  1. Got my seat and its great. Vibrations are spot on I had to even reduce them a bit. Minor minus point is the motor is a bit noisy but if you use headphone no issue at all. VR immersion went up a lot. Its also way cheaper than my SimVibe Chassis mode in my SimRacing Rig where I had to buy 4 mini lfe basshaker and a quadchannel amp along with a second soundcard. So big thumbs up. ALso 10 out 10 for the software. It was basically plug and play. Took me 5 minutes and it directly recognbized the hardware and launched the Harrier profile.
  2. Also placed my order on Andres shop and cancelled from Gametrix.eu. Hope they don't mind but seems like Andre is doing a good job here and deserves some more orders :)
  4. Many people are taken off just sitting in fron of a monitor as it just diesnt feel like the real thing. VR will change this. Soon people will be able tu physically turn the knobs and turn the buttons. People who never game will start and want to learn how to fly. With monitors even in a cockpit and with triple screen its still a big layer of abstraction. Some genrations VR later this layer of blockage will completely disappear. The knly thing missing from being real will be g forces. Howebpver sim shakers and motion can trick the brain at least better in vr then on monitors.
  5. Hi texac. Thank you for the link. I did miss this.
  6. The Titan V was just announced. May be it can handle deferred shading and msaa in VR at SS 1.5
  7. THIS is what I want tot hear and as long as you guys support VR I will basically buy all new modules which even have my slightest interest. VR will push DCS to complete new dimensions and I am sure user base will explode once quality from HMD and performance from Sim will match (and when you can turn the switches in VR using your hand...) When people realise they can really fly at home...
  8. I plan to attach sim shakers to my obutto rev cockpit. Now I have two reckhorn bs200 spare from my sim racing cockpit. Is it better to have two or just one installed? Two would be left and right on the seat and 1 just below the seat. Amp is a fame quad amp as its used mainly for sim racing with 4 shakers. Are there benefits having 2 speaker? Main DCS sound comes from a usb interface, the mainbord soundcatd is used for the shakers.
  9. I disagree with the posts before. DCS relies on single thread and ryzen is oarticularily subpar in that section. DCS will 4un best on high clocked Intel CPUs. Ryzen is agood for the money CPU no doubt but if you want to maximize DCS or even gonVR its nit the first choiceame goes for Threadripper which is irrelevant for gaming but a good work powerhouse if your apps can jtilize many threads. There is a lot of emotional based recommendation biased going on all over the internet which has nothing to do with benchmarks and hard facts.
  10. Yes 40% on the modules. I will buy teh Blackshark2. Just the checkout is super slow at the moment.
  11. I had the issue yesterday in the Huey. Firing the gun: stutters as hell..
  12. I have similar issues with VR and a 6700k at 4700 mhz and titan x pascal at 2050 mhz. One trail Imfound was that quite often the mhz do start to dip way below the turbo boost on the gpu for no reason even tho in the nvidia settings i called for always prefer max performance. mazpy be ed can look into this. Its very annoying to even drop below asw 45 fps on a high end rig where other titles run crazy gfx 90 fps without the hint of an issue
  13. Great explanation. I understand.
  14. Not sure this has been posted yet:
  15. Hi guys, There are 2 different key commands I can bind: - Force Trim - Pilot Trim Can someone explain the difference and when to use what?
  16. See official news. No update today due to problems.
  17. Exactly my plan! Up and down... Ever so gently up and then dooown.
  18. Best thing here: performance must have been improved that they show normandy in VR!!! Plus I love the fact they put VR to show of their stuff. The way simulation is menat to be played. But why they put the stick to the right, will break a bit of immersion it always kills me if the stick is not where it should be in VBR :)
  19. E3 should open its dors soon right? Its liuke close to 9 am there I guess now. Someone run to the TM booth and stream live everything there is D
  20. VR is the best thing that ever happened to the sim genre.
  21. No gskill trident z for example have 4*16gb 3600mhz kit which i strongly consider at the moment
  22. Sometimes tho I wish the developers would comment on this and give a bit of a guidance alkso in respect of the planned future. Same goes for cores. i wonder if DCS world would make use of more than 4 cores and 8 threads. I am thinking on upgrading to X299 with quad channel memory and a 8 or 10 core cpu but only if games like DCS will benefit...
  23. Looks like more a space ship Hotas which makes sense with all the Star CItizen hype at the moment lets see
  24. Yes I think its n ot about fps the question is do you get less of these occassional stutters which are due to reloading.
  25. Thank you for tersting this a bit toutenglisse. Looks like there is no real clarity of RAm above 16GB in the community and if it helps reducing studder or is not even used at all or necessary at this point.
