If you have easy comms enabled, it is likely that the comms will pick the nearest ship, which will not necessarily be able to accept recoveries and so sends you to the alternate field. maybe try turning easy comms off just to check that this isn't the reason. Alternatively, i suppose you could fly really close to the carrier, to make sure that it is the nearest, when you call inbound. just for a test that is, as it wouldn't be good to have to do this all of the time to get landing instructions.

If the RELOAD button, on the Editor tab, is highlighted, give that a press. That seems to update the count to match the new number of commands, so it could be that the indexing of the commands relies on that count being correct. I'm not certain, but maybe worth a try????

As a rule of thumb, if the FINISH button is highlighted, it is probably a good idea to press it and follow the instructions.

Make sure that you have done the FINISH steps, as covered in the installation instructions. In short, go to the Editor tab of the config dialogue and you should see a yellow highlighted FINISH button. Press that and then follow the instructions on the pop up.

Can you drag it back, if you change your mind? I'm a little reluctant to try, just in case it isn't possible, but as you've already taken the plunge. :)

You need to not drink so much shandy :) Maybe try adding the whole phrase "see you at 10" to the dictionary, along with your pronunciation and that should make it a cert for recognition. I'm from up north by the way, just south of "the wall", near Robin Hood's tree. :)

If you check at the bottom of the profile edit screen, you will find a button that combines most of the commands into a single row and it is this row that you will need to overwrite the "when i say" field with the new contents. Maybe go through all of the SC commands and add them to your speech recognition dictionary, along with your pronunciation. It takes about 20minutes, but is well worth the time

For salute, i just added "salute" to the speech recognition dictionary and it appears to work fine now

"Chief, remove the wheelchocks" works for me, but you need a PTT (INT/AUX) that works with the radios off, unless you wait until they are on. If you are calling inbound, make sure your radio is tuned to the correct ship, via either "Roosevelt, Select"/"carrier, select", if you have select tunes radio, or just tune it manually.

I was just checking that you had mapped all of the PTT buttons (press and release) and as I have a Warthog also, the two sets of mappings appear to be identical. It isn't that then. When DCS is loaded and you have a mission in progress, does the PTT screen correctly show the module/aircraft you are using?

@DD_Crash, when you open the Vaicom Pro profile for editing in VoiceAttack, does your screen look something like this. Paying particular attention to the rows that begin with "Transmit TX....".?

Just out of interest, do you have Asus Sonic Studio running in the background, as that can interfere with VoiceAttack? If you do, maybe close it down and try again with VoiceAttack/Vaicom.

I was adding some words/phrases to the speech recognition dictionary earlier today and then testing them out in Notepad. For some reason, whenever I said "Stennis", it recognised it as "Stenness", which would presumably not work with Vaicom. As i couldn't think of a time when i would use "stenness", whatever that is, I just blocked it from being recognised, but i suppose i could have alternatively added it as an alias to "Stennis". Could this be why your RIO isn't selecting the correct channel?

I just add phrases to the speech recognition dictionary. It seems to work pretty good.

Sounds like you might have a hot mic. Is the "REL HOT" light lit on the PTT tab of the config dialogue? Mics do tend to interpret all sorts of noises as speech, which is why I'm looking forward to getting an RTX card, for its noise cancelling features.

it does look like WoW is not being taken into account when pressing the NWS/undesignate control, making it carry out both functions, whether it makes any sense to do so or not
