  2. F-14 forum is under licensed third party projects - heatblur simulations - f-14. Literally 240 users there now and its been there for a long time. Easy to overlook as its not on the upper list with the Eagle Dynamics modules. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  3. I do agree with you they should definitely add "Lot 20" to the store page ad to prevent this sort of thing from happening again. Super wasteful of our time yes? Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  4. +1 The dude is making a load of assumptions based on?...... Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  5. Ok cool sorry dude but they do advertise it as the F-18C LOT 20 which = what we have in the sim. Not sure what further griping is going to achieve? I hate trolls, I'm just frustrated with forum posts about people complaining about things that could have been resolved by clicking on the hornet mini updates thread and reading it from the beginning. Ok peace. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  6. My bad I misread the chart. So ailerons and horizontal tail trimmed as one. Gotcha. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  7. So we should be trimming stabs not ailerons then? Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  8. USMC hornets operate on Navy carriers. Also using the mod for ILS is good enough for my CF-188 livery. If they modelled systems considering what every countries export model has equipped it would be a bit nutty on EDs end. Example being the fact that the RCAF doesn't even operate the charlie hornet and is an upgraded version of the alpha bug with a sniper pod. Also they've said a million times that we are using the 2005 US Navy/USMC model and the additional liveries are merely a bonus. This model and lot number is literally that. Do your homework bud! 9. I took this from a photo of double ugly online and did my test with this: 1 - aim 9x 2 - gbu-12 3 - gbu-12 4 - aim 120c (in place of tgp) 5 - fuel tank 6 - aim 120c 7 - fuel tank 8 - gbu-12 9 - aim 9x Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  10. I the Sim if you don't trim with double ug it feels like you're going to rip off the cat sideways and you're rolling hard as soon as you leave the deck. I would think you'd want to trim for that out a bit. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  11. And many thanks for that! Once you wrap your head around how it works it's the only way to use mods. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  12. Tested "double ugly" cat launches today, sans targetting pod of course. You really need to dial in the correct amount of aileron trim to keep straight on launch. Any sort of guide or rule of thumb on this? Was around 24 - 36 on FCS page for aileron trim difference. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  13. Please read threads before posting. I posted the link for the mod here already. Regarding having to reinstall you should look into using OvGME for your mods. Easy to enable and disable pre and post update. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  14. No problem, all sorted then? Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  15. Request rearming. Load out screen appears. Right click the boxes under said pylons, drop down box will appear. Select missle, you'll see options to click on AGM 65s or AGM 88. Click the AGM 88. Rinse and repeat until you're loaded up and hit ok. Another option is to create the loadout in the mission editor and it will be available in the loadout menu for quick access. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  16. Are you making sure to launch dcs from the open beta install bin folder? Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  17. Load the individual pylons. Select the four underwing pylons, amg88 is under the missile category. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  18. Because a split S is an S split in half? Same thing different word. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  19. Whoa take it easy now... [emoji14] Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  20. Still a great movie. WILSON!!!! Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  21. Longest missle evasion scene of all time. Gonna say its hollywood embellishment. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  22. You know what I now realise I misread your original post. I thought you were saying that you were unable to have the 83 detonate at 70ft with latest update. Not the other way around. My bad dude! I wish I could check the track but if your rad alt was off I assume the computer would have been using your barometric altitude for dud reference. That's assuming your altimeter wasnt set for the area you were flying in. Therefore giving you wacky dud cue altitudes. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  23. Also if you're planning to drop below 600ft you should be using snake eyes or balutes. The last OB update to the dud logic was supposed to correct said dud logic. Seems legit no? It was designed to protect the pilot (and the multimillion dollar airframe) from dropping too low and fragging you. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  24. Did you actually survive dropping mk83 @ 70ft agl???? Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
  25. There is also the option of learning to do the IFR TACAN approach to airfield plate minimums. Which also isnt that difficult after you learn the numbers. Similiar to civilian VOR IFR approach. Sent from my LG-H812 using Tapatalk
