Nevertheless, they can't keep up with three modules out and in early access state while working on the next plane systems and FM with only one system coder and one FM coder. It makes no sense at all. Edit : Oh ! BTW, I was the one who called out the ambiguous Decoy statement about having three coders for three aircrafts actually released. I was not interpreting anything, I specifically quoted the previous statement from Decoy to raise a yellow flag. A warm and friendly reminder can be found here. Still waiting for an answer after three weeks. That's kind of depressing to be honest.

Unfortunately, that's the whole Mirage section that went dead silent lately. It seems Razbam's Discord is experiencing the same calmness. We'll have to wait some more.

Harrier screenshots have been shared by the team, I don't know if the Mirage will get an update as well. I won't lie, it could be nice to see something from the panels.

Is that a Rift S topic now ? Seriously, this type of message could be exchanged by MP or be posted in the appropriate topic guys. Think about those who don't visit this topic every day and have to catch up on all the previous messages. I really don't care about the Rift S and I'd like to find on the Reverb topic the appropriate informations I'm looking for. Thank you for not throwing me rocks and sorry for the sunday rant.

All the reviews I read talked about an end of April release, in the US at least, no word for availability in others regions for now.

As long as you're doing AT-ATs and all the other stuff to replay the Battle for Hoth on Winter Caucasus)))

Glad to know this is a work in progress and that you are planning to add more equipment and vehicules. This is really a very good news for people looking to recreate situations as credible as possible.

The mod is fantastic ! Do you have any roadmap to communicate about future addition to your French Pack ? I wish some Crotale and Mistral systems were included to defend french occupied air bases :x

Is it really an ED problem ? I don't have any other plane so I can't check what's happening with another aicraft. What's sure is the fact that I saw two MiG-21 on a taxiway yesterday that made me jealous.

I'll try that as soon as I'm back. Thanks for your help !
-
Yep, this is a problem known for months and includes all the external lights of the plane (police, refueling probe, etc).
-
Well that's odd, this is exactly what I did and the mod does not appears in the installed mod section in DCS. I did transfer the whole archive in the tech folder without unpacking it. Is this the right way to do it ? Thanks for the help)

Well I am a bit late to the party and just discovered this new mod. It seems truly amazing and went right away to download it. Unfortunately there's no readme.txt with the actual steps to install it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks !

Aerial refueling, no transfer complete message
33-DFTC replied to Knock-Knock's topic in Resolved Bugs
I didn't flown a mission without fuel tanks for ages, I'll give it a shot tomorrow. Yes the lack of tanker communication in the radio menu is a known bug for a few weeks now. There's a workaround somewhere in the Razbam subsection until they decide to fix it and include it in a future update. -
Even if they would only offer a Mirage 2000 stick without the throttle it would be fantastic. A manufacturer supplying sticks for the most popular DCS planes would be amazing but certainly very expensive for customers as there would be small batches of products.

We obviously don't play the same game. The vast majority of the players can witness this behavior and it has been aknowledged by ED in a previous video (I wish I had time to find the source, I'll try later), but sure you hold the one and only thruth. Oh, just one more thing. People are still waiting for your sreenshots backing your claim on the 4K topic in the Bugs and Problems section. Or at least share your secret to spot aicrafts at 15nm on a 4K monitor.

[KNOWN] Spotting with 4K, Monitor size vs Resolution
33-DFTC replied to imacken's topic in General Bugs
I share imacken's problem too and all the simmer I know using a 4K display on DCS have the same experience. Would you share with us your secret please ? Imacken shares two screenshots of the same situation with and without labels, it's pretty obvious the planes are not visible with the labels turned off. Can you share with us screenshots of a similar situation where you can spot planes without labels at 15nm on a 4K display ? You're using the native resolution display in game, right ? -
If it was just a methodology issue as you firmly believe, the people complaining would experience it in others flight sims too. In my case it's not happening, I don't struggle on the two others main combat flight sims out there. Never.
-
I concur with Grizzly comment. I play various sims (modern and WWII) and DCS is the only sim of the three to give me headaches at spotting. It needs a serious revamp of the rendering system.

The Hornet mini-updates thread is the golden standard to me. The fact that the topic is closed to external comments make the thread easy to read and follow.

There are very informative images of the real Mirage 2000 HOTAS in the manual. I used them to bind my own HOTAS and replicate as close as possible the real pilot's workflow. Are these images not explicit enough ?

Do I think they could do it in a couple of months ? Of course I don't. I can only imagine how difficult it is to code all this stuff into DCS. What I am saying for a few weeks now is that Razbam keep working on new modules when they have so much to do on the ones already released with very limited ressources. You cannot hope to finalize an already three years old module with only one system coder when he has to work on the Mirage, the Harrier, the MiG-19 and all the upcoming modules in the queue line. Razbam is just proving that it cannot be done, it's not a one man job and I sincerely feel bad for him to have to deal with this situation. Decoy stated that Razbam has one coder for each released module. Questions were asked to clarify his statement a few days ago ; at this time we did not hear from him. I do enjoy the Mirage as surprising as it can be for some of you. And this is because I deeply care about this plane that I'm following its development process. I said it multiple times but I only own the Mirage and fly her daily ; this is why I'm feeling constrained by the module limitations and bugs. At this time I cannot engage in very complex missions because of some systems lacking in functionnality or behavior. I know for a fact that some of the MLO updates informations had already been provided way before the FAF deal was made by a very knowledgable Mirage 2000 person, his comments has been ignored. I also know that some users are sending very detailed reports of malfunctions or incorrect systems behavior to Decoy for months and that he does not reply to these reports. This is the work of several hundreds hours of flight on the Mirage that are just being ignored for unknown reasons. You'll find some screenshots of a document I just found yesterday and sent to Decoy several months ago. That's clearly not your average report. I love the Mirage being flyable in DCS, I love the fact that Razbam got the courage to develop a baguette plane, I definitely love their deal with the FAF. I only have a simple request : finish the job in a timely manner while respecting the promises you made to your loyal customers.

I could not care less about others developpers, that's not the point of this discussion. I own a Razbam module and I expect only excellence from the people working on the project I chose to support. If someone at your job is mediocre, are you going to set the bar at his level or do you have enough respect for yourself to give the absolute best you can provide ? Rethorical question of course.

Hello Decoy, I quote, from your January update at the 5'44 mark : Did I missed something ? Did I really spread false information or did I just relay information you actually provided ?
