I loaded the Night RGB Fix after the Shaders mod. Is that right/ok? -
VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
mariner3302 replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
I did try it without any mods and I think I am going to roll back to the last update. Performance in VR is worse regardless of the mod working or not. Mostly because I dont see anything in this update that positively impacted anything I do. -
VR Shaders mod for better VR experience
mariner3302 replied to Kegetys's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Yep, same exact thing for me. -
Precisely!
-
That is NOT adjusting fire. It is playing a board game. I mean actual call for fire mission with adjustments. Its basically a different 9-line that you adjust the rounds visually until the fire for effect or target destroyed.
-
The ability to call and control specifically adjust arty should at a minimum be added.

Miles, will you be able to implement haptic feedback? Maybe some small pads at the index fingers that give some indication that you are in fact touching a button/switch/control?- 3421 replies

What are "Dynamic Cockpit Systems"? -
I cant wait til he updates this! Please add multi carrier support!

Map the TDC press down action to something besides the sticks TDC. Works great. Warthog stick TDC doesnt have the physical ability to work. Least mine doesnt.

You have the tanker orbiting before turning on the TACAN. Put the orbit after the activation and you are good. Make sure you put a stop condition in the orbit for however long you want it to orbit. Put a waypoint after the orbit start to get a racetrack orbit between the two waypoints.

Alerax, I routinely have multiple carriers in a mission, Stennis, Bush, and Vinson plus the Tarawa. Is it possible to assign each carrier its own script so I can use it on each carrier as required? I looked through the lua and I can not figure how you could make this script work in the first place, brilliant work!

SOLVED!!! You, Sir, are a steely eyed missile man! I never tried the setting in the aircaft setting, only the main settings. I have been whining nd searching for the answer to changing it all over. Literally I spent hours.. THANK YOU!!

Actually, the current Case 3 approach and landing sequence in the script is correct a d functions fine. The work in progress seems to be the Case 3 Marshall Comms Stack. So select Case 3 in the menu and then follow the ICLS in to the 3 mile initial. You will be authorized to descend and when you pick up the ball then stop using ICLS and land. It isn't perfect but it does work fine. I fly completely moon less nights without much trouble. The view in VR needs major tweaking to do it beforehand, tho. Practice it in the daylight, then stormy weather, then night.

Any progress on the script? I have been training with Bankler Case 1 training mission. I change times and weather and the carrier sometimes and I add other aircraft to fill the pattern. It really has helped me use Aleraxs script in my missions. Im looking forward to the script evolving and more added to it. Thanks Alerax!

Yes, you are right, Andre. I was just trying to get across that SSA will take care of the effects sent to the seat. I would recommend the Jetseat. Andre has great service and his seats are proven and lots have them so there is a ton of experience to help you if you have questions. The Jetseat is also plug and play where as, for me, the shaker pucks and stuff need a lot of tuning of the amplifier and placement and I am still trying to figure it out. I got them to shake and work but I haven't figured out the settings I like yet. That's no reflection on Bass Shaker or SSA or Sound Module. It's a me thing with where to put it, getting things dialed in. The etseat I have everything at 100% and I absolutely can't imagine flying without it. -

This will help you - http://www.476vfightergroup.com/showthread.php?5893-Setting-up-a-Buttkicker-(or-other-transducers)&highlight=voicemeeter -
If you have the Rift, it's sound to the speakers is sent through the cable/wires that connect it to the PC. So your sound card isn't being used for that. The signal to the software that powers the seat/shakers is sent through the sound card then. So I think you are worried about the sound card powering both and it doesn't.

No, it won't. Just plug the seat into the PC, install the software, and it will do the rest. SSA will send the signals to the seat based on the aircraft sounds in game, not the sound you here going to the headset speakers. I have a Rift and the jetseat. It is easy. There are a couple different seat variants but they all work the same. You will get hooked on having the feeling in the seat, guaranteed! -
