DCSFlightpanels (DCSFP) thread. Saitek Pro Flight Panels & DCS

That's absolute fantastic news pdMarsh, up in the loft and brought my Saitek pro flight setup back down, just installing them now and hopefully getting this to work. :) Cowboy10uk -
DCSFlightpanels (DCSFP) thread. Saitek Pro Flight Panels & DCS

Two quick question, where on the front page it now states UH1 fully supported, does that now mean the radio panels are working for the Huey, or is it still only the switch panel. Also I'm assuming we have to choice what profile we want to use before flight, or does it recognise for example if I switch from a A10 to a Huey in the server. I tend to fly several different aircraft during a flight session? Cowboy10uk -
F-18 grip, WARTHOG compatible
Cowboy10uk replied to hegykc's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Damn that's an impressive write up, while I do like the idea of an all metal stick, the extra cost, production costs and work really dosnt make it viable in my option. IF and I've no reason whatsoever to doubt your description about the resin grips are true, then as others have said its a no brainier. Add to the fact it brings the cost down to $60 or less then it is a staggering good deal, and will certainly allow people to build up their own collection of grips for different aircraft if they wanted to. So go for the resin, it makes perfect sense. Oh and I'll take a F18 and a F14 grip and throttle set please. :) Cowboy10uk -

DCS: F-14A/A+/B by Heatblur Simulations coming to DCS World!
Cowboy10uk replied to Cobra847's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Instant buy here, I've not been more excited about a module since the Huey was announced. Don't think I've ever seen so many positive posts and such excitement from any module since I started simming, which in itself must show this is a damn good choice. Hell if you allow pre orders, then you can have the money straight away. :) Cowboy10uk -
Leatherneck Simulations Monthly Update - Februamarch 2015
Cowboy10uk replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
 very very tempted myself. If it's a true high fidelity model, will be the perfect training tool for DCS F14 and hopefully will make the time go faster until she arrives. Cowboy10uk -
Leatherneck Simulations Monthly Update - Februamarch 2015
Cowboy10uk replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
Don't think they have yet, believe it's a new feature that will appear after DCS world 2 is released. But sadly everyone is stuck waiting for ED at the mo. However with the amount of 2 seaters being developed or recently released, I'm fairly confident it will be arriving some time this year. Cowboy10uk -
can we have a February Monthly update :)
Cowboy10uk replied to plehmann's topic in Heatblur Simulations
Lol, Released in Beta........... Oh I wish. :pilotfly: Whatever gets announced, I think it's gonna be a interesting few days on here. See what happens when you tease the hounds Cobra. :) Cowboy10uk -
While we are awaiting our own version of the F14 in DCS. Aerosoft has just released the F14X addon for FSX and Prepare3D. According to the reviews it's one of the most realistic simulations of this iconic aircraft. Might be a help to get to know her before she turns up here. http://youtu.be/_Pn1nAWBTno Cowboy10uk

Leatherneck Simulations Monthly Update - January 2015
Cowboy10uk replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
If only someone was creating a map that included a large sea area, working carriers and a large desert area to fly over........................ ;) Cowboy10uk -
Damn that's stunning, I was beginning to think I would never see anything else apart from the Blackshark and A10 use Helios. Great work. Cowboy10uk

Wow I never thought I would ever find a use for these panels outside FSX. Fantastic work. Gonna go up into the loft and bring them back down this very min, and gonna keep my fingers crossed that you get them working with all the modules. ;) Just stunning way to go, rep inbound. Cowboy10uk -
Leatherneck Simulations Monthly Update - January 2015
Cowboy10uk replied to Cobra847's topic in Heatblur Simulations
 lol, I was just thinking that. :) This has been a bloody long month since the tease in the last newsletter, I still can't believe there's even a chance that we may get a Tomcat. If we are all wrong, yes it will be disappointing but at least then I can start breathing again. IF we are all right.................. Oh damn, it will be party time, although a long long wait until she's in my hangar, and in my hangar I promise she will be. Cowboy10uk -
My C-101 is a dance floor, UHF play many songs...
Cowboy10uk replied to Skulleader's topic in DCS: C-101 AvioJet
:) so so happy, you've managed to get this back in. Tuning into radio myaop was always one of my favourite things to do in the original BS, was so so disappointed when they got rid of it. :) Time to hunt out some tunes again. :) Cowboy10uk -

Sounds interesting, think I'll certainly grab a license key then, so long as you don't have to use it straight away. Out of intrest, have any of you who have the preview builds, tested it with DCS, if so does it work ok? No fps drop or driver issues etc. Cowboy10uk -
Count me in, paperwork and payments signed. Just waiting for her to be delivered to my hangar, sadly not until Friday, due to RL commitments. :( Can't wait to fly her. Cowboy10uk

F-18 grip, WARTHOG compatible
Cowboy10uk replied to hegykc's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I will also add here, that with the current plans for DCS Hornet, and a possible DCS F14 in the works, I would certainly be very interesting in purchasing replacement warthog grips for these aircraft. The warthog base and electrics and fantastic, so don't see myself replacing that anytime soon, but if I had an option to get different grips for the base depending on the aircraft would be a dream come true. I'm following this project very closely indeed. Can't wait to see the final product Cowboy10uk -
Hi guys, back in the day when A10 was a pre order, part of the order was the Los Vegas map, which of cause has been slightly delayed. Now it is nearing release, can anyone remember when the pre order cutoff to receive this map for free was? I am obviously assuming that ED will stick by the original pre order and allow those who pre ordered the A0 to receive the NTTR map for free, however that's a question for Wags to answer closer to the release date.
