Hey david, I'm willing to do a test for you on my E8500 today...got nothing better to do and would like to check out how far i can push the cpu anyway... Just so you know, i've currently got my E8500 OC'd to 3.4ghz, with stock fan, and I hope to add an OCZ Vendetta 2 in a couple weeks, so I should be able to update the test in this thread! I will try for 4.0, maybe 4.2 down the road. Will post more in a while... Oh, and this thread will be moved to tech section in ...3......2.......1....... p.s. The E8400 is only $25 cheaper, and for the extra 1.6ghz, you definately want the E8500....I regret not spending the extra $90 on the E8600.

I listened to your sounds. dont see much difference from my own, which are also a mix of my own and others... thats why i was curious to ask; what is different....? maybe I'm a little deaf; ...years of working with loud sounds...

inertial navigation unit... needs an accurate coordinate to fix your position... uses your instruments to calculate your new position, such as; change in speed/velocity, horizontal/vertical angles, and time... problem is, over time it is not so accurate, misjudgements of time, angles and such start to have major impact on accuracy. Your INU must be realigned every so often to 'fix'/'cure' your coordinates. Its located on the bottom right-hand panel.

In the config/graphics file there is a screenshot quality value, I set mine to 100, but dont see a difference myself.

I agree, good practice for those pesky emergency situations! I've got the throttles mapped to the large rotary axis on my X52 throttle.(I did this in the BS options, and even though I use a Saitek Profile it all works fine together......as an added bonus, the center detent on the rotary axis is the 'Auto' position!) If i take a hit in one engine, I chop the cut-off valve to that engine, and rotate my rotary CCW which gives me Max throttle on the remaining engine. Since you cannot 'click' on the throttle levers, this is great in an emergency.

Mitch, how do I get the digital camo to work with your skin pack??? As far as I can tell I have everthing in the right spot, is there some trick i do not know?? seriously, you need to convince someone to make ALL your skins into an .exe; they are very good but I cannot make them all work together!! Yeah, line 84 in me_coalitions.lua points me to db_countries.lua; but what lines to i add to db_countries??

I've had bugs and headaches with these skins, Mitch. Maybe you can help sort it out... A couple of the skins seem to be missing the pylons the weapons are mounted on. I dont think I missed anything, but I could be wrong; maybe a texture?? I DL'd your other skin pack from LockonFiles and tried to use it, but now I get this error message, (and sim wont load): ...Ka50\Blackshark\modules\me_coalitions.lua:84:attempt to index field '?' (a nil value) any help out there??

Ha Ha, after reading your topic I went into a flight and messed up my own view... I fixed it by reasaving the center view with Ralt + Num0

Archer, I believe this is the solution you seek... http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=33715&page=19 Very kind gent by the name of wombat wrote a command to make Dual or Quad work without exiting out of the sim. Check out post #189...later on he explains it in further detail (to moi), because some people are thicker than others. It works great, you have to start his program before BS, but thats it....no more alt-tab or cntlaltdlt.

OK, here is a track that shows the Bank, Pitch, and Yaw autopilot channels being turned off while using the skhval and laser designating. Notice the Altitude hold channel remains on. Perhaps this thread belongs in the 'bugs' forum? Ok forget it, apparently the track is too large to upload!!?? How do I make it smaller??

Ok, just saved a track of this happening to me. In a hover; slewing the skvhal, 3 AP channels disengage. Will post when i get home from work.

Before i disengage my wheelbrake and pull collective, I trim with a little forward cyclic. To practice getting the right amount I would leave the wheelbrake on, and trim forward, then pull collective, and if done right... the nosewheel will lift off just before the main gear... Dont know if this is correct, just how i do it. BTW, i use an X52 EDIT. Oh, and darnit Tusler, now I have to change my pic!! lol
