I tried the egg in the 14 against the 86 in the graduation hop, needless to say it did not end well, left engine stall and inverted spin, in the end managed to recover and shoot down the sabre though.

Agree 100% on the skill improve after the campaign, I’m replaying zone 5 now and I’m way way better than before
-
Thanks! Favourite hop was definitely the 2vunk, the most demanding engagements imo. The a2g ground one was also real fun. Bombing from 8k with such a short run in is a nightmare. The constant peg were nice but easier, the 21 especially I found way easier than the f-5. thanks for the recommendation, just ordered the book for my upcoming holiday reading! can’t wait to put your campaign’s teaching in you next f-4 experience, hopefully

Just finished playing it (took exactly 10 days of addiction) and loved every mission of it. I found it almost bug free (only once in the 4vunk number 1 and 2 crashed in two each other at the initial for rwy 8, but that's not the campaign's fault). I played it right after reading Top Gun from Yank, and the immersion was superb, love how every campaign you bring out is a new masterpiece that raises the bar to new unimaginable heights. AI management in this one must have been a nightmare. Congrats! Can't wait for the hinted new Air Force F-4 Campaign. Surely a red flag, hoping for a deployment in the Mariannas or Kola afterwards. A few shots from the campaign On the way to INS (brutally lost to the Air Force's F-4) The egg! (or the start of it) Didn't think the 86 could be a fearsome opponent if not fought in the right way Shack! Live missile firing today I promise not to show this to anyone

F-5E performance (NOT A BUG REPORT)
algherghezghez replied to algherghezghez's topic in F-4 MIG Killers Campaign
I passed the mission 2/3 times as well because of my wingman. As you said either he kills the bandit or the bandit engages n2 and I kill him. It was more of a curiosity if the F-5 overperforming was just my impression. In normal 1v1 instant action I am now unable to beat the F-5 in the phantom if npt by luck. -
I am just curious about your opinions in this. I am aware this will need to be reported on the F-5 forum rather than here but again is more of a poll than anything else. In event 3 fighting the f-5 was no problem (I don’t know if it was scripted). In event 5 though I can almost never force a two circle (the f-5 immediately reverses as soon as I change direction like he has laser eyes) and the few times that I can get in a 2 circles he outrates me. I keep 420kts but he either stays there or gains on me. He looks like to have way too much acceleration. Did you guys have the same feeling? Again no ptobllems in the 1v1 mission.

I don't know how complicated would be to change this, but wouldn't it make more sense to have the take off checklist as soon as we are cleared for take off instead of when w are lined up and stopped? this way I have to wait a good amount of seconds on the runway letting the lead run away and thus making the 1 mail trail checks very hard. Also usually you don't want to seat on a runway doing checklists but occupy it as little as possible.

HI ChillNG, just finished mission 12 and I must say it's one of the most outstanding campaigns I ever played, I'm sure I'll love part two but I would really love a viper pilot themed one when we'll have the Iraq map wink wink. Anyways, in mission 12 during the raid I had a pop up SA-11, south of Damascus, couldn't finsd it and a Hammer got killed. Then I rewatched the mission in tacview: the SA-11 was west of Damascus not south and A Devil got Killed not a Hammer. Any idea of what happened? Thanks for your great work!

In mission 14 the laser code should be 1665 as per briefing notes, but with the new fuzing system the bombs are set to 1668. (I discovered this after my bombs didn't track)

D-Day 80th Anniversary Screenshot Contest
algherghezghez replied to Reflected's topic in Reflected Simulations
All from the blue nose bastards, I will start the reworked Big Show one soon so maybe I'll be able to post more Last one is not strictly D-Day though -
Hi all, I currently have a z-370-a mobo with a i-5 8600k and expecially with the phantom is starting to struggle (lag spikes rather than lower frame rate) a bit (2d 4k). I'd rather not change the whole mobo+cpu+ram so I was considering upgrading to a 9900k; anyone with a similar experience? Is it worth it? rest of the build is 3080 and 32Gb of ram. Thanks guys!

Hi reflected! I know you said in your video that you're not going to do a vietnam campaign with an incorrect map, but does that also exclude a sequel to paradise lost in the F-4? I just played the Paradise lost - Covey 41 mission and it is a blast! a full campaign looks almost too good to pass as an opportunity. Always appreciate your effort anyways Pics from the mission hoping to bribe you XD

[Known Issue] Jester UI blurry in 4k
algherghezghez replied to algherghezghez's topic in Bugs & Problems
Thanks a lot! -
In 4k the jester UI looks terrible, any chance to upgrade it to 4k?

DL dows not work in mission 7. tried several times

Hi reflected, I'm flying again the campaign in preparation for debden eagle, and I must say I love it with the normandy 2 map, and love the skins! I was wondering if there was a way to apply your awesome pilot skin also to the in cockpit pilot, not to have that horrible modern green flight suit. Thanks!

This is laughable at best, it has less sophisticated systems than the mig-21 we currently have, which other than lots of skill requires a good deal of carelessness from the receiving end.
-
Would it be difficult to code an option to have a pre-warmed engine at mission start (like in reality). It seems incredible that we don't have that.
-
Single player (Beware! Beware! sortie 14) I flew 20 minutes at ground level in cruise setting, normal take off and normal temps
-
Can anyone explain me this engine failure? Cruise setting 2400 RPM and +2 boost, oil pressure normal and temps normal as well Then I got a sudden yaw and the oil temperature quickly rised (the increased Boost and RPM was becaused at first I suspected spark fouling) Until complete engine failure a few seconds later I also attach here the track file spitfire engine fail at cruise settings.trk

Just out of curiosity, what was in this list?
