Had the issue. Make sure the JTAC's com is set to AM, and that his frequency is in the 200 Mhz range

Had the exact same type of errors and crashes until I disabled the XMP profile assigned to my RAM Are you using XMP to boost your RAM ?

For what its worth i’d been pulling my hair out with dcs crashes to desktop, logs showing random errors, along with windows suddenly throwing bsods out of the blue, with various reasons (mainly power management) All of this crap stopped when i removed the automatic memory XMP profile in my msi mobo’s bios. None of the logs pointed to ram, yet Windows AND dcs are now stable... go figure...

And we go straight thru the KC135’ s basket, so useless. Haven’t even had the will to check if the in flight refuel is fixed or not...

Great.... if only the external tanks were able to be filled up... ;)

Thanks David. Crashes happen at random on 2.5.1, flying the M-2000C I play mostly SP Clean and repair done. Removed add ons (Tacview... reinstalled since it made no differences in crashes) FXO folder, Shader cache deleted. Tried re-creating the saved games profile as well.

This course is currently full, but join up, participate to the community’s life, many of us fly the Hog, and you can fly with them on open missions. When thé course reopens apply to it, there’s usually room for active members

It sounds like the Mirage would meet your needs then... For the kind of missions we do, the lack of features or bugs are a pain, if you don’t plan on doing long missions, with external tanks air refuel, by night, and proceed to a CCRP run expecting to hit a target, you’re fine... Air/Air work is mostly fine, if you can live with some radar bugs. Flight model is good, don’t expect any failures as they are not modeled

Found 2 more Bugs: 1) if you display BUT points in VTB, then slot to another Mirage, the BUT points still show on VTB in the new plane. 2) If you use the declutter switch, the BUT points no longer display in VTB (which is fine) but if you use the switch again, they don’t reappear. You need to prép/val them again.

The thread is a request on status updates. We got a reply from Razbam: they are working on the module, this reply is perfectly fine by me (thanks Razbam), I then made my post politely asking if this work could be focused in the short term in fixing current issues I listed. How is this not relevant to the op’s thread?

I never was rude once, read again. Devs said work occurs daily on the module, I politely asked if it was possible to get the current issues fixed before getting new features. Then the 2 of you snapped, as you do, and yes, played the forum cops. Nothing else. In fact my post was more constructive than both yours.

And another useless post from cops wannabees... If there was a public inventory of features/Bugs being worked on, as requested by users and promised by devs, the wishlists and complaints would be brought down to a minimum and be uncalled for. In the mean time, face the music, i’m sorry.

Before adding more features, i wish the broken ones are fixed in priority: Unable to air refuel external tanks in some situations (start from cold). A real mission killer for us. Internal lightnening weak AP behaviour; unable to maintain altitude in a turn in altitude hold mode... In-flight INS update wrong (Fly over, and oblique modes) Police light no longer working Unrealistic damage inflicted by S530s to other airframes (may be an ED issue) Thanks for listening and have a great day...
