Hi, Was messing around with the turbo gear earlier, but couldn't get it to work. To check that I could in fact start the engines, I had the ground crew re-configure for rotor. I could successfully turn #1, so aborted the start by pressing the STOP button. No fuel was introduced into the engines, so you would think this would be OK... I tried to start the turbo gear and found I had no ground crew... The door was open, etc.. I shut down the aircraft ... still no ground crew. So... I tried to re-start the engine - nothing. Even the START light would not illuminate. Why did I lose the ground crew, and did I destroy the engine or is this a bug? In the end, I had no ground crew, was unable to start EITHER engine, so had to request a new aircraft. Best regards, Tango.

Hi, Set the main Regional Setting to Russian, then install the update. I did this on XP and it works fine! Once it is installed and running under Russian setting, you can then set it back to English and all will be well. No - for the Windows Compatibility thing to work, it has to think the app was installed. If for some reason that doesn't occur, it can think there was a problem, when in fact there wasn't. It's a feature of UAC. I recommend you disable UAC as it hinders far more than it helps. Best regards, Tango.

Hi, No - the Russian tool-tips remain in Russian with English set as the language. I see the same thing. I had English tool-tips in 1.0.0 but Russian in 1.0.1a regardless. I installed the SharkPit 2.0 mod though so now I have English panel with Russian tool-tips! :D I'd prefer Russian panel with English tool-tips. Best regards, Tango.

Hi, Looking for Multi-Player! SimHQ seem to have discontinued their server, and whilst there were plenty of pilots, I couldn't seem to get a general server up and running - people just disappeared. I'm in the UK, and prefer to fly after 2100 hrs. Best regards, Tango.

Hi, First, you must equip them when you get in the sim (it replaces the helmet mounted sight with the NVG). - Press # then F10 then F3 if you have the default key mappings. Once you've equipped them, the default key is 'H' for helmet mounted device. It will activate the NVG. If they are too bright, the knob for the brightness is below the Shkval display. Remember to switch off all other lighting and rig blue lighting - it is NVG friendly. Best regards, Tango.

I changed the Regional Setting to Russian and rebooted, re-installed and now, for some reason, it is working! I think it can't see the entry in the registry under English. I think I had to do this when I installed it off the DVD, too, but can't remember. Thanks for your help!! Best regards, Tango.

The key has only ever been used once, and the V1.0.0 install is running fine. It's when I update to 1.0.1a RU DVD that it doesn't work. Let me re-install the update again. Best regards, Tango.

Hi, I do have the disc. Do I need to put it in the drive? As far as I can tell, I downloaded the update for the disc version. Hi, After downloading the wrong patch, I downloaded the 1.0.1a RU update (520 Mb) for the Russian disc version and installed it. It appeared to go without problems. When I try to fly in single player, it is telling me it wants activating. If I go back to Version 1.0.0, it works fine, so the activation data appears to still be there. I agree that they're not nearly powerful enough. In the "Instant Mission" - I can fire at troops and hit a spot barely 2 feet away - nothing. This needs fixing. Tango.

Superfetch is just a total waste of time! No idea what they thought they were achieving. Nearly all new the features of Vista are disabled here. Memory usage is still crazy though after boot (650 Mb). Best regards, Tango.
