  1. As a matter of fact I did not. Because I'm flying at best a few hundreds feets above (but to be honest I rarely go under FL100) and at several hundred knots. On the other hand I see plenty of old aicraft model from very close distance when I intercept them for a visual ID and boy some of those look ugly. Don't get me wrong, any upgrade is a good thing but DCS being primarly an aicraft combat simulation I expect the aicrafts being the priority. I know, it's nuts, right ?
  2. I'm a bit disapointed too about the ground vehicules being the priority instead of the aicraft models.
  3. Would you translate your post in english for non speaking french users please ?
  4. You're totally out of the point. Please don't take a single sentence of my post to justify whatever you're trying to defend.
  5. DCS is not made for WWII at this point. Absolutely nothing make sense when you look at the map and its assets - can we talk about the fact that none of the planes should be in Normandy in June '44 ? Eagle Dynamics move to complete a failed outsider project was nice, but I think they made a mistake. I don't blame Ugra Media for the state of the Normandy map, they're just doing what ED asked them to do, they're under a specific contract and if they moved on it's probably because ED asked them to. If I want to fly on a WWII realistic setting, I know where to go. Perhaps the situation will change, but at the current pace, I don't see it coming until a few years.
  6. And some have the expertise and experience to evaluate the situation and are not less concerned than regular joes who have made a leap of faith in supporting a 3rd party developer.
  7. it's out there.
  8. A very interesting (and worrisome) report from the US Government Accountability Office : You can find more highlights from the report or download the full document (81 pages, an easy read) by following this link.
  9. Monstertech is selling them if you already have hardware from their company. Here's the link.
  10. I'm not sure a price drop would ever happen regarding this kind of lenses. If a company needs a very specific lens with a very low tolerance error the price may never go under a minimum price. If I take my experience with photography, I paid a premium for my Leica lense and its price never dropped under a very hefty price. I hope time wil prove me wrong. Let's wait for the consumer version they're working on.
  11. Dream come true, one of the best option regarding the current line up of aircrafts available in DCS and the future chinese hardware coming to the sim.
  12. Hi AeroGator, I'm not the one having a problem, Pudu is. His call for help was in the previous page
  13. Do you really feel the need to use the f word on a situation like this ? Come on !
  14. Let's match these two airframes in their respective time frame. The Hornet actually depicted in DCS is a 21st century aircraft, I don't see the point to compare it to a 80s/90s aicraft.
  15. The problem here is not quality as it is very high but the customer support itself. Having a ticket open for 90+ days without reply from VKB on their own website is nuts. I love my GF Pro, I use it for a year and a half now and I could not go back to a non modded Warthog stick. Saying that, I would never recommand VKB to someone because of the supply problem and limited customer support. I had a problem once and I had a reply within 24 hours, it was last year. I suppose something has changed since then.
  16. Sorry, forgot to enlist in the fanboy army. I'd love to say I'm sorry for being harsh regarding some comments but I'm not, I never made a misleading comment and I always have been very respectful toward the team. Giving them praise and encouragements when justified and being critical when it needed to - from my point of view at least. If you can't accept legimitate critics from customers using your products daily for a long period of time, there's something very wrong. A company should be welcoming critics either positive or negative that's how you grow as a company. My critical comments lately were never related to the work they have done but to their inability to keep their word, pushing back a much needed update for an entire year, making misleading statements about the team composition, etc. The fact that the team has decided to stop delivering new modules on the market until they're done with the three modules currently in development is a good news for everyone. The customers will finally fully enjoy their product (the Mirage will be 4 years old this winter, FOUR years into release - please process that information) and Razbam will be left alone by the angry mob. I still support Razbam by flying the Mirage daily - my only module - I still continue to support their excellent deal sealed with the French Air Force who is truly a tour de force. If Razbam still intend to develop at a later date a Mirage 2000-5 as they told last October, I will be one of the first customers to give them money to do so. I love the Mirage platform and I love Razbam for making this module a reality.
  17. Thank you both for your replies.
  18. This would be a great adition to the aircraft. I raised this question several times and never got an answer, that being said I feel my questions are ignored as others users receive replies to their own questions. Way to do business folks, take notes.
  19. Razbam already met the pilots once, why the french air force would change its stance after publicly communicate about their deal with the team ?
  20. Hello, Following the recent surge of complaints on the forum about the Razbam Mirage 2000-C this weekend, I wanted to know if there is any legal document related to third party customer service and responsabilities towards their customers on Eagle Dynamics website. I can't find any. On another matter, are the mods or admins able to see deleted messages by community managers ? How customers can attract attention regarding moderation without making the situation worse ? The topic is a bit tricky I suppose as the third party is engaging ED's responsability and image too. Thank you))
  21. Please, would you ask the team members to share their plans regarding the questions I asked in the post you deleted which, by the way, was on topic.
  22. Would you share your source to the availability and price please ? I can't find them on Acer website. Thanks ! Edit : I just realised you're talking about the Acer OJO 500 and not the Acer ConceptD Ojo, which is the new headset announced earlier today. Nevermind.
  23. I was wondering when the Serval will receive its update to display the appropriate new threats. We waited several months last time we got new emitters in the game, I do hope it will not be the case this time. Can someone from Razbam enlight us about the update process ? Is it that hard to add a new item into the Serval/RWR libraries ? Thanks
  24. I used to run an Oculus Rift and jumped in the WMR ecosystem to have a slight increase in clarity. I never used my Rift in a room scale environment, I obviously cannot compare it to the WMR room scale experience. The fact is that I never got tracking issues in a seated position.
  25. As an exclusive seated VR player on a Lenovo Explorer WMR headset I can say without a doubt that I never experienced any lag. Is this lag related to the use of the VR controllers ? If so, it will not be a problem for exclusive sim use.
