Just a quick note, we had( I had) the same low FPS problem when the MI-8 first came out, I discovered it was because of the DCS Update. I uninstalled the DCS World, rebooted and reinstalled the newest version with update already incorporated and the FPS problem went away. On a SIDE NOTE the original post with the 2600K CPU this is an open architecture cpu hence the (K) you can overclock that badboy to 4.0 ghz and above if you have the cooling system to handle it....

Please, Please, Please When you make changes to the manual, please create a Page I to List the pages that changes are made on. I ask because I print the manual and it gets tedious to have to reprint the whole manual when changes are made and since I am in between jobs:cry: I can not afford a tablet at this time. It would help me a lot and I'm guessing probably some others also. Thanks:thumbup:

I guess quick collective adjustment is the cause of the system going off. I am using the Warthog and the slightest movement of the throttle (collective) creates to much result in the VVI so I am winding up chasing the VVI on landing which is causing the SAS to turn off. I will play with curves and saturation and see if I can get a handle on this hardware to software thing. Thanks for the input!

I put the Autopilot fix in and the lights come on. I realize it is actually a stability system but why when I make a quick control input does the lights go off and I loose the stability system?

When I was on H-53's we had to taxi away from small aircraft or we would blow them away lifting into a hover which at times would produce a 200 mph downwind.:pilotfly:

Hi, I updated to the latest 127 version with the auto updater but no longer have guages in the overhead panels. I re-applied the english mod but it still did not help. has anyone else run into this?

When I first got the MI-8 my Frame Rate went down to 10. I uninstalled everything and reinstalled it all fresh and the problem went away.

Sorry I did not make my request plain... By fix I was requesting that perhaps they could implement it within the next 2 patches. I have no idea how ADF would work except for how they have it setup on the Huey, I am not a pilot I just love the sim. In the interest of using the missions that have been setup for the Huey, there are some great ones :D, I was hoping a version of ADF would be compatible to How the ADF works in the Huey. According to this and many other post there is an ADF in the works for the MI8 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114903&highlight=adf The Doppler system is great for point to point but not for finding a downed pilot broadcasting on an ADF channel. Perhaps if one of the mission guru's setup a miz to give coordinates to the downed pilot then we could use the doppler system. But until then I am just wishing,:) while enjoying flying the marvelous HIP:D Sorry for any misunderstanding in my initial post :doh:

Just hoping you can make the ADF radio work like the Huey soon. it is a major hold up to flying some great miz made for the Huey.:D

Update... It appears to only be crashing with that one mission, so I deleted the mission. it was a great mission but changes to the code might require it to be redone...I'm just guessing as I have no idea about such things. I was just flying, I have never had any crashes before the last update:music_whistling:this is the output... Hi, I copied all the dds files like it said but when I started the sim all I had was an all black cockpit with no textures guages or anything, just a black panel outlined. Disregard this post I figured it out. Thanks a million for doing this MOD!

You want to have more great fun with this mission open it and put the MI-8 in it and fly that in a hover or put the KA50 in it and fly that. it works fine for me when I put a different heli in it.:thumbup:

Hi Wolle, The only thread I found for radio help was http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=113242 I read the manual and I have not been able to get the AM or FM or ADF radio to work. I am expecting them to fix that on the next patch because so many people are talking about it. I expect they are working on... English Cockpit Rearm and Refuel Radios functionality Not necessarily in that order :huh: Great job on that mission though looking forward to when you can get it fixed for the MI-8. I kind of wish they would have coded in a 2d pop up window for radios like FSX does, may not be realistic but it sure is functional:) Have a good trip!

YEA we now have weapons :cheer3nc: I changed them from transport to ground attack and gave them a full load because I do not know how to get the weapons loaded on when they are set as Transport:doh: I am wondering if we changed to unlimited fuel in the options if that would be a workaround for a while...I wish they had unlimited ammo also:gun_rifle: Under Options menu then the Game play tab you can set unlimited fuel and unlimited weapons!
