The other good news is the announcement last october that they were going to use their new process to scan again the Mirage's cockpit. Perhaps we'll see more than "just" a new set of textures. When the Mirage will be done, it will be truly one of the very best DCS modules.

And this is exactly how everyone should react. This is the most sane and logical stance to adopt, we will have plenty of time to praise the team and recommend the product once they deliver. Just a matter of months if everything goes according to their plan.

From Razbam's previous official statement, all work on planes but the Mirage 2000, the AV-8B and MiG-19 has been suspended until the first three modules are completed.

That's one way to look at it. If you're flying solo and don't have someone to fly with that's certainly an inconvenience, but for people always flying with a teammate it's pure joy. The fact is, the Strike Eagle won't offer any AI so you could not swap position even if you wanted it.

Yep, just flew a mission yesterday where a Mi-8 and 2 Su-25 were in approach for landing on Vaziani, I could see them miles away while I was at the holding point. I could not see the Mirage coming after them even in short final. I hope we'll see some improvement with this summer MLO.

I'm using tracks for creating content for almost a year and I did not have a single issue. I run stable release exclusively.

It has always been that way, very high prices at launch, then a progressive decrease as the product shelf life is increasing. I remember the Warthog being sold $500 at launch when today you can find it at $300/350 on a regular basis. Plus, I'm not sure the flight sim enthusiast demographic willing to pay several hundreds dollars/euros for a stick is as big as it was ten years ago. So the real question is : can you wait a few years to get a grip at a lower price or will you pay up front the $200 to get the latest toy ?

Please, stop with this non sense, the price is just about the same as grips from others brands. Just deal with it.

Well, Virpil unveiled their throttle a long time ago and it did not do that much regarding the throttle from VKB xD

Another source of potential problem : shadows. Did you activate them in the cockpit ? I had to turn them on (to low) to have contrast on these buttons, otherwise I couldn't read them or even know if they were lit up or not.

I think you have been spoiled by OLED screens - if I remember correctly my experience with the Vive I found the colors to be oversaturated, something I never could get over with - but that's something personal, a lot of people will always go with oversaturation instead of more blend and natural colors. The real drawback for LCD panels are the blacks that are not deep enough, but they seem to get better at this. Your experience with WMR is quite interesting as I never experienced a single problem you mentioned. I guess I'm the lucky one.

Yeah, for that much variants I'm willing to pay the "mandatory" $79 for their first one, then around $35 for the others one I'm interested in. In fact I really don't know how much differences there is between each model but it's clear to me that it shouldn't come for free.

I must say that the MCG Pro is currently the best stick I ever used. Sure, this is some kind of plastic but the build quality is phenomenal. I'd like to think the price difference is due to the metal used in the Hornet stick, plus licencing fees.

Nope, they do not deliver outside Germany. I wanted to order from various HP european stores and the customer support always told me it was impossible to process the order outside their respective country.
