I use to watch F4 pilots do this, they would turn the acft so the chute would release and blow off the edge of the runway so not to interfere with other planes landing. They use to turn go to high power for a second and release the chute, I wonder if LN is trying to duplicate this.:noexpression:

In the Mig 21 when I rearm even in SP mode and I try to put 2 60M's on each of the 4 pylons what i get is 2 on the inboard pylon on the right wing and 2 on the outboard pylon on the left wing. Left and Right as I am sitting in the cockpit.

I notice with all the switches set and a nuke loaded as soon as I flip the switch to special the bomb is released every time.

I have been trying to drop the Nuke, it is center line mounted so it is not a pylon 1,2,3,or 4 and is not selectable. I have all the switches I can find, it is armed and ready but when I hold weapon release nothing happens.:huh: I can pickle it using the emergency switch but that does not help me. Can some one write a Step by step switch by switch procedure on how to drop center line mounted bombs? I even watched the videos but it did not help with center mounted stuff Thanks

The crew chief would probably be replacing all the disk if this thing has disk brakes, they would've got so hot it would have warped them:lol: Sure was a pretty landing though:thumbup: Makes me want to join the 159th:music_whistling:

Can the R60m lock onto a heat signature after it is launched or does it have to be locked on pre-launch only?

QUENT, How do you get so close to the ACFT when you take your screenshots, I cannot zoom in anywhere near that close. Very Nice shots also:thumbup:

The Pilot from Egypt does a Split S from 3000 feet which is 914 meters. I have tried it but without success, figure he has no stores and has exhausted most of his fuel in the turning fight prior to this maneuver. :music_whistling:

Hi, I have a 42" monitor and have the same problem, check this post on how to put AWACs in the mission to direct you http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=130832 or put in a GCI to direct you .

How about a MH-53E, Something with alot of systems to manage and a ton of power, plenty of fuel and can take a bunch of 50cal hits and stay in the air...I was crew chief on this aircraft for a while, a long time ago :thumbup:

I am surprised...The thrust to weight ratio is so much better for the F16, I do not see how the Mig 21 could even keep up in a vertical fight:huh:

I tried this also, putting an E3A in the mission, when I bring up the comms I see it listed but when I try to contact it I only hear myself. I wish someone would create a Video of mission building for the Mig21 and adding freq's for EW sites, EW Aircraft the manual is not very helpful on setting up GCI for a complete Nooob. Some of us need "Mission Building for Dummies" :noexpression:

How do you assign frequencies? I tried edit but I see no where to put a freq in. Thanks

YEA! YEA :cheer3nc: I was just going to ask someone to do this. I can manage the weapons and systems on the Black Shark, but having gone through the Radar tutorial 2 times even using the pause key and reading the script. I have no clue:cry: on how to use it or how to lock a missile on a target.:huh: I know if someone showed me how to actually do it I would get it but the training is just not working for me. I love flying the airplane anyway

I have the miz "The Helicopter War Sept 17.miz" I place my Mig 21 in a proper parking spot, for the Russian side, starting from the ramp, with client designated. I also tried it with Player designated. This mission also has UH-1's and MI-8's as clients. When I start the mission it always puts me in the MI-8 even though I choose the Mig 21 on the first screen. What am I not doing right? If I put a KA-50 in the miz it works perfect.

Well, got it down and parked anyway...

mine held on also. I deployed the chute came to a full stop with throttle at idle. I hit the button I have mapped to drop the chute and it stayed on until I hit the throttle to move the plane foreward. Gas on it after you hit the button and the chute will go away.
