Well in addition to what jay already listed: Its your Profilpicture Way more integrated Pilot regarding Ground combat (requires some time to get there) The Hornet has more weapons but the A10 takes more into combat One A-10 can take out more targets than the F/A-18 It’s just another experience than the Hornet in general You can limp back after taking hits or rather this occurs more often and you are more capable than the Hornet regarding that apart from that there are sure a lot of different reasons but what makes the A-10 special to me is that I’m really integrated into the ground combat and I am a participant for a good while thanks to fuel and armament… Flying ist just different, so that’s a pure subjective thing but consider many people love it! May some other from the community can add their 5 cents too…

That’s not a A10 exclusive problem. I had it in the AH-64 too. Guess maybe more a Syria or engine problem.

Did you fly straight for a brief period of time? If so maybe your alignment degraded? (Not quiet shure if the 38 have this too) the gyros need movement before use otherwise they claim to be degraded because the gyros in the weapons don’t give a signal (because the isn’t any to give)… A common problem with the guided CBU.

The thing here is: the Apache was capable of being modified to do so if a user of the Apache wishes so. Spoiler, no one wanted to do it, so it was never operational and the software never learned something like the AGM-65 exists. Despite that we get a „suite“ of the Apache. That’s why we don’t have the ATAS for example…

I make it quick: TSD -> RTE -> RTM When inverting the route without selecting the route (for ex. Alpha) the Apache will invert the route but will not change the order. So when i click on the last waypoint in the list by name it selects the first and other way around. If I "Box" the Route before it will change the order too (If the order is already wrong way around it will keep it that way until the route is inverted again w/o selecting ["Boxing"] a route first)

This regards the real plane with real physics but since this game is code based it’s not that easy for ED. Reality does hurt but maybe you can convince some mod maker

Very Unlikely due to the statement that after the the Radio the A-10 will not receive any more Features specific to it. And, as always, we need to have this Weapon system in DCS first at all... I would love to spam those but unfortunately it seems kinda far away not to say we´ll never see them..

Caldera it seems you misunderstood something: the D/G aren’t better at night but the H/K are just worse caused by obvious reasons. The FLIR sensors are pretty old and during the time of their introduction to today much happend! and btw can it be that your targets are quiet cold? I mean clearly you will have problems seeking cold targets. Since the update of the FLIR it’s not the Allrounder anymore…

To me it seems like the BTR took the other AGM out with its own explosions.

I don't have much experience myself with this but as far as I know each unit can łase. You need to enter the jtac mode when controlling the unit of choice. Are you sure you followed the protocol correct during your attack?

I never specified which version i´d prefer. Honestly if i could choose, i would choose each variant :D. I like the idea of a raw aircraft as well as i like the idea of a Late "A" model as an in between version. Im pretty shure i wont get any of those but since everyone here is dreaming i thought i tell here my two cents. With that beeing said i will absolutely take a look on that. But this is just void filler. As far as i understand it, i cant use this mod on public servers but just on servers that support this mod which limits its use. (Not shure about that one)

I think it would make a great addition to DCS because: 1. Cold-War era is rising and the "C" or even "C II" isnt really fitting in. 2. It would be a "Back to the roots" Version. When setting up the Pavepenny-Pod was a thing and the Maverick was essential for Situational Awareness.

Therefor we need this Weapon in DCS First.. Maybe if they integrate them in DCS we will receive them for the A-10 as well. But i think that many many other projects are more important in the moment than those...
