  1. Huh? To my knowledge they've never refueled, or rearmed, your plane. Care to show some evidence for it having ever worked like this?
  2. Yeah, works again! Thank you so much for this, was a total immersion killer to hear them speak American English
  3. Ever heard of this nifty utility called Google?
  4. What? I took her up for a short while yesterday and didn't notice anything out of ordinary. Or at least the plane still stalls at high enough AoA, no idea if something else is amiss though.
  5. Most WW2 A/C were capable of carrying overweight loadouts, and frequently did. I suggest you read up on it, since you don't seem to know what you're talking about.
  6. Yeah, flew a small P-51 training mission yesterday, where an armored German column is heading South on a highway near Mozdok. Except that they weren't actually heading anywhere, because they'd got stuck on open ground without an obstacle in sight. WTH? Seems busted indeed
  7. So you seem to think my ground units don't move? How odd. Look, I'm not saying anyone did a stellar job. And I'm not saying they screwed it up either. What I'm saying is that it seems to work for ME. Is that somehow impossible to accept? EDIT: I see you deleted your message. Well, here's a reply anyway.
  8. Well, VR guys seem to have it bad. But a sizable contingent of us flatscreen cavemen have it good, and I'm amongst them. Installed the latest NVidia driver, updated DCS, deleted all user-side shaders (fxo etc.) and the sim just BLAZES away now. Colour me surprised and impressed both! And before another wisecrack jumps in: yes, works with AI units as well, not just freeflight.
  9. ...aaaand yes, just did. No change in performance flying a Mustang against numerous ground targets. But again, thank you for your consideration.
  10. That's what they say, but deleting all user-space shaders (fxo etc.), patching DCS and updating the driver to 445.75 actually gave me a marked performance boost. So why not just try it regardless, because you can always roll back?
  11. And your point was?
  12. A hotfix. Just install it.
  13. Well yes, in principle. And then you get cases like this completely fictitious bunch of people, for whom everything is borked, as always. As opposed to the rest 80% of us though, who are still chugging along with various degrees of success... as always. So as a developer, what do you do? What's the common denominator? Some specific HW combos? Some weird use cases, with folks "daring to be different"? Or what? Where and what is your clue? Not defending anyone. Not putting down anyone, either. It just isn't always that easy. And this I know from personal experience, but that's another story.
  14. Absolutely, positively, 100% no clue whatsoever.
  15. Same there, a hotfix, just install it.
  16. Nope, a small hotfix. Just install it.
  17. No, I meant the new DCS version runs much better with the latest driver.
  18. Now, I'm a groundpounder. And ground AI has never given me any grief FPS-wise. So I won't gain anything by flying a combat mission now as opposed to flying it later at my leisure, because I fully expect the AI to chug along just as always. But thanks for your concern anyway.
  19. Count me among those. Haven't flown much lately, but updated my NVidia driver and DCS both yesterday and the sim just absolutely blazes now, at least in free flight. The hell you guys did?!?
  20. And the fuel and ammo amounts were?
  21. Co-pilot seat, back wall.
  22. OK, just pure conjecture then. Fine in itself, albeit of little value as a change driver. But I do agree with you on the Mustang's WEP behaviour regardless, because the thing just CAN'T be that fragile IRL.
  23. OK, thanks for the insights Yo-Yo, especially about the wake turbulence. What you're saying makes sense.
  24. Indeed very true, and an age-old misconception too.
  25. :smilewink: But sarcasm aside, what's your take on it? Could, or should, it be increased somewhat? I'm happy with the way it is, but being curious like the cat that got killed I just have to ask. Some folks with RL Mustang experience have said the rudder is too sensitive and effective. Could that be a contributing factor as well?
