  4. In fact, I have the internal reason and I am working on a workaround... Sometimes, disconnect then reconnect is ok, but it is annoying if you do not know if you have really all the picture or not :/ I am doing my best to fix it ASAP :)

  6. That is, I will bring favorites in next releases (on my long todo list :) ) In server just use an IP, or as Dejjvid said a server name (as in DCS in fact). For a local server use localhost or 127.0.0.1 ip, it must work. In some cases, localhost can be blocked by your firewall!

Back from our squad LAN ( http://www.3rd-wing.net ) : 4 days 32 pilots 8 missions of 3~4 hours each Some mission with more than 650 moving units 2~3 LotAtc controllers each time 2~3 Combined Arms slots DCS 1.2.8 Some DCS (minor) bugs but it works very well! Thanks ED for the network stabilisation since our last LAN (on 1.2.6)! It is very great! No server crash! (only some clients one) We will post some bug reports here in next days. :book:
  8. I confirm, this is 2 seconds. It is balanced for correct refresh and best server performances. You can play with this parameter, but it is not guarantee to have good performances with less than 2s :)
  9. It is almost done :D I will certainly changes a little my roadmap to release this feature soon (before 1.0.0 ) ;)
  10. Yes, I don't how we could make this 4-days LAN if we cannot play for more than 1 hour... I think we will start by reinstalling +30 PC in 1.2.7 tomorrow evening.... :doh::huh: @BadCrc do not forget your 1.2.7 installers... I will bring back older LotAtc release...

  14. After some hours spent to find a solution, I was able to fix it, so I will generate a 0.9.1-3 with a fix for 1.2.8 ASAP :)
  15. FYI, LotAtc options cannot be no more retrieved from LotAtc server in OpenBeta 1.2.8RC2, so it is no more compatible... I hope to find a solution to fix it before 1.2.8 release but is is tricky...:(
  16. I have released a compatibility version (0.9.1-2) for DCS > 1.2.8 (currently the OpenBeta). No more features but fix for LotAtc options in DCS menu. See there for more info: http://lotatc.dartsite.org/news/37 In parallel, lot of work for 1.0.0, it takes me lot of time, but lot of new features inside, stay tuned ;) Client is the same for 0.9.1-1 and -2 and are compatible.

  19. Nice! thx :thumbup: :D Some additional things on correct Azrayen response (Thx to him) :) My aim with the 0.x release was to build a light server with low resources need, great stability. The 0.9.1 is very optimized to use a few resources, but keep in mind that there is a lot of things to do for him: tracked all planes/vehicle/ship/helicopter on DCS (creation,destruction,player change...) construct the radar area for 2 coalitions separately by find all radars, and for each unit, found which radar can see it by managing speed, altitude, relief managed client connection with authentication, communication for updates and so on Note that the server use less resources with arcade profile, because we see all units, and more resources with realist one (relief, real radar envelop). Using 2 coalitions take 2 more times than only 1. If no clients connected, no filtering is made, so only tracking. As far I know, nobody came to me yet with a performance issue (like take too much memory or too much CPU) but if there is, let me know, I do my best to be the lowest consumer of server resources :) For bugs, the only bugs that could happens is on bad exit of clients, DCS crash and the 0.9.1 has a lot of fixes for that (compared to the 0.9.0). But as already knows, software with no bugs is not a software :) As for performance, do not hesitate to send me the logs and what happen, I try to do my best to fix them all! I have lot of contact with some members on this forum that help me to find any problems or send me suggestion to enhance LotAtc!
  20. LotAtc does not use standard lua export and works if export is false ;) So it can run on server without export :)
  21. I am not worried :) I know how many hours ours projects took and sometimes, a pause is welcome. Tars will be integrated when it be ready :)
  22. For TARS, I am waiting the SDK from Headspace, but it has been delayed by him (see http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1992019&postcount=1186). Once it was available, I could add it into LotAtc :)

  24. I have planned to add a "Custom" mode to let users to choose themselves the different options in a future release. So, everyone could choose the behaviour they want. It is sometimes complex for me to choose between the IRL and the simulation behaviours in LotAtc. I understand the GGTharos point of view even if I took another decision for 0.9.x. I hope that the future custom mode could satisfy everyone :)
