I mean, I went through the videos, replicated everything, and 1 out of 2 times I am having issues. I have to do multiple passes before they let lose. I don't agree with you. Turn to target is quite helpful. When I am 8km from a target rich zone and no air threats, I concentrate on by Screen, pick targets and turn to target will get me in the proper position to fire. No input from rudder and trimmer needed. It's fast and efficient. So, less work for the pilot. In any other situation, indeed I do not use it. I prefer using the Data link combined with PVI-800. Designate a target, lock it (Enter key), send to memory in Data Link and NAV/TGT on the 800.

******* ANSWERED*********** Hi, I can't find how I could navigate using the HSI heading bug like in regular autopilot systems. In the KA, heading hold is set by the trimmer but I would like to manually use the heading bug knob to steer the KA. Any guidance would be appreciated.

I actually have to wait more 5 minutes but now it works. Some servers go to black when I click on a slot and never come back?!

I did my Google and forum searches, I have corrected a lot of issues (horrible ping now decent), I repaired, but DCS still crashes as soon as I reach the slot selection. I havent played in 5 months so I missed a lot. Any tips? I run 2.5.3.24436 open beta. Thank you,

Thank you very much, I did do a manual install. So I cleaned-up and used the installer and voilà it all works!

Connected but I get "Unknown" all the time Hi, Since the last 2 updates of DCS I get the same problem. I know I am connected to the server but I can't get any requencies on the overlay, it always displays Unknown. I do have 1.5 clean install but it did this with the previous verion also. Any hints? That's what I intend to do. I actually found a config file in the Cockpit folder under Radio/device. It lists the above frequencies. I edited the file but it didn't reflect in game. Original freqs are still active. I wonder why that file exists.

Hi, In a multiplayer server I use, Inferno, we use SRS. For helo comms, CH23 is required. The problem is the PR4G ranges from 30 to 41 in presets. How can I change channels?

I suggest you try turning off the 3 autopilot switches right of the Main AP switch. You will find it flies much more like the Huey. And don't think those switches are necessary, they are not. They are part of the SAS system that acts as an "aid" to pilot. You let me know if you still think it flies like a MI-* :-)

Map the slew commands Map the slew commands to a 4 position hat switch. Then you can even use it from pilot seat.
