  1. hey bumping the thread. the problem with the cockpit lights is, its behavior is bound to the time of day, but not to the ambient light. cockpit lights are on before 7 am and off after 7 am. check the sample mission. set time to 6:59 am and fly. then set 7:00 and fly. (with spitfire) also set month to any summer month and repeat changing the time of day. amiens_landing.miz
  2. Although it's not modelled, the outer compass ring can drift inadvertently during flight. The claw like metal is for tightening the ring.

  4. after ejecting canopy, ejected canopy is replaced with an open canopy in pilots fov. below two pics, same plane.

  6. this happened twice in a row in this mission. hot start on ground, short flight in freezing temperature, engine degrade and subsequent damage beyond repair and prop seizure. engine_degraded.trk
  7. skin looks good. but none of the lights on the dashboard are working with this. and the text on attitude indicator ball should have more contrast. ball is grey, text is greyish.
  8. i once set up a dusk ww2 mission. dark. german and american half tracks met face to face on the road with their headlights on. they decided to pass each other without firing. it could easily be a bloodbath. it was a gentleman's pass.

  10. Ai wingman. For Ed modules, ai wingman tend to replicate my ext lights state. Not in F4 though. I can see my lights in f2 view. No wingman light in f2.
  11. formation light works for my plane. but my wingman does not turn on external lights at night time. they go completely dark. is this a bug?
  12. nulljester menu wont include some atc in some maps. they are usually military bases. i had this problem in persian gulf map also. in this mission, i took from anderson afb from coldstart. jester menu didnt include anderson for take off procedures. also for landing.

  15. When gun is fired, shouldn't we see ejected casings from the plane? Where does the sabre release the casings IRL?

  17. there is undocumented new logic for ai warbirds in the patch. ai does some energy dogfighting. before, i could easily kill any ai with spitfire. now it extends and do a chandelle or flat instantaneous turn for a head on pass.
  18. .it bleeds albeit very very slowly. it took ages to drop it by 100 psi. lots of flap operation.
  19. it was not in the changelog. i found out by chance. but you may observe the behavior by setting up a mission with two ai planes. one spitfire against a mustang maybe.
  20. last update, they introduced a new behavior for faster ai planes. for example a p51 will try to extend away from a spitfire for a while then turn for a head on snapshot pass.
