Did the Christmas news release not say that Normandy had to come first before the Caucasus update?? Edit no it was the 2.5 delay announcement: "We have determined that the DCS World 2.5 update will not be available in 2016 as we had earlier hoped. This is mainly due to additional work needing to be done of the Caucasus map update, and we don’t feel it can be accomplished within the next two months at a high level of quality. Before we can complete this map update, we first need to finalize and release both the Nevada map update and the Normandy map. Those, along with the Spitfire, are now our highest priorities. Once the Nevada update and the Normandy map tasks are complete, our map team can return to the Caucuses map and move the 2.5 closer to an Open Beta release."

So if Normandy isn't coming until March (optimistically) than that means 2.5 will be... 2018?

I have a 1080 and it's a great card for current games but DCS is just weird... especially v1.5.5 In 1.5: If you have the Huey module, run the "target practice" instant action with maxed settings and report your FPS. Try the same for the F5E module with the "free flight" instant action and fly nap of earth. I can hit a higher FPS than my 144hz monitor can handle but the game still feels off, especially when panning the view around.

Looking around either by mouse or TrackIR causes weird aliasing/stutter/blur regardless of frame rate or smoothness while the view is fixed. I'm pretty sure this is a DCS problem, and not a hardware or tweaking issue. Same here. I think it has something to do with input device polling rates but no idea if it can be fixed from the user end.

I've been having an issue where panning the view with mouse OR TrackIR causes weird lag/stutter/judder/jitter whatever you want to call it. I'm am starting to suspect that this has to do with polling rate / scan rate of usb control devices. Is there some variable in DCS that adjusts the polling / scan rates of the mouse or TrackIR? Could altering the rates (either + or -) make for smoother view panning? I'm almost certain it's related to the inputs because panning the camera with keyboard or HOTAS hat switches is very smooth. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Is there any way to get DCS version 1.2.5? According to the forum that was the last time this bug wasn't present.

I am having this same problem with TrackIR. I'm pulling 120+ FPS most of the time with my rig but it's a jittery mess when I start panning my view around. Is there a fix for this? Or are people still having this problem?

Sorry, I believe it IS the practice mission... it's the first mission after you get flown in on the C130 (practice ground handling, follow humvee around). Thanks for checking it out.

Just getting started with the BTF campaign for the hog. After some trial and error on BTF01 (Ground handling practice) I've made it through to the end BUT when the instructor says "OK lets check your shutdown procedure" he never says anything else and the mission just keeps running forever. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the campaign, with something I've not done (although the instructor has always failed me if I forgot something), or because ED introduced some nasty bugs with the latest patch: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php...&postcount=176 I purchased and downloaded yesterday, so I would imagine it's an up to date version of the campaign. I'm parked in the red square parking area behind the humvee and no issues with the ILS. Any suggestions?
