Cheers BigNewy, fired off a email to Andre, via his website for pricing a for a 908 to the UK. Hopefully he can still get them and I've not missed the boat. Just reading the reviews here, is getting me quite excited. As a Helo pilot in DCS, I would love to feel the vibrations from my Helicopter while I'm flying. By the sounds of things, it will go great with my new collective I've also ordered. :) Cowboy10uk And purchased. Looks like I'm joining u guys.

Hi guys, quick question for those with the jetseat, How loud is it, and how much vibration goes through the floor. Currently have a Buttkicker, But now I have a small baby in the house, it's really way to loud when it's in operation, the vibrations and rattling, goes right through the house, peeing off both my wife, waking my daughter and even effecting the neighbours next door. Which sadly means I've had to disconnect it. Is the seat, any quieter? Would love to feel the bumps again as I did with my Buttkicker. Although it does sound like this is significantly better. Is that true? Cowboy10uk

Yes you can mate, just contact them via their website. http://www.komodosimulations.co.uk/collective.html I pre ordered my UH1 collective back in April, be aware though, that there is a waiting list for the controllers, no idea how long bug you are talking months rather than weeks. Komodosim is only a one man band, and rich has a full time pilots job as well. But it will be worth it when it turns up. 50% upfront then the rest at delivery. Had a look at the UH1 collective at Weston last month. It's a beautiful piece of kit. I'll be doing a review when mine turns up. Cowboy10uk

Hi guys, I've been running a 680 4gb OC for a few years now, and while I'm still able to play most things on max at around 30fps with no issues, but of course, computer tech moves on and I've not really been following it. I'm considering getting the commercial version of the Rift or change my monitors to a single 4K TV, but I'm aware this will likely reduce my FPS quite a bit. I'm just wondering if there's any new GPUS out there that you could recommend upgrading to. I have a budget of £600, so while I'm aware there's no chance of getting a Titan of any of the super GPUS, is there anything that will provide significantly better FPS than the 680. Not sure it's worth spending the money just to gain a small increase. My PC specs are in the signature below. Cowboy10uk

Well, if you ever want to test your stuff with Star Citizen, please remember there's a decent DCS community who are floating about in there as well. It would be tough , but I'm sure I could force myself to test for you. :) Cowboy10uk -
Cfantastic news guys.. Time to head into the loft and get the Buttkicker back down then. :) Sorry can't see where I purchase this from. Have I missed the boat, or is this still avalible somewhere. I see the Indego project has ended, but is there anyway I can pay my $20 to get this working. It sounds fantastic. Cowboy10uk

Hi guys, quick question, I currently run my sound through a Soundblaster XFi card in 7.1 through my headphones using an optical cable. Because of this my butt kicker no longer works, however I also have integrated sound on my motherboard, using this program, would I be able to connect the Buttkicker to the integrated sound card and get that working again, while keeping my main sound coming through the optical connection for the headphones on the Soundblaster? Hope that's clear as mud. If you say yes to this, then you are gonna make me day, I've been dreaming about getting the BO working again for ages Cowboy10uk

Ok can anyone please upload this to YouTube? Bloody twitch isn't working for me yet again. God I hate that program. I can see the feed if I go in via safari, but when I click play, the play button gets crossed out and nothing happens. If I use the app, it states there are no past broadcasts on that channel, so at the moment I'm shit out of luck. It's not just DCS, I can never get twitch working no matter who I try and watch. Worst piece of broadcasting software ever smegging made. Cowboy10uk -

Well sadly, my internet connection isn't upto streaming Twitch. Managed to get 20 mins of footage before it fell over and now it keeps stopping every 5 secs. Making it bloody impossible to watch. I'm about to throw this bloody IPad out of the window. On the bright side, what I did see looked very impressive. Sadly it's obvious that it currently isn't very stable, which obviously means it's gonna be a little time yet, before we see it released, but hell I paid for the NTTR map back In 2010 I think, so a few more months isn't gonna make any difference. Loved the graphics, the frame rate was impressive given all the scenery detail, it's certainly giving me hope that she will still run on my machine. I can't wait to take my Huey and spend and good few hrs transiting that map. I appreciate Wags has asked us not to record it and stream after this event, and I'm fairly sure if anyone did it would be taken down fairly quickly. Sadly from a personally selfish point of view, I really really hope Wags changes his mind and allows this to be shown on YouTube. I don't care about the crashes and the errors, it's an alpha for gods sake, but I would love to be able to watch it through without the pauses, and my twitch app crashing. Just because even with the issues it's still pretty bloody stunning. Fantastic work guys. Truely stunning work. Cowboy10uk -

Matt will give us a DCS World 2 Live Stream
Cowboy10uk replied to uboats's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Bugger, this sounds disappointing. Sadly I'm away on holiday and very unlikely to be able to see the live stream. I was hoping to watch a recording of it later in the week. I guess I better keep everything crossed, that all goes well be they decide to show it again at a later date. :( Cowboy10uk -
Ummmmm you may want to look at the thread again. Yes it started off that way, but now he's designing his own sticks. The latest update looks amazing. I hope so, I'm hoping to play with it on the Sat. ( Or pick mine up, if in the very unlikely event it's done by then. Hint Hint Rich ;) ) Got permission to go, so long as I drop my wife off at the Shopping mall on the way. :O Small price to pay though. ;) Cowboy10uk

F-18 grip, WARTHOG compatible
Cowboy10uk replied to hegykc's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Damn that's a stunning update. Quick question though, Is the ejection handle going to be a standalone product or is it only available with the seat mounted stick? I'm planning on getting your TM F18 and Quite possibly the F14 Handle but my stick is already centre mounted, and I don't really want to have to replace the entire setup, The ejection handle though would make a fantastic addition. Also any idea what price range the ejection handle would be looking at? Quickily off topic sorry, The waiting time for the Huey collective is increasing daily, If you want one and have the money, I would order now and get yourself on the list. I ordered mine last month ;) Cowboy10uk -
Just stunning work mate, thankyou very very much for taking the time for doing it. Downloaded onto the iPad ready for next flight. Cowboy10uk

Mmmmmm ok mate, I'll delete and re download and install. Sorry I did forget to say, it's when I start in the slick and then add weapons once in sim via rearm menu. Not sure if that would make a difference. Not tried it starting fully loaded. Many thanks for testing though Cowboy10uk

Hi Abnaxus, just getting back into the Helios setup, after dismantling everything for space reasons, just installed V1.7 which looks great, however I seem to have an issue getting the weapon controls to work. All other switches work no problem, but the arm, weapon select, missile amount switches sadly don't move in sim when I'm using them on the profile, if I use mouse in sim then they work with no issues. Do we know if the key commands have changed since 1.7 was released or have I done something wrong? Any advice would be great fully received. Cowboy10uk

Hi guys, I'm currently using Helios when using the Huey, live baits profile which allows me access to the switches. I also use Helios when flying the A10 and Blackshark, so because of that I use a resolution that covers both screens. However when using the AI menus when flying the Huey, these are displayed on the lower monitor behind the Helios panel. Is there anyway I can move the panels so they display on my main monitor, without changing the resolution? I'm guessing it will be a similar process to moving the A10 and Blackshark panels, however I downloaded a profile which moved them and I've no idea where to start with regards to the Huey panels. Can anyone help? Cowboy10uk

Yes mate, tried both. 16:9 Cowboy10uk Edit : it's ok forget this, I was being an idiot. Didn't look under the weapons button, which brings those switches up. All good. Sorry bout that.
