Yeah massive PITA as I now have the Russian version of BS which I bought from Russia when it was released because it was released in Russia first and couldn't be purchased anywhere else. I also have the English Old version of DCS BS1 which I have updated to The DCS version of BS2 by purchasing the BS2 upgrade from DCS. So now I am supposed to buy it YET AGAIN just to have it available on steam.........really. C'mon DCS get your act together. all we are asking is for you to allow people who have bought the upgrade be allowed to use the steam program. Why not just issue us with new keys we can use on steam? Can't be that hard can it? SD

I got mine on Friday too. Ordered from Saitek uk on Wednesday. Great stick loving it so far. just need to find/create a profile for it. SD

Any chance of re-doing this profile for 1.2.8? The LUA files have change to diff.lua and your files no longer work. I tried renaming them to keyboard.diff.lua but I don't think it worked. Cheers SD

Ive seen a few of these on ebay and was wondering about the build quality myself. They seem pretty cheap, but cheap doesn't always mean rubbish. I would be interested to hear any views on this product too.

I know this is a much discussed topic but I just can't get my head around how to set this up. I have read peterp's post but I just end up confused (information overload) I just cannot get my monitors to line up correctly. I will post a pic of my issue at the end of this post. I am using 3 identical monitors with a resolution of 1920x1080 I am using kegetys softTH at the moment with a view of going matrox TH2GO this is what I get when in the cockpit. As you can see the screen do not line up. Hope some of you knowledgable chaps can help me out. Cheers SD

Hey guys I am Looking to build a simple button box for my flight sims. I want It to be a generic box with maybe two rotaries a couple of switches and some push buttons just for general use (flaps, gear etc). Now the thing is I need this to be as simple as it can be because when it comes to soldering I am a total washout (I can just about manage to hold the soldering iron :) ) and when it comes to electronics the same applies. What I am looking for is some guidance in what equipment (electronics wise)I would need to build such a project and the best way to go about it (explained in dummy terms). I do not want to spent 100's of pounds on it I just want a simple box with some buttons and switches on it. thanks for your time and look forward to any help and advise you can offer. SD

were any other missions in the Vergeev Campaign series made? If I remember correctly this was just the first instalment in a campaign of some 200? missions. I bought the first vergeev instalment but was just curious if things are still moving on? Good to see this is now available would br better if the guys could make a few buck off of it though 'cos it is an excellent campaign. SD

check your desktop shortcut make sure the target field is like the following "X:\Blah Blah\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe" update (or wherever your install is the update at the end forces DCS to check for updates each time the game is started. Hope this helps it worked for me. SD

I use an x52 pro and saitek pro pedals the settings I have found give me the best input and sensitivity is No deadzones on x and y axis but a curve of 21 on each. Collective is set as a slider and rudders again have no deadzone and no curve. So far these are easily the best settings I have found. SD

Loving these reports Chris. I bought the vergeev campaign ages ago for BS2 and flew it for a bit but never got around to finishing it and I havent flown BS2 for a long while. Now I have BS2 in DCS World your reports have rekindled my interest I hav reinstalled the campaign and will start to fly it again. Once I set up all my controls :( Cheers

I am trying to buy CA but it looks like DCS dont want my money lol. I go to the DCS home page and log on then I go to the e-shop, I click add to cart and agree to the EULA and this appears And I cant puchase it. If I click the register link It shows me as being logged on. What gives? Anyone have any thing similar happen? SD
