  1. Hi reflected! I'm currently flying the phantom's red flag and artic thunder, and I was wondering if altimeter settings are taken into considaration. in artic thunder with the datalink I noticed that often my leader is flying at a different altiture than the briefed one, so I reckoned maybe I'm on the wrong altimeter setting. How do you set your campaings? are we supposed to fly always on qnh? or once cleared to a flight level switch to qne? I'm not an expert in how military set their altimeters but I guess them too switch to standard above transition altitude.
  2. First of all thanks a lot, it’s really rewarding seeing people enjoy the campaign! for the number one I’m ashamed I didn’t think of it! Hopefully you didn’t get to many spoilers! for the numer two, I wasn’t aware that magnetic variation in dcs was correctly modelled with the mission’s date. I honestly didn’t think much of the approach angle because most VOR approaches come with an angle: the VOR station sits next to the runway, so flying the radial parallel to the runway would align you with the grass. Usually the approach radial intersects the runway threshold or is calculated in a way that would put the plane in a position where you can easily manoeuvre to align to the runway at minima. I will correct both mistakes as soon as possible. and no, definitely not too nitpicky! All criticism is more than welcomed! thanks again for the time you spent on it.
  3. If I’m not mistaken we should get an aural tone with a locked light, or nothing at all like TLTeo said
  4. there is roughly a 3.000 lbs difference, the bombing card calculates a weight 3.000 lighter than the actual weight. checked both in the mission editor and with the arming menu
  5. Thanks a lot for the kind words! I'm really happy that you liked the campaign after all the work that went into it! having read a lot on the conflict to make this campaign I'll probably work on another campaign for another plane. The plan is all layed out in my head, and the skins are ready... probably I'll make a "teaser" mission soon. Any suggestion for the "Macchi en Malvinas" is more than welcome!! Oh, the song is "Pucara en Malvinas" by Roberto Rimoldi Fraga.
  6. The update is out, version 1.1.
  7. +1 I used to be able to suspend the pc during a campaign mission to finish it later or the next day, which was a neat feature, but it's impossible now...
  8. I'll upload an update very soon! It will fix the crashing bugs and add other interesting features!
  9. There’s a new option in the mission editor to force the player in a particular seat so that’s the way I do it now.
  10. Sure thing! I’m working on bug fixes right now and improving some of the missions, hopefully soon!
  11. Try to load it in the mission editor first, than try again through the campaign menu without exiting from DCS, and let me know. I think it could be a memory problem. If it doesn’t work I might have to disable the late spawn.
  12. Thanks! It’s the only one on the longer side, the other ones are roughly half an hour. Let me know how you like the rest!
  13. The file is now live!
  14. After more than two years of research and trial and error, I'm happy to present my MB-339A Falkland mini campaign! You are a young pilot of Armada Argentina, you were training on the A-4Q, but news of the war brought you back to the airplane you know how to fight in, the Aermacchi MB-339A (MC.33 in the Argentine service). You will deploy to Port Stanley, now renamed Puerto Argentino, and fight your hardest to repell the British fleet. In this 6 mission mini campaign you will find an historically accurate account of the MB-339A's involvement in the falkland war. Planes (including the actual bort numbers), dates and times, troops movements, AAA postions and ships name and position have been researched and accurately reproduced. Each mission has a Briefing and a debriefing document, several custom kneeboard pages, and lots of dialogues for a total of more than 200 voice overs. Inside the package you'll also find custom skins for the 339 (adapted from the excellent skin already provided by IFE) and other Argentinian planes. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/it/files/3344459/ Update V.1.1 Fixed crashes on startup removing the late spawn feature. Completetly reworked mission 3 to more accurately follow the real event. Incredible thanks goes to IFE for all the help!
  15. 3 Missions in and this is payware quality! HB should include it in the official campaigns!! Anything else in the works?
  16. Since a few updates my kneeboard comes with a few preset bookmarks (page 1 of the mission file, random page of the custom kneeboards). Is there a way to change the default bookmark page number so that I dob't have to fix my bookmatks every time?
  17. Just had the same problem, also the mission asks for 1 sec delay but I can set maximum 240ms Edit: just checked tacview and I hit the target perfectly, but still I got the message that I didn't
  18. Hopefully they'll leave in the template at least the default gray, I wanted to update my chilean ones
  19. Oh, so until the template is out we can't produce any livery...
  20. Where are the new liveries located? Can't find them anywhere
  21. For some reason, the Listen to command “1602” (switch seat) trigger in the mission editor doesn’t work in the MB339. I’m building a mini campaign for it and I wanted to force the player in the backseat for one mission. With this bug looks like it’s impossible.
  22. Thanks a lot Rudel, I was going crazy over this
  23. Mb-339
  24. Can anyone get the start listen command for the command 1602 (switch seat) work? I would basically like to force the player in the backseat but while the set command 1602 works I can't get the start listening command 1602 to work
  25. Ok it works, I was only trying inflight. Dumb me didn't think to check in the main menu options. thanks guys!
