I had a chuckle at this, sorry Ron, when you load up 3x MK83's on the inner pylon you get a very odd hanging arrangement. Some joker armourer is on crack, see images. Also I noticed a marked reduction in FPS when using MK83's in CCIP mode (sorry don't have log).

I noticed the same. At altitudes below 1500' I would get a 50% reduction in FPS while in cockpit. I go to the external view and I get a marked upshift of FPS. Details: below 1500' 15 fps in cockpit. 25-30 min external view. Above 1500' I routinely get minimum of 35-40 fps. Compare that too the M2000-C is well above that with an overall minimum of 30 fps at low level and routinely pegged at 60 fps.

From what I have learnt from Aerospace Battle Manager (RAF) while in the Middle East is that tasking's come from JFAC (Joint Forward Air Control) and then relayed through to airborne assets.

Not very unique at all, most of the RAF's tactical aircraft, Harrier and Jaguar were rough strip capable. Most of the Russian Air Force tactical aircraft are also the same. Add in the A10's as well and picture gets the bigger.
