  1. Almost everything was flying out of Italy. Aviano, Ghedi, Istrana, Gioia del Colle and Grazzanise were the main ones. Only exception that I am aware of are a few hornets that were operating from Hungary.
  2. They also said the map will have a sea separating red and blue forces. Everything points to Balkan. Baltics by orbx would be great though

  5. As per title, loved every bit of this campaign, really immersive and super realistic! So reflected, just a huge Thank you, Do you have any other F-14 campaign in mind or your trilogy is complete? I will now re play Zone 5 (with the new updates) and then play Fear the bones. But this so far, alongside with Beware! Beware! was my favorite DCS experience. I'll leave a few shots of the camapign.   6. Here in Italy I don't think I've ever seen a multiple ship formation do single take offs, always in pairs.
  7. Please let your wingman take off with you, I'm pretty sure pair take off is the norm, so let the AI take off with you even if you are not starting from the runway (which is the only method now)
  8. No no mods. I will do what you suggest and skip mission 2. Just an advice though: I have both raven one and raven one dominant fury. Read the first book and almost finished raven one once a few years ago. Would you suggest waiting for your update to raven one dominant fury and play that before replaying raven one or the opposite? Thanks!

  10. Hopefully they'll fix it. I don't know if it can be of any help but I noticed that I don't always have this problem. Let me explain better: For example in mission 2 smoke always stops following me and refuels correctly, but never stops following me to take the cutaway (maybe it's a different command). I have the same problem with ottoman courier mission 2, where the wingman doesn't detach to drop his bombs. I could open that mission in mission editor and the problem seems to be the ai task push:switch waypoint function not the stop following command. I wouldn't say to have a low end pc, i run everything at max in 4k at 60fps, maybe I am capping the cpu though. Still thanks for your time, I hope I'll have a chance to play your campaign properly again because they rock.
  11. I was reading the manual and you are right, normal alignment is performed through datalink, cable alignment hasn’t been implemented (unless they did that recently). Did you by any chance inhibit carrier datalink? Being emcon ops? Maybe that’s why it only works with the gpu
  12. No, max 4g on mission 14, and I started the alignment after the turn was complete. But I just realized something, I am disconnecting the gpu right after engine 2 start, as per checklist, should I keep it on until alignment complete (are the ships cables now implemented)? Yep, just tried starting mission 15, definetely my fault with the wrong start procedure. Sorry for wasting your time with this... If anyone is as dumb as me and is having a problem with this just leave the gpu connected until the alignment is complete.
  13. I waited until the ship finished turning, but still the alignment gets messed up badly, in mission 12 I barely found the ship, in mission 13 again locking to the needles was pure luck (I was out by 9nm!) and in mission 14 the HSD indicated 260Kts of wind!

  15. Is the infamous stop following comand not working bug being worked on or at least isolated? This bug is "famous" because some of us are unable to progress in some campaigns (Mainly BD ones) and it only affects a small pool of users appaently. I have no mods, tried both in ST and MT, and don't know what to do anymore. Do we have any info on this?
  16. I did a full repair, I have no mods installed abd tried again in ST, the bug for me is still present both in this mission and in ottoman Courier mission 2. I don't know what to try anymore honestly.

  18. I always get the message helicopter 110 has been destryed, mission failed, before arriving at the helicopter site.

  20. I still have his bug, even with the latest release, smoke at waypoint 4 does not detach to proceed to his task but stays in formation. No mods installed. I am attaching the track. Thank you raven one mission 2 no cut away.trk
  21. Honestly I don't know who in real life would calculate actual gross weight in flight, but I'm betting it was the RIO. It would be very cool if we had a way to ask Jester through the wheel menu to calculate weight or max trap fuel for us.

  23. I'm afraid there's something messed up with the timings in this run. It was friving me crazy but I got an avarage on the third attempt. I got the : You took too long to fire the fox 3 even if I fired in the moment paco did (and slick called fox 3) But the main problem is the bandit "activation time" is wrong. First two times I tought I locked the wrong one because my rear quarter shots where not counting (but then I checked and this is the only bandit remaining); in the third run I stayed with him until he became aggressive and we traded fox ones and even after he shot me, my hit wasn't counted as kill like he stall was inactive, in the end I got him with a loop and a fox 2.
  24. Thanks for the assistance as always! I will if it's not more work for you, otherwise I'm fine waiting for the next open beta release (It's the third of fourth time I'm playin Raven One so I'm in no rush). Could be a good chance to start the harrier campaign XD
