Labels, buttons, etc. I will reply to all that when time permits. Sorry I promised it a few days ago but no chance. I will when I finally get to it. -
Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System
AeroGator replied to UIV's topic in VKB-SIM Flight Gear
This project is our top priority for this year. This is not to give any promises, but we will focus our effort on making it happen this year. A lot of work, a complex project, but it is already entering production stage. -
Within a month, maybe less, Matt and the lead tester at DCS office will receive the samples of this joystick, and I believe this will help in making optimized profiles for the birds you mentioned.
-
Thanks a ton! I couldn't have done it better.

If your buy was an MCG or MCG Pro, the yes, it left us for the States on Friday.

Programming: Not sure what you meant by "Does anyone know how to have TM Target Script ignore the WH joystick? I think I can write that into the header but it doesn't hurt to ask you guys if someone has done it successfully and left the TM Throttle active". Please explain. Not sure we will be able to help in programming your TM product, as our approach to programming is principally different; user doesn't have to know any programming language and can simply configure/map desired functions to controls of his choice. But anyway, I will answer better when I know exactly what you meant above. We are working on FAQ so maybe it will help, too. Talking springs, if you like strong resistance on your controls you can install #30 cams and #40 springs (or even double it), and the feeling will be even stronger than that of a TM joystick - but maybe systematic workouts in a gym could pump up your muscles better! :joystick:

Yes.

1 - Have you altered anything at all in basic configuration? 2 - What are the numbers of buttons that you see pressed when you move the [left analog] slew? What you see is certainly not a problem and does not mean anything is wrong, just the configuration needs some clean-up.
-
A quick update: there was no feedback from us in 2 days as we were preparing a shipment to the US which finally happened, and nearly a full truckload was collected on Friday from our facility. Now there is only something like 15 to 20 more individual parcels, and all our pre-orders will have been served. Your questions: will be answered today and tomorrow. Programming: will (hopefully) be explained in a FAQ we are going to sit down to write as soon as I'm done with coffee and posting up this very message. Patience, people ;)

Vintage - what it is, fully explained There is no such word as "never". Some day anything can happen. For now and for foreseeable future, this Vintage model is a concept. As a concept, it might some time be developed into a serial model. Or, not be developed. Or, be replaced with another concept. Or, be edited beyond recognition. At the moment the only thing it is is a concept. One of several. What you see in the picture is no more than outer shell. There might be nothing inside, under these metallic texture. Or, there might be a well thought over set of internals. In this particular case it is the latter. This concept may already be moved up to production department. Which, of course, does not mean its immediate serial manufacture. It only means the beginning of another many month long period of working on this project before the first samples start showing up. But there are yet no plans to go ahead with it. Someone asked us whether we had ever thought of making a throttle control system for piston planes. This picture is a good illustration to the answer, which is yes, we had. And we still do. So, maybe - some day. We keep thinking about piston aviation, and more control systems for the planes of that era. Something will come their way. Sooner or later. When we finally get to the point of making a throttle control unit for piston planes, this concept will be on the shortlist, together with a few others.

1 - A bit too busy today to carry out all I promised, so just briefly: - we were considering it at the beginning, and it looked possible, not so much now, BUT do not despair we requested the factory right 10 minutes ago. there is a chance they say yes. will reply to you either later tonight, or some time tmrw. 2 - Same, morgen morgen nur nicht heute - either tmrw, or a day or two later we will post up a drawing with dimensions. Can;t firmly promise exact day but just "as soon as we ship out the last remaining pre-orders". Which is real soon. Do _not_ hesitate to remind me. I do tend to forget things like this, so don't feel embarrassed.

Oops I'm too late. Good it works though.
-
Anyone - can't. I - can. Tomorrow.
-
I can see it received but the sales people are off already due to time difference. You will get their reply tomorrow.

:music_whistling: and how am I supposed to guess what country you are from?.. :music_whistling: Anyway. Generally speaking, YES - the DHL truck is coming to our facility Friday morning. That will draw a line under like 99.5% of all pro/pro pre-orders. Hope, you fall in this number :) Have fun!

In your situation (Kuwait) you might as well try buying directly from China. What stops you from contacting the sales team? Go to the site, then follow the directions in attachments.

Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System
AeroGator replied to UIV's topic in VKB-SIM Flight Gear
Information from the kitchen comes in due time. Kicking the kitchen door never helps in getting dinner served earlier. Just leaves marks on the door. See, so the problem of looking for an ideal solution is solved. Absolutely understand you and appreciate your interest. Key words are - as you extremely precisely put it - at some point. Wrong. I never showed the render. Someone (who spoke no Russian) shared a (taken out of context) render he had seen at a Russian forum. Which was shown there as a half-joke, like "look, we also toyed with something like this". Any car manufacturer has hundreds of designs of absolutely breathtaking cars, out of which only one or two finally make it to the customers. (I don't believe I really have to explain this). And I am answering, more than once, that the announcement will be posted as soon as time comes. It was confirmed, also more than once, that the mounting system is on our plans. Pounding me with the same question will not speed up anything. Please don't hesitate to ask about other things, otherwise please stay tuned for updates. Which will be posted up "at some point". -

You really think multiple posting works? -
Just to clarify something, it is a mock render, which has never seriously been planned for production. One of "maybe some day" projects that every good designer has in numbers. (sorry Sokol it might be a good joke to post it, but it'd better be kept till 1 April). Please do not see it as an official announcement or any sort of promise. :joystick:

Still on holiday and will not check in for another few days; just a quick update: EU, yes, has been a pain logistically. New models have always been later to EU than NA. We are thinking about how to lay the end to it but this is tomorrow. Talking about today's situation, a large shipment is being prepared to sail off to EU in the middle of January. It will be enough to carry out all existing orders, plus stock up a storage worth probably half a year sales volume. EU customers can order from China, and they do occasionally, but then they have to deal with the tax and all that mess themselves, which as they very soon discover, is no big fun.
