I figured out how to put a pilot in a liferaft in Mission Editor. Add a ship and select liferaft. Then add static UH-1 cargo and adjust the weight to 220 lbs. Then place that cargo in the liferaft. So you have the liferaft in the water and the pilot figure in the liferaft. However I can't seem to get him 'hooked' after prolonged hovering over him (10+ seconds). Also if the rope length is not extra long then the raft is blown away by the rotorwash. I put it in a inshore pond so it couldn't move and still no hook. Anyone have some suggestions???

The main thing is to figure out what is causing the network spike. I'm not sure whether it is a DCS, Oculus, nVidia, or something else. It certainly appears that whatevers spiking the network is causing the GPU to almost drop offline for a millisecond.

I'm in VR and finally found the cause of the jerk/lag/stutter that happens so regularly I can predict it. So Task Manager showed me that my internet was causing the spike/lag. I turned the internet connection off and smooth as butter. Same flight, internet on - Spike, same flight - internet off - smooth and no lags jerks or any of it. The network on/off in game didn't matter with the stutter. My GPU was around 68-70 but when the internet spike hit it would go to 25. So big step forward!! But now what in regards to multiplayer??

Didnt see the post, pimp, until I pushed send. I will try it. I was lowering the number hoping to move the menu left. I will raise it and see what it does.

Ive played with the menu width before with no result although other VR users have had it work. Ill have to try it again with the new DCS version.

Yeah, I use VoiceAttack but would much prefer to use the regular radio menu. I use it now as it is but having to always look up and right to select a radio F key is a real inconvenience. The DCS Menu Fix 1.2 is handy but a little slower.

In VR it would be a lot easier to use (click on) the radio if it would come up more in the middle of the cockpit than in the upper right side. I've seen and tried many "fixes/jury rigs" but nothing really works unless you know how to write code. Every mod I have tried doesn't just simply move the dialog (F Hotkeys) to the middle of the screen. Any help out there?

When flying the Hornet the sound of the engine cuts in and out sometime. Its the same sound it just jumps up and down in volume. Anybody have this? What is it and what to do about it?

It's not a seat thing. Happens in non seat mode also...

I've only had it happen with the seat but then I haven't flown the Hornet without it. The sound volume cuts in half. There seems to be a correlation to the throttle movement. Hard to explain. Like all the sounds working then th e engine sound cuts off and then comes back on repeatedly.

What's the sound issue in the F-18 where it sounds like the engines are cutting in and out?

I figured out how to open the instructions. Yes, I believe it's a binding issue. I've forgotten how I did it before. I use my throttle quadrant for comms. Thanks for keeping on this! What do I need to call the throttle or how do I bind it?

Is this mod still working? I LOVE what it brings to VR but I cant seem to get it to work now. It used too.

Can yu have the app read the throttle position sensor like the DCS controls menu does? Ormaybe read the rpm digital readout? The F-14 will have tapes to, not round gauges. Trying to help. I don't know about coding at all.

Search for 'VR Labels mod'. Ive lost track of which/what is current. If I have labels, which is practically never, its with that mod. It puts just a grey dot on the screen for you.

F410, I have got to echo the thanks for all the work you have done, and still do! I can't fly, ESPECIALLY helicopters, without my seat!
