  1. downgrading to 417.22 drivers to check if the issue persists...
  2. attached are logs. No mods installed, and nvidia drivers up to date (417.35) dcs.log-20181226-124642.zip
  3. same symptoms with my factory overclocked 2080ti (Palit) : stable and open beta hangs with black screen. log shows dx11backend error as well.
  4. MP mission, got straffed on the runway, both canards gone.... i’m sure sure this justifies some wrench action ;)
  5. of course the pilot "manages" his altitude (this is why i posted this thread in the first place), but i find it odd it's limited to 25000 ft, and even more so that it's limited to an elevation for UNI update purposes, and not for current navigation. but so be it, i'll modify the subject... EDIT: I can't edit the subject. @admin: feel free to modify or remove this thread.
  6. When preparing an altitude for a BUT using the PCN, the max altitude you can insert is 25000 ft. So I cannot prepare a point BUT with a higher altitude than that.
  7. my guess is that this one's on ED as i had the same issue last night on the Viggen...
  8. engine shutdown, and canopy open.... the crew did acknowledge the order... just nothing happens.
  9. no track to provide, but it seems i can no longer repair the Viggen subsequently to damages. the request is acknowledged by the ground crew, but no countdown occurs...:(
  10. grabing some pop corn....
  11. IRL my guess is that the missile does not launch. the radar cannot guide a weapon in PSID.
  12. there was a time you needed to specificaly go PSIC before launching, now you don't need to since the radar automatically switches from PSID to PSIC. thanks for the clarification, glad the correct behaviour is the one currently being used by the module.
  13. +1 i'd like the BAP too even if we can get by with the BLG currently
  16. we all agree it isn't a supported configuration, the SNA's logic would be unable to release the weapons at worst, but here the radar is going awol... sometimes using PSID sometimes using PSIC... it's a bug, no doubt about it, and in my opinion, it's related to the automatic switching to PSIC i was mentionning in Zhen's radar lock loss thread
  17. i'm not sure 530+GBU's is a standard configuration IRL in the first place, but it shouldn't induce such a behavious of the radar sometimes refusing PSID and switching directly to PSIC... good catch, even if we shouldn't be in this situation in the first place (jettisoning gbus to use 530s) ;)
  18. this explains exactly what a lot of Mirage drivers tried to express for months: radar loosing locks "randomly" (before being told it was normal, just because of the way doppler effect works !) , this is not a new bug. Another clarification needed is if it is normal that the radar automatically switches to PSIC upon matra 530's usage. it currently goes from PSID to PSIC on its own when you fire, yet the manual states that it's not supposed to be able to track a weapon in PSID mode. (it hints that a 530 can be fired in PSID, which is not possible currently since it switches automatically)
  19. Hi Cobra, can the braking coefficient be double checked ? Are both gears producing the same braking power ? The brakes seem way over powerful (compared to other modules at least) and also unbalanced, inducing a tendency to steer right under braking... Thanks for any info on this !
  20. he's looking for the A/G radar mode for his IMC approach to Orange Airbase... :music_whistling:
  21. You simply are the best 3rd party team out there... well done on the ground radar, and for all these features you keep adding to our Viggen. I've already purchased the F-14 as i am positive it will be a breakthru module in DCS... thanks Cobra...
  22. yep, you really have to dance on the differential brakes to maintain the plane inline when braking hard... fun... dunno if it's realistic, but it's challenging to make short landings now
  23. Merci Zan ! magnifique zinc... :)
