  1. Yeah that's why I switched away from using the in-game zoom axis. It was horrible to use. Using Mouse Scroll Up and Down instead is a more natural alternative, but is also a 2 for 1. Mouse scroll can zoom in and out in camera control mode, but in cursor control mode it can turn dials as well.
  2. They need to be set up using Steam. I plan to have a video out this weekend to go over how to do this. I will also be providing all my controller profiles for download.
  3. The gamepad layouts guide has been updated to all the latest layouts. Also, for HOTAS users, I've included links to controller profiles that you can download and import for the Apache CPG and Strike Eagle WSO.
  4. Ah right, I completely forgot to update what I had here in the forums. I'll update the pictures now Edit: They are now updated
  5. So for the A-4E-C mod, the developers went through great lengths to get the controls to be as accessible as possible. Between the Zoom View Slew you mentioned, to differential braking axis, to even mouse controls bindings and controller defaults - they did a fantastic job supporting as many use cases as possible. Unfortunately, this level of accessibility is really only seen in the A-4E-C mod. Official products have yet to reach this level when it comes to controls
  6. In light of the announcement from Enigma Cold War's Discord Server, it may be best to look into a fix/feature that addresses the issue described below: It seems there is significant server lag caused by many users spamming the join option on a full server, effectively resulting in an unintentional DDOS attack. Perhaps a simple queue system would help prevent this? What are your thoughts?
  7. Or alternatively, LCtrl+Y while in the cockpit to get the info bar at the bottom to tell you your true heading
  8. Yes, correct. Despawn/destroy all alive AI aircraft with a F10 menu option. This would be a way to reset without having to restart the mission or wait for the AI to run out of fuel/land.
  9. Yeah that's what was intended by this layout. It's possible you're running software that takes that button and uses it for something else by default (ex. Steam's Big Picture Mode or something similar).
  10. Pressing the button assigned to "George Show/Hide" in the AH-64D Pilot or CPG bindings will activate the bindings under Geroge AI Helper. These take priority over any other bindings as long as the George AI Helper UI is visible.
  11. If i had to guess, it could be up to two things: 1. Since your Shark thinks it's moving when it actually isn't, by the time you slew to your second target, you'll have drifted a kilometer or so already. But this theory only works if the offset gets worse and worse every time you cage then uncage again. 2. It's possible the 5 digits of precision in the Shark's INU is the cause of an offset that doesn't get worse and worse, but is instead a fixed offset distance with every cage then uncage.
  12. This is what the 3min accelerated alignment is for. It loads the normal alignment that was already stored in the Shark's computer. Much like stored heading INS alignments in the F-16, F/A-18C, A-10C, etc.
  13. Doh, oh well. Then yeah it might be best to take the .trk and steps to RB's discord. I can handle that since I've already posted once about it before. Feel free to add your additional comments about the A-10 and F-14 issues so they know it's limited to the Harrier so far
  14. They seem to already be aware of the issue, but also that it affects other modules like the A-10 and F-14. See screen grab below:
  15. You'll need to try it at least 10 times to get a proper test with a 52% failure rate. In my 40 tests, I've had up to 5 successful replays in a row before getting a crash.
  16. I too have noticed CTD when loading into a Harrier cockpit. I never thought about it being an issue with specifically the Harrier though, so this is interesting. Here's a testcase for devs to try: Load DCS Replay Choose the attached .trk file Let mission load Allow 30 seconds to pass Harrier cockpit will attempt to load Either you will crash to desktop, or the Harrier cockpit will load and the replay will simply end. So far I've got a 52% average for crashing on the following: Georgia_At_War_v3.0.24_afternoon-20221121-210310.trk
  17. This is some awesome work @winghunter! Could I suggest a clean-up option in the radio menu to remove alive enemy aircraft? No biggie if not - it'd mostly be for multiplayer purposes to avoid restarting the server any time we want a blank slate.
  18. To make it easier to switch between Flare, Chaff, or Both, it would be nice to have a "Cycle" binding added that will step through all 3 options sequentially left-to-right: Flare-Both-Chaff
  19. Oh nice, I didn't realize they were momentary. I'll update the original description
  20. To help players with limited binding options (ex. players using console controllers for TEDAC), it would be nice to include bindings that will switch between 2 position switches with a single binding, or cycle between 3 or more positions with a single binding. For example: LHG TADS Sensor Select Switch - FLIR / TV (toggle) toggle between TV or FLIR with a single button (kind of like the existing Polarity button) Note: DVO is not implemented, so can be ignored NVS Select Switch TADS / PNVS (toggle) toggle between TADS or PNVS RHG Laser Tracker Mode (LT) Switch - A (Automatic) / O (Off) (toggle) toggle between Automatic and Off RHG Laser Tracker Mode (LT) Switch - M (Manual) / O (Off) (toggle) toggle between Manual and Off Symbology Select Switch - Up / Up / Down / Down (cycle) cycles between the 4 possible symbology for the HMD sight LHG TADS FOV Switch - W (Wide) / M (Medium) / N (Narrow) / Z (Zoom) (cycle) cycles progressively between the 4 possible zoom levels for the TADS RHG FCR Scan Size Switch - W (Wide) / M (Medium) / N (Narrow) / Z (Zoom) (cycle) cycles progressively between the 4 possible scan sizes for the FCR The above are just some examples that stood out to me. There could be others, but this cycle/toggle concept may not be good for other controls. For example, cycling through Weapon Action Switch A/G/M/R does not make sense since we need to be able to deselect with the same direction press, and can cause unintended conflicts with the other seat's current selection.
  21. Check out this forum post where I keep a constantly updated list of layouts and links to my Input Mapper and DS4Windows tutorials
  22. No rudder pedals? Or are they tucked away somewhere?
