  1. Axis Tune and tick the Invert box. If you use both levers, then you'll need to invert both
  2. Very helpful thanks. Is the 1-wire such a bad thing due to it being potentially very close to face-planting the back of the carrier?
  3. So, move the throttles to achieve the new speed that you want and press the ATC button again.
  4. So are these instructions, https://forum.voiceattack.com/smf/index.php?topic=2667.0, out of date? They appear to be about a year old.
  5. Is it just VoiceAttack that you want or have the videos you have been watching been about VAICOM Pro? VoiceAttack allows the user to create and/or import bought profiles and VAICOM Pro is one of the bought profiles. It allows the DCS radio comms to be carried out via voice recognition and you need both VoiceAttack and VAICOM Pro to make that work.
  6. It looks like you can change the target speed, by moving the throttle levers, whilst the ATC text, on the HUD, is flashing, but you then need to press the ATC button to re-engage the auto-throttle
  7. From Wags' mission editor video, it would appear that mission creators will need to place the SC, with a heading, speed and a suitable strength headwind, to allow it to to stay on course for as long as the mission needs to, whilst providing good landing conditions for recoveries. There have been a few discussions about automating the SC's heading, so as to make use of the prevailing wind, but that is unlikely to appear in the module, at least not early in Early Access. Of course, that doesn't mean that somebody won't produce a modification that makes this happen.
  8. it looks like the nose wheel is not getting any resistance from the ramp and just sinks into it
  9. Have you seen this FAQ post by @Hollywood_315? https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4311067&postcount=5 There are some of your symptoms covered on there and hopefully the associated solutions will work for you.
  10. "Mystery options" will take you directly to the F10 menu, which will save you having to press F10 yourself.
  11. The next OB patch will be on May 20th, alongside the release of the SC
  12. Coin-flipping time then ;p
  13. LOL, those hand on shoulder moments usually come for me, mid AAR or carrier recovery :)
  14. I'm not a big fan of voice recognition for controls that the pilot should do either and VAICOM Pro(VP), as an addon to VoiceAttack is focused on communications. (You can add other voice activated commands if you wish though.) I tend to fly SP, but i am aware of other VP users do use it in MP and do so alongside SRS, via a specific option in the VP settings. I think that option mainly resolves the potential conflict between VP and SRS over the push to talk buttons. Maybe check out the videos, manuals and FAQs, via https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=198297
  15. Fair enough. As someone who has recently retired, all i have to worry about is the rather odd looks i get from my wife, when i've taken my headset off.
  16. For tankers that use them, the basket doesn't get extended, for me, until I state 'ready pre-contact', so if a basket is out before that, then i assume that is the one that my wingman has been allocated.
  17. Make sure your headset is the output device that you have set in the windows tray. Also that your headset is the default comms device in the windows sound settings
  18. It's been reported already, as is mentioned in the OP
  19. Similarly, it surprises me how many VR pilots don't use something like VAICOM Pro, to handle their radio communications. A press of a Push to Talk button and a few well chosen words is so much easier than messing around in a menu and so much more realistic/immersive.
  20. This appears to be only the 2nd of 2 posts that you have made on the VAICOM forum, the first, a request for help, being very shortly before this one. From experiencing the setting up process myself and seeing more than a few others going through the same process, over the years, i understand that it's not a plug and play process, but it is more than worth the time required to do it properly. However, if you don't want to invest that time, then perhaps it just isn't for you. BTW, the DCS Garmin 430 modules, which you have probably downloaded as part of the free trial, do conflict with VP, so maybe try disabling those before giving up.
  21. Yup, the Phalanx should be pretty easy to code. Just bolt the gun from an A10C into a turret and you're sorted. :)
  22. Is there anything in the VA log that shows any recognition of your spoken words that should trigger the startup command?
  23. Have you got your cheat startup in your VAICOM profile or in another profile? If it's the latter, then you will need to check that the profile that contains it is included in the 'Include Commands from other profiles' list, in the VAICOM PRO profile's options. Edit: although if you don't, it wouldn't work with a hot mic. would it? hmmm
  24. As I said, I use the AUX button for my cheat startup command, so for 2 AUX PTT button commands, in the VAICOM profile, have you got one of the two rows set to when you press the button and the other to when you release the button? If so, do you hear the squelch when you press your mapped AUX button? What does the VA log say?
