  1. Normally you would find the FW on VKB ftp server in FW section. If the version you're looking for is not there, it might be for a reason: perhaps, we found something in it that we thought should not be there. Besides, the version you mentioned is outdated, please get the newest one! You can find it there, just follow the link. P.S. Please take the information below with maximum care. 1 - Beta versions of some FWs can be found here. Configurators - here. 2 - Trying any of the betas you automatically accept all risks and remove any responsibility from us. We are not inviting more beta testers (nor are we turning them away), so if you decide to try, please register yourself at our forum. We only discuss beta issues there, not at any other forum. 3 - For all betas issued since the beginning of February, 2018, you need the new Z-Bootloader 1.10. Summarizing these 3 points: yes there are beta FWs; try them at your own risk; only do so if you are registered at our own forum; get a new z-bootloader.
  2. Real Pilots Testing VKB Gunfighter + MCG There are few things more valuable feedback-wise than an opinion of a professional flier. Here, the Gunfighter+MCG user [who flies nearly everything that flies for a living] shares his impressions. I can only say... thank you Max for sharing, and thank you our customers for supporting us and helping us make this happen! :pilotfly:

  4. Although this product is fully sold out in Europe we still have some (quite limited) stock of Gladiator non-PRO in China. Not many though. Sales of the Gladiators non-PRO will stop when we sell them all out. Gladiators PRO are now out of stock but we will still make the farewell batch in late March. After this batch is sold out, it will be officially done. The replacement, preliminarily called Gladiator NG (for New Generation), is in design stage. It's too early to talk about the time it will be marketed.
  5. There is a dedicated Gladiator thread at this forum. This thread is all about MCG. I replied to you in the proper thread. Best, AeroGator
  6. Correct me Don if I'd got it wrong, but I remember you had made an order, then cancelled it, then made an order again, right? Well, if you hadn,t cancelled your first one, you'd be happily flying, shooting, and bombing full time by now. The cancellation moved you to the end of the queue. Not our bad will, right? (yes the queue sucks as such, and knowing this we've made it our target for this year to eliminate any queues and out-of-stocks. but seriously, you haven't heard anything about people queuing for weeks for new iPhones?) :pilotfly:
  7. Wait a sec, where do you see anything we could call a mess? Seriously?
  8. Plastic parts inside GunFighter Thanks for bringing the forum attention to those plastic parts. They are called dry clutches and sure you don't see them elsewhere. Because it is our own gift to the community - something that VKB designed and made public domain. Needless to say, those plastic parts are coming in addition, not instead of, steel cams. Below you can see what it is for. Below is a joystick without dry clutches. Talking nuclear war, not sure, but quite likely both will survive it more or less intact. I wouldn't say it is particularly fair to compare a all-in-one WWII-style 200 USD joystick to a prosumer modern/futuristic device coming for twice as much.
  9. MANUAL HERE Please make sure you have enough coffee to read it all through. Might be a bit sticky-stucky but it will definitely help. Also (blush) please PM me any suggestions if you think its English could be streamlined somewhere, I haven't checked it prior to posting. Please people take it seriously - this Manual is written to be read by all 100% of fliers.
  10. To everyone wondering about some buttons' functions, triggers and alike - please wait, we are testing the new FW that would answer most of your Qs and probably widen the functionality a lil bit. Hope it can go live before weekend USA time. There is some news in the Manuals department, in other words we are preparing some good reading for your weekend, too :book:
  11. Megathanks to Sokol Sokol we often clash but this doesn't change the fact you're a great man and I'm so grateful to you for the support you are doing here. We needed (still will need in nearest future) to go around the factories this weekend, there is some fever coming as the Chinese New Year approaches, and so on and so forth - so much to do in so short time. No words to say how much I appreciate your involvement.
  12. Thanks Colonel, we appreciate your trust. And we will be here in case you need support (a bit lame in recent few days but we're back) :robot:
  13. Yes we don't because it is a beta at the current stage. Beta is released on "as is" basis. We add something to the controller's functionality every so often. However the official release comes after a full round of tests and trials is complete. Which can take days, or months - depends on a zillion variables. Once again, in short: the official release is only published when beta turns into final, not before.
  14. FIRMWARE UPDATE Please pilots update your BlackBoxes here. Sorry for asking you to do it so often. Hope you understand it's in our best interests, yours and ours. :smartass:
  15. Good point  Well, we are NOT going to mass produce them. As I said there will be individual orders, not that we will make any to be available off the shelf. We will take orders if there are any, and the lead time will be cr 1 month. Something like this.
  16. 1 - some time 2018. 2 - by accident, our throttle control main unit has dimensions identical to those of the TM. other products, other companies - no idea.
  17. PLEASE UPDATE FW To all users: Please update the FW. It can be downloaded from here.
  18. Nope no plans for serial production. Individual enthusiasts' orders can be carried out on one by one basis; the grip will be made by machining a solid chunk of metal and will cost around US$ 1,200. Orders will open in April.
  19. The solution there can be found obviously by taking the same steps as advised in the post Sokol referred you to, and answering the same question. Please do in via PM, as I might be too busy these couple of days to read the forum topics, but will definitely check the PMs.
  20. We will announce it here, so you guys will know it as soon as we're ready to tell. Twist is in production stage (it does not mean that the factory is busy right now making it; it means that the designers are not busy with it any longer and have passed it to the production engineers). I would think some news might go live around 1 of April, nice timing, huhh?
  21. I wouldn't give a lot for your life when/if a cook went berserk. Seriously. Don't screw with cooks, nurses and cleaning personnel. However, HOLD STRONG FOR VKB STRONGHOLD Modern cockpit should be made in style. Here is a modular (as everything from VKB) comprehensive solution that will fit any desk or table, offer enough adjustments and extensions to support any control equipment from one joystick to full space command post, and will be compact enough to be neatly stored when not in use. Please note: this is NOT an official announcement. We are working on it, and will produce it rather sooner than later, however there is no set timetable. Everything will come in due time.
  22. You might want to do it once again today, as family matters are dragging me away from going ahead with writing this. But probably no more.
  23. Don I know it wasn't an easy decision, and we appreciate it and thank you for giving our product a chance. Let me whisper it in your ear: think how long you could bear it without a mount. If you think you could for some time, then you might want to quickly cancel the MT order. No, I'm not pushing; no, I'm not luring you into anything. But you might see some announcement tomorrow that theoretically might shift your focus a bit away from MT. :music_whistling: (I posted this literally from bed, so there will be no more news till tmrw, sorry people)
  24. Everything is worth reporting, thank you. Even if this glitch is machine-specific, and no one else reports it - we're better off knowing it than not. OK, what you can do in this situation? - you can roll back to the previous version of the VKBDev utility, as anyway you know how to default the system, and this little simplification doesn't mean too much to you. Important is the new FW. I will bring your report to the attention of the VKBDev guys. Thanks!
