Same issue here. Shows in thje Mod manager, shows in my account as paid for and delivered, the latest update is done but just the old Normany and Channel maps are accessable.

I know not 100% appales for apples but i went from a 3800x to a 5800x3d gaming at 4k. The 5800x3d is a huge jump in performance when a lot is going on but ultimately the GPU still bears the brunt of the work at max eye candy and 4K. If you do go for a 5800x3d then make sure you undervolt it, ive shaved off 50mv and load temps have dropped significantly, boosted my CB23 score and also enabled faster and more sustained max single and all core clocks.

Airflow works best in straight lines, with as little in the way as possible and that warm air rises. Room ambient will always be cooler than case ambient Case ambient will always be cooler than coolant Coolant will always be cooler than component. If the room ambient rises then so does the case ambient and then the coolant and finally the component. In the pre WCing days it was always ideal for cool air in at the front and low down with the exhaust being back and high up. Ive found the best scenario for a WCing set up is a case with a separate chamber for the rad, like the old but awesome Silverstone Temjin Tj07, a RAd in the roof with air blown up and through. Check your fans and rads, some are better suited to blowing than sucking, some produce more airflow but less static pressure, and also the opposite. Thick rads with high density fine are great for cooling but need high pressure fans.

OK thank you to @BIGNEWY and @draconus It turned out to be an AC Mod, not sure which one but im assuming a Tornado mod as that went on fairly recently. Anyways my other Mods which are basically just ships are back in and all is working great. Thanks again

Morning When I place some objects on the map in the ME, they don't show up in game, they ate both not visible on the F10 map or in game. Currently effected from those I have tested are. All military ships All land based vehicles. (Planes show up fine.) Fully updated Beta Conducted a full update Conducted a full clean up Conducted a full repair Emptied FXO folders etc And still the issue exists. Any installed mods worked fine previously. The issue probably occurred after the last patch but not 100% sure as I may have run an aircraft only scenario prior to the patch. So to summarise, I can place everything in the ME but once I start the mission only AC show up in game. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Great idea, ive a 2TB NVMe Gen 4 drive just for DCS, another for Steam games, id prefer the 250gb version.

Im at 4k/60hz and have my FR locked to max out at 60fps. Im seeing the odd drop to 45fps with all graphical settings as high as they will go and MSAA at x4. Ok, my home internet connection isn't great, this is a country/infrastructure issue. My work Internet is fast and stable. Can i DL a paid for map or module outside of the game environment (at work on my laptop) and then transfer it to my gaming PC once home. Is this possible? It would save me some serious time if so. I do this with Steam games, DL on my gaming laptop at work then just transfer over via a NVMe external drive once home, Steam see's the game and im good to go. Thanks in advance.

Its easy to answer your own question. Set up a Sp map, take off and monitor RAM and VRam usage. Then add loads of Ai units and fly the same task, again monitor RAM and VRam usage. You will have your answer.

Not true, the core speed may drop due to either thermal throttling OR because the CPU is not being fully utilised. My i7 2700 at 4.9ghz will run slower on some of the cores in DCS (its a single core game after all) Encode some video using handbrake, that will suss out a wobbley overclock.

Run MSI Afterburner and observed resource use ingame. You will see (on DCS 2.0) that VRam is being heavily relied on as is the GPU and RAM, the CPU to a far lesser extent. My 780GTX maxs out on VRAM, i use around 10GB of RAM and my quad core 2700K@4.9ghz is hardly working. So your bottleneck is the GPU.

Malwarebytes Pro version for me, the only one ive tested that put ransomware to bed.

I run a 2700k at 4.9ghz and it is not holding the game back at 1440p, my overclocked (and watercooled) 780gtx is getting hammered. all 3GB of VRAM is in use on 2.0. Il be replacing my 780gtx with a 1080Ti once they are out but il keep my 2700k and 16gb of DDR3 2133mhz RAM.
