  2. Added GRAY option Added ALG option (Automatic Gain and Level control option) the above is an excerpt from the patch notes. I don't have a clue what it does, but at least it looks like it was an intentional change. :)
  3. Whenever you read anything on the internet, the best default position is to keep doubting it until you find solid evidence, from elsewhere, that said information isn't just a wind up
  4. I am fairly certain that the Vaicom SC module will be made live, alongside the SC module's release, as there is already a switch in the VAICOM Pro configuration screen and the SC functionality will require no further download. You will need to buy the licence though.
  5. From your post in the Vaicom thread, back in 2018, it looks like you had an issue with an apparent VoiceAttack version incompatibility. As VA and Vaicom have moved on significantly since then, it is probably not worth trying to solve that issue and if you want to give it another try, the problem will probably not happen again. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=271597 is the recently created FAQ page and it also includes links to the manual and a couple of videos that might be worth watching. Give it another go and post again on the Vaicom sub-forum, if you need any assistance.
  6. Nice one. Looks like you provided a bit of a challenge, but all's good.
  7. I'm mainly a Hornet driver nowadays too, but it looks like Heatblur may be putting the Tomcat on sale again soon, so i may be buying that, along with AIRIO and the SC addon for Vaicom, to complete the set. Edit: I'd rather use voice recognition just for the radio comms, as I find using it for things like gear and flaps is a bit unrealistic, but each to their own. AIRIO is fine, as you are telling another "human" to do stuff, so no loss of realism there.

You can download a very useful mod, by _mul110_, that seamlessly converts JTAC calls into LAT/LONG. You can find it in the user files, at https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3304451/
  9. Check out the Stingers video. VR gets a very good write-up.
  10. Not entirely. A long time ago you had to load a different profile for each aircraft, but since VAICOM Pro, it automatically detects which one you are flying and adjusts accordingly. However, for the F14, there is an optional addon that allows you to replace the need for the radial menu, via which you talk to the RIO. The same will go for the Super Carrier, to allow the new advanced ATC to be handled cleanly. The above two chargeable addons are available at 5.50 euros and 3.50 euros respectively, via https://www.vaicompro.com/, but there are also bundled prices available.
  11. That'll teach you for living in the future :) I reckon it'll be getting on for another day before it drops, so you might want to ease up on the F5 key
  12. I'm fairly sure that is a voiceAttack profile and not a VAICOM pro mod. You can use the two together however.
  13. If you check out the recently opened VAICOM sub-forum, you will be able to ask any questions that you have or maybe find that it has already been asked and answered. https://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=733 As for the SC, an addon has been developed and will be able to be purchased and activated once the SC has been released.
  14. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4311067&postcount=5 Maybe check out the Blinking Menu issue in the linked FAQ page, if you haven't already
  15. Good job \o/\o/\o/
  16. Maybe ask the question here : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89226 I couldn't find anything about the A10C anti-skid button specifically, but it looks like it might be in the right ballpark for a solution. good luck
  17. Also, have you tried "walking the throttles"? If you move just one lever at a time, you can get effectively half of the increase/decrease in thrust that you would get by moving them both together, which provides for far more control, particularly when aerial refuelling/flying in formation. Oh, and i wouldn't use ATC when aerial refueling. The main reason being that you will need to be "tweaking" the thrust constantly, to stay in formation with the tanker.
  18. Axis Tune and tick the Invert box. If you use both levers, then you'll need to invert both
  19. Very helpful thanks. Is the 1-wire such a bad thing due to it being potentially very close to face-planting the back of the carrier?
  20. So, move the throttles to achieve the new speed that you want and press the ATC button again.
  21. So are these instructions, https://forum.voiceattack.com/smf/index.php?topic=2667.0, out of date? They appear to be about a year old.
  22. Is it just VoiceAttack that you want or have the videos you have been watching been about VAICOM Pro? VoiceAttack allows the user to create and/or import bought profiles and VAICOM Pro is one of the bought profiles. It allows the DCS radio comms to be carried out via voice recognition and you need both VoiceAttack and VAICOM Pro to make that work.
  23. It looks like you can change the target speed, by moving the throttle levers, whilst the ATC text, on the HUD, is flashing, but you then need to press the ATC button to re-engage the auto-throttle
  24. From Wags' mission editor video, it would appear that mission creators will need to place the SC, with a heading, speed and a suitable strength headwind, to allow it to to stay on course for as long as the mission needs to, whilst providing good landing conditions for recoveries. There have been a few discussions about automating the SC's heading, so as to make use of the prevailing wind, but that is unlikely to appear in the module, at least not early in Early Access. Of course, that doesn't mean that somebody won't produce a modification that makes this happen.
  25. it looks like the nose wheel is not getting any resistance from the ramp and just sinks into it
