But finding out about delays through third party or social media is not what a serious company would do. With so many product release from ED and third parties a webpage like the one in the link could really bring a lot of clarity because not everyone goes through all these forums, or has the time to sift thousands of threads to find news of a expected release or delay. And at the end of the day when you prepay for something you expect a little respect. Not so much a complaint as just constructive criticism.

This module is a real treat, just a fun bird to fly. Been a while since a new release has been so easy to just jump into and have a blast. I am just amazed at the awesome audio from not having the doors, yesterday I landed next to the runway at Incirlik Air Base and watch and even more listened to F-4's take off and it brought me back to my childhood in the 70's. Could not get over the realism. Anyway just a great job on the module.

What would be nice is if they had an option for a subscription base where you pay a monthly fee and get total access to all modules and maps.

I don't think of it as I'm buying this module or that module, I'm investing in DCS. The more revenue the more software Engineers and so on. As a business they have to pony up front all the costs for dev work so pre buy is sort of a bridge loan for them.

I see lots of questions about map size and naval operation, I only want to know if we will get the BLU-82 Daisy Cutter. The C-130 is coming so this would make a great pairing with the Afgan map.

Can someone help me, my HMCS in the Viper is not turning on during startup, it only turns on when the landing gear goes up and I am airborne. Not a big issue except I am having to calibrate in flight. In all the videos and docs it shows it turning on during startup when you turn the knob. Is there a switch or setting I need to set?

I used to run on only the MAC Pro's as I do a lot of 3D mechanical design with solidworks and the rendering needed something powerful. I will say I had two of these for over a 10 year span and at the end they both still worked like new, only thing I ever did was add a hard drive. And I always used bootcamp. But as DCS has grown I also grew out of the MAC PRO as I was told the newer ones did not support windows/bootcamp (maybe bad info) and in the last 4 years I have burned up two computers. So I will say in my experience the MAC Pro towers were built like tanks and cost about as much as a Abrams tank.

I got it working. I ended up reloading the driver and also downloaded the T.A.R.G.E.T software from Thrustmaster and got the firmware. So one of these three things seemed to remedy the issue. Thanks for all the input it helps to make you think of things to try.

I use the thrustmaster A-10 throttle and stick and with the last update my slew control does not work on the throttle anymore. I look under the controls settings and it only has the keyboard commands. When I try to reset or add there is no option to get it back to the HOTAS. Can anyone help me to reset or where I can download a LUA. file for the thrust master, I looked on the DCS site and the only LUA files are for other controllers. I just need the factory default I think, please let me know what to do. Thank you

Last month I was flying through a MOA airspace in the Western US and was handed off from the controller to another inside the MOA which was odd, with the call sign SHOWTIME. I think I was talking to a E-2 but really do not know.

I agree that ED has to 100% use some artistic license, in the real world we have to deal with fleet groundings, AOG and many other things you do not see here. You just select a plane and it starts up every time, that is not real world at all. But what kind of simulation would it be if you got in your cockpit and 25% of the time you had to shut down and 15% of the time you had to wait 2 hours for ground crew to perform a task, or even better yet 18% of the time you are 30 minutes out on a mission and a warning light comes on and you have to RTB. No one would want that realism in a simulation unless you are the actual apache pilot using a simulator to practice emergency procedures. Skim over "ARL-TR-1172" an old doc on Apache readiness just to get an idea of what is involved. You will be amazed at the complexity of keeping these birds in the air.

An equal part to this experience is not just the module but all your interfaces and your display. When I invested in the HOTAS WARHOG Throttle and Stick combined with getting a TrackIR and a 40" 4K display it brought the simulation to a new level. Many people out there have built mock cockpits so there simulation even with a crappy module is better then mine with the best module. PS: Harrier sucks but I still have fun flying it from time to time.

So the E-2 and S-3 are fully AI functional? That is really cool. Does anyone know if there will be pre-programmed decks that are populated or do we have to start from scratch?

The NTTR map already goes north enough for Fallon NAS. Seeing we have the Hornet, Tomcat and F-5 aggressors it would seem natural to implement Fallon for both Top Gun and the Strike Warfare Center.
