  1. Not really a Training mission per se but this channel seems very helpful pertaining the basics.. I'm not sure if the author would do combat training videos in the future.
  2. Sorry in advance ..as I haven't really visited these forum boards that much for a sometime now... Last time I read.. the F-15's TO trim doesn't work as it should or so.. So yeah, was it already addressed or not? Thank you^
  3. What's the Pitch limit for the F-15C anyway? based on the aircraft's length I mean disregarding AoA/Tailstrike warnings whatsoever... 15 degrees? 17 degrees? Anyways, I'm practicing that ground rush thing most of the time.. Though it's kinda hard to do at night when I can't really determine how low I am based peripheral picture or so..
  4. guess I'm pitching too high at touchdown then.. 13 degrees is my average on the aerobraking roll... There's not much reference on how to land the F-15 it seems... or perhaps I'm just too lazy to search..
  5. Nope, It's more of a Physical thing.. perhaps the plastic mechanisms aren't that smooth that it would make my pitch down/pushing forward inputs drift slightly to the left side.. It kinda messes up my landings in the F-15 a bit.. making me touch down with left wheels first..
  6. *Edit: Just realized I posted in the wrong Thread index, ..should've been "Input & Output" To the mods: If this topic can be transferred please do so.. ^^ Thank you^^
  7. I have a query.. Does your stick tend to "drift" to the left when you push forward the control column? I mean Physically.. the stick tends to make a slight left side pitch down.. and not the input that registers in the HALL Sensor... I just bought one but yeah.. mine tends to do that I'm thinking whether I just had bad luck or if this is a mass production flaw.. ^^

    Anime Thread

Before this escalates into something not so good, I'll say I'm sorry for creating this thread. Well, It's probably my fault anyway so yeah.. I should've realized most people find anime (or at least the modern titles) weird or could be plain disgusting.. I'm sorry too for Necroposting or rezing this thread from the dead.. You can now let this thread die in peace... ^ Anyway I'll just post in these forums when I have some inquiries or problems encountered in DCS.. because after all, this is what these boards are all about. Speaking of which DCS 1.5 is great, I just love how the skies looks now^^ Thank you and have a great day everyone!

  13. That's a nice thing to know.. ^^ Thanks people ^^
  14. My current specs: i5-3470 @ 3.20GHz Processor ASUS GTX760 ASUS H61M-E Board 500GB Hard Drive 8 GB of RAM Windows 8.1 64bit Just asking since it seems that DCS 1.5 now has better and higher resolution graphics.. I'm kinda expecting more demands on the Processor, GPUs etc... I get decent FPS in the current DCS 1.2.16.XXXX something.. Thanks^

  16. My very first would be technically, Jane's USAF.. but then it was a "not so legal" copy and played with it in a less serious manner.. So realistically speaking, Jane's F/A-18 was my very first "Authentic Copy" Sim and PC Game.. ^^ I really liked it.. I just love how Sims back then had so many freebies like 200 page Flight Manuals, various charts, etc, ..all packed inside Breakfast Cereal sized Boxes =D

  20. I see ^^
  21. ...on the build of the DCS World? The Build version that I have is 1.2.16.39472. I have made a shortcut of the DCS_updater on my Desktop and so far, hasn't notified me of any new versions nor updating.. The same thing happens when I run the DCS World program itself. It's been like a month or two with no updates on my side.
  22. So I've made adjustments.. When using the ILS, I tend to sort of "duck below" the glideslope bar.. Here's a typical single mission I do.. One thing.. I'll admit that I'm using labels.. well yeah. I'm highly unlikely to play and fight online anyway and more of a Casual player. Just time accel and skip the messy BVR Fight. Pleas critique my landing ^^ I know touched down slightly on the right wheel since my load became asymmetrical after launching a pair of Slammers and a Sidewinder ^^
  23. Sorry for not visiting this thread.. It's a long holiday in our country after all. ^^; So the ILS isn't calibrated to the proper glideslope? is that one of those bugs that haven't yet been resolved?
  24. with the removal of Radar Altimeter since the real aircraft doesn't have them anyway.. knowing when to flare is a bit more challenging.. So far I've gotten used to it..using the Runway threshold and oftentimes.. the "gut feeling" picture of the limited Peripheral vision This works quite well during daylight hours.. At night, I find it even more challenging, especially on moonless nights.. Although I use ILS on night approaches.. but when it comes to flaring, it's not really helpful.. I actually tend to ignore it when I'm only a few meters from the Runway's end and focus on the FPM instead.. So far the only reference I can use are the runway lights. The "gut feel" picture is gone, since everything outside is dark.. I was wondering how you can land the F-15 at night? especially when flaring.. Although I can still land the F-15 at night without crash landing it, often times my flare gets inconsistent, sometimes I find myself flaring too high or too low..
