very difficult to determine what to do. Not wanting this to happen again, in all future matches teams will be required to stay available until the completion of all rounds and the team captains have stated that the match has concluded and no further rounds are needed. Furthermore, the rules going forward for payload violations and aircraft violations will be a loss for the round where the infractions took place. If either team, for whatever reason is unable to continue for any reason the team that is unable to continue will be given the round loss instead. This new rule will be added to the OP. Again, 51st apologizes for the issues in today's match and will work to make sure that this is not an issue going forward.
  18. Event will more than likely be run on the beta client Targets and defenses will be disclosed and/or discussed after signups are complete. You will have ample time to plan.
  19. OP updated. Signups close June 1st.

  21. I think it was a bug I was battling yesterday. Should be fixed now.
  22. My ears are ready! Also, I know a decent amount of the community would love to hear about your mod stuff over on the Splash One Gaming discord. Have a mod section that a lot of people frequent. https://discord.gg/cJteKm
  23. Some news! I have changed some things on The Merge site. The things that I have changed pertain mainly to the events section. Going forward each matches stream, along with the Tacviews when available, will be linked to each event/match. This should help with archives and people wanting to go back and review past matches. An example of this can be seen from the last match. You can also see that map location, weather, and MVP have also been added. http://splashonegaming.com/event/1838/ I will also be working on creating a timeline for each match that outlines the kills and deaths that took place with timestamps. Im still working on how to do this, but expect it soon. The other thing that I want to put forward is that I would really like to change the times of matches and move them all back 1 hour. This would mean that instead of starting at 1300z we would start at 1400z. The reason behind this is to allow stream viewers, particularly on the West coast of the US a later time for stream start. If you have any qualms or issues with this or even if you really want me to change the times please let me know and I will take it into consideration. I will be sure to let you know if and when this goes into effect. So, for the time being, please assume that all current matches will start at the current time of 1300z until further notice.
  24. The issue with that is that the sounds are shared among all aircraft. There is not much that Hubson can do to remedy this if you want the jets to be loud and sound right. I really wish ED would omit certain aircraft like the props and the A10 from the distant jet sounds as their engines just dont fit with the fast movers. Hubson, any idea when this is going to come out? I really want it and it sounds awesome.
  25. Mission location is Maykop vs Vody and weather is broken clouds with some light winds.
