Usually if its not coming for sure, they let us know. So, I assume they are still trying to get it out today. If so, they are not going to come on here and say, we may have it in 52 minutes guys. When they are sure it wont happen today, they will probably say something like: Not going to happen today, guys, we are going to shoot for Friday.

No one has showed up to dash our hopes yet so maybe there is still a chance for the update tomorrow.

Is the new carrier going to have a better wake?

I love my T50 base with 100mm extension but it is now making a squeaking sound in the pitch axis. Best fix? I assume I need to be careful with wd40 or whatever because of the circuit board?

Before I break it, what's the trick to removing the rubber face mask thingy. I can get the outsides unlatched but not the middle. Do I just pull harder? Getting white flashes and black screen also.

No sign of reverbs yet. Wow, did they screw this up.

Any idea on status of this feature. Breaks immersion, especially in VR to look down and see an empty cockpit.

Ok, thanks for the update. This seat, VR and simshaker would be the biggest things to happen to Flight sims for immersion.

I'm pretty sure that HP doesn't have any Reverb stock, nor have ever had any. Probably still waiting for the first batch. They delayed the launch from April 26th to May 8th and then just decided to list the headset so that its "officially launched" but immediately set as "Out of stock", trying to make it look like they sold out in minutes. But, no one anywhere on the internet has said they are able to get any kind of ship date. If they sold out in minutes from HP, Amazon, and Best Buy, someone on one of the discussion groups would have said they snagged one. HP is trying to pull a bit of a fast one. ...which would be fine if they just came out and said, "hey all, sorry, first shipments have been delayed 3 weeks, and we are working diligently to get them shipped. Will continue to update, etc..." Instead, they are having all the websites just say" Hey, they are really popular and sold out quickly! Don't know when we will get more!" That is a complete lie.

Everyone at HP, Best Buy and Amazon has gone radio silent on the reverb concerning the botched release and inventory levels. They wholly underestimated the response to the first release of a "semi-gen2" pc vr headset. They are getting shellacked.

Now HP customer service is saying they were launched today but are already sold out in a couple hours.

Any news on the progress of the new carrier environment? I think its going to be the Roosevelt, yes? Any rough estimate for early access release timing?

hey Cobra, would it also be possible to get some landing gear damage if the decent rate is too high, like if some guy spots the deck and dives for the wires? maybe set to a decent rate of over 1000 fpm or whatever the real numbers are?

The HP customer service people are now saying mid-may launch for pro version and don't know anything about the consumer version. Its a complete kerfuffle over there.

Getting all those coordinated motions with only 3 motors is pure elegance and genius. I will definitely build one if you ever release and sell DIY plans. Its funny, because when you first built the g-seat, i was wondering if it would be possible to integrate motion into the base or something....you read my mind and came up with an even better solution. Just awesome.

I wish they would just release the caucasus upgrades to hold us over until the other maps are done. My group only uses that map now because PG just hammers us on the frames for VR.

Pretty annoying that they said available in Late April.....and it's the 23rd today.....and no word about when we can place an order.
