Don't push the fuel flow lever fully forward right away. Move it forward until rotor begins to spin and leave it in this position. Then watch the gauge until rotor rpm matches turbine rpm. Then slowly (!) push the fuel flow lever forward - rotor and turbine rpm should rise synced until max rpm is reached and the fuel flow lever is fully forward. That should do the trick. I would recommend checking out the great tutorial series provided by the reapers: Cheers, Flo

Hi. I finally finished the mission. I think I entered the village too soon. This time I waited until I got the "all clear signal" and from then on, everything went fine.

Hi there. Also I don't have luck with this mission. And it seems, that there is something wrong with collision model of the roof -it looks flat, but it does not feel flat, if you know what i mean. It's a little bit frustrating, that I'm stuck in the last mission of this outstanding campaign.

I just realized, also Tom Neil, another of my favorite writers, past away just a few days ago, on July 11th, also at the age of 97. May he also rest in peace. S!

Sad news indeed. I loved First Light - easily one of my favorite books about BoB. Thinking of his flight in incredible bad weather, meeting this lonesome Ju-88 in the middle of nowhere always gives me goosebumps. R.I.P. S!

Hi all! Great fun so far, but I think something is broken with mission 5 - basic maneuvers. After the climbing turn I should remain on 8000 feet. Doing so, I got twice a the terminate message because I was exceeding q-limits of altitude. Like I said, i tried it twice and I'm sure, I was not off altitude. To check, I tried the practice mission. Here I got terminated because I was off q-limits of speed. This happened after the climb to 10k feet where I should keep 220 knots - I'm sure i wasn't faster than 225 knots. Anyone else gets the same issues? Thanks in advance, S! Flo
