Did you alt-enter to maximize the DCS screen?

How are the graphics better? A little detail here would be nice. Especially since no one else has given a good comparison in DCS.

But just think of it. You could've had your hands on this baby a year ago if they offered a pre-order. :)

I just ran a quick start (cold start) mission in NTTR and observed that the minute arm (skinny arm without the arrow) is indeed moving. So for me (latest beta) it seems to be working fine. Just to be clear, all I did was to start the mission and observe the clock. Maybe it stops working after flying for a while which could be your case.

Actually the way I read the specs is that I'll get 1280x1440 (vs 1080x1200 on current Rift) , no SDE and not have to upgrade my 1070 to make it work.

For what it's worth, I did get the "Hey what are you doing" message when I started taxing with air and ground power still connected. I was in NTTR in the cold start instant mission. I did unhook them after the warning. Never thought of flying around with them still attached. :) I'll verify it again when I get home tonight and let you know. Confirm that I get the warning.

I think it's very cool that they are doing this.

Easy mode: Alt+Z (slow down time) This really helped me get better at AAR What I do is as I line up behind the basket and then slow down time and drive into the basket. After doing this for about 10 times it made it much easier to do it in normal time.

Try unplugging the connector to the stick unit and reconnecting it while powered. That seems to work for me. I have the x52.

I have my two sensors on either side of my monitor about 3' apart from each other and have had no problems at all.

This is what I have with latest Open Beta version This is what I have for F-18 training missions which appear to match what's out there on YouTube. I have the latest OpenBeta installed. If you don't have the same then you probably have installed the Stable version of DCS. Check your version in the lower right corner of the DCS main page.

Might as well pull some and see what happens :)

From update notes; Known Issues Due the technical issues the cockpits of MiG-21bis and SA342 are temporary disabled in this build. Maybe that's the issue.

+1 Holbeach. This is what I did to get the pinkie working.

Nothing officially announced so it's anybody's guess. Based on the state of the early access I would not expect it in the near future (two weeks). That's just my guess. But the early access provides a lot of functionality and fun.

Final release is not out yet. Still in early access in both beta and stable release. So nothing missing.
