RTX 3xxx series is going to be announce in September first i would wait and see before buying a new video card. in general NVIDIA xx70 can do VR decently well you rely want a xx80 or xx80ti if you can save up for it. yes for VR the difference between a xx70 and xx80 is noticeable, not very noticeable for 1080p flat screen gaming do you have a VR head set or still shopping for one?

hmm that could be useful yep those mission are no more completed than you go take out that sam then you bomb that thing and you make sure the the bad guy jets dont kill your jets add some coordination and timing to make sure SEAD goes in first or just before the strike and the CAP dose not burn all there fuel before the other guys are ready or fly over an SA-11 do to target fixation i know what you mean a year ago some one ask me to help them with their pattern work in the A10C a 30-45 min tops the guy had no head tracking, did not know how to set up his HSI yard stick, could not fly level with out autopilot, had no way to quickly trim the jet, had zero clue about 3 deg glide slope, or on speed flying im like FML what did i get my self into 2hr later he can now land straight in

i was thinking more along the lines of your old PC the one you replaced a 5 years ago when the new hotness video card and CPU got released. it dose not need to top of the line or super powerful just be able to run DCS a lap top might work. i know some one who runs a popular DCS sever on a laptop in there house. it not going to cost any thing to try to see if it works if you got some other PC in the house. you will need a second acount but they are Free dont need to buy any modules, maybe the maps, but you can test it out the Caucasus map for free to see if it works

i would first recheck your control bindings make sure everything is bound the way you like them and DCS did not bind some other controls to some random axis. the test the peddles in windows Game Controllers panel

i would try to set up a second or spear PC to record the plat cam make your mission multiplayer with slots for only you and an observer or game master slot, on the multiplayer screen start new sever and PW protect it so no one else can log in. this would have your main PC that your playing DCS on the sever and have you other PC connect to your mission and get to the plat cam view and record with something like OBS

what is wrong with the tools we have now to make a briefing? you could all ways photo shop or use MS paint to add your captions to your image before adding them to the briefing. you just need to put in the effort to make a good briefing if you looking for some help might i recommend https://www.combatflite.com/ you can get some good briefing and kneeboars out if it too bad it dose not get updated very often since basically a mission editor with some awesome extra functionality

off the top of my head the old CH sticks use venerable resistors also called Pots as there sensor the work fine for a time but the are a piece of metal sliding and rubbing agents another piece of metal or carbon and do wear out or corrode over time and send faulty readings. the X56 uses hall-effect sensors so no sensor parts rubbing agents each other to wear out and as for the X56 i had an X55 and ended up getting a warthog for the price im seeing the X56 i would of recommended you saved up a bit more money and get a warthog instead but they are sold out at the normal retailers and on available form the ebay scalpers ATM for like $1000 it should be about $450 for a warthog

you also have to train your self on now to talk to voice attack it is still using the windows speech recognition. try playing the keywords you are having trouble with in word text to speech look in Review tab Read aloud and try specking like that to voice attack yes you are going to sound like a robot

after look at your track file i saw that your control input is not centered for Balt or Ralt to engage the stick need to be centered you physical stick on you desk may be centered but the data received by DCS is not depending no your stick you can try to recalibrate it adjust spring or something to make it center better or add a small dead zone to your curves

LTD/R switch to ARM (it should stay latch now) 5. open FLIR page on DDI or AMPCD of choice 6. set desired laser code - the code on your pod has to match the code on the weapon your buddy is using - the pod has two places to punch in a laser code LTDC to set the code you Tpod will fire and LSTC the code you Tpod will look for use LTDC - Press UFC on FLIR page - Press LTDC on UFC make sure you see the Colon ( : ) next to LTDC - type in desired code - press enter 7. on the top right of the FLIR page you should now see the Trigger option pop up select it 8. find you target 9. press and HOLD your trigger to fire you laser you need to hold down the trigger to keep the laser on until weapon impact

what do you mean "firing mavericks at targets that are not visible" you need to be able to see it in the MAV display to shot it

i have be having this issue repeatedly happens to me (4 times in the last week) when playing on multiplayer ill spawn in as an F18 and another player spawns in as an F14 next to me my plane shakes for a but and about 15sec later my wing may or may not be ripped off i have attached 2 track files one where my wing gets ripped and one where it dose not https://drive.google.com/file/d/11th-g66KUJ2SYJgkc24pVM85Z_iRAagL/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lxZxZBprskduQctD-ixws3VIVHuvtnHu/view?usp=sharing video of the event where my wings gets ripped off video of where my wings did not get ripped off from what i can observe is multiplayer the carrier dose not follow the spawn logic in the manual i was the only one on the carrier and spawned in spot #5 for the top diagram the F14 spawned in what looks like spot #6 for the F18 or maby its trying to place him on spot #5 on the bottom diagram for the F14 sized aircraft, the spawn order seems to be slots #5,6,7,8 from the top diagram then on the cats regardless of air craft size from what i observe spawning in on multiplayer is if an F18 spawns next to my F18 there are no problems. if a F14 spawns next to me it most likely rip my wings off both these instances where played on the same sever same mission both the F18(me) and the F14 the same players about 15min apart the the only deference i noticed is in the instance my wing got ripped off i was in a rearm sequence and after rearm was complete my wing exploded with no visible contract between jets

i thing its covid-19 supply chain problems and all normal retailers are sold out. the $1200 ones are all small time sellers that are price gauging ATM they are buying up the $450 that pop up and flipping them for $1200. best thing you can do right now is not buy these until trust master restocks to discourage this scum bag behavior

this was a thing back when DCS only had the A10C and black shark as the only full fidelity modules you could get a lock and nose up before launch to get the MAV loft to make the kill but that has since been Nerfed you can still get a lock but odd of getting a hit is not good it will not loft at all now

not exactly that but some thing related if you look at the manual pg 83-89 talks about this looks like the mission maker needs to adjust things the problem i get is if joining a multiplayer sever ill spawn in as a F-18 and start cold on spot #5 in the left pic (FWD spot on elevator #2) when i lode in there is no one else on the carrier. then if some one else joins in a F14 they will spawn in cold on spot #6 (the spot right just AFT of me on the same elevator) my F18 is shake about and my left wing may or may not be on fire when it settles down. this has to be some type of clipping issue when the relatively big F14 spawns in. the first time this happen to me i saw no visible damage to me and im like that is weird let me finish stating up and get in the air then the F14 driver starts his engines his wings spread and takes off one of my wings :furious: the second time this happened to me the shaking of the F14 spawning in blow a hole in my wing and there was a consent banging coming from my left side i dont see the problem if another F18 spawns next to my F18

the range circle is not displayed in the SA page only the HSI page you cant have the range circle on the SA page because the real live jet dose not do that i dont understand what you mean by no color HSI on the AMPCD ("the bottom") im assuming the map is in the way and making it hard to see the symbols you can adjust the gain to dim the map or just turn the map off see attached video ${1}

have you tried adjusting the gain on the NVG? that should help here is an old vid of mine on a night mission in the beginning you can see me set up the lighting in the jet. sorry for the lower quality YouTube compression ate a lot of video quality

yep i had to do a clean install a few weeks ago. i had too many mods install causing crashes and after the install all i did was place the folder back in and all my binds worked like i never changed a thing. do me mind full if you need to do what i did there will not be a empty folder waiting for you need to make one and rename it exactly as dcs wants and its case sensitive or it will not work
