Ok thanks for your answer Urbi. Yep, some planes uses 4096px textures, but multiples "4096px files" can be used for one full part of the plane. I hesitated to do that but it's not possible...Doing this mean to access the 3D models and remake the UVW map...And it's not possible. So i think i will simply use the original one and upsize it in 8196x8196px, even if it's heavy. I know it is possible with a .psd file...But i didn't know DCS can support such resolution in .dds. So ok. And thanks Clorydric for ur advices ;) That will help me !

Hi, In DCS, textures's files are max in 4096px in .DDS. I want simply to know if DCS World can support files more than this size (in .dds format) ? Thanks for your answer ;) ++

Thank you for your answer Decoy ! I wait and see. And whatever, thank you for all your work already done to your modules :) --- You right ! :) After, even if they are not exactly the same, the 2000C and the 2000-5 are very similar (in exterior). Work on one can serv both of them.

Hi, i wanted to know. Do it's planned that the Mirage receive some new exterior HD textures (and maybe 3D model) ? The new cockpit is so great (and thanks !), but now, the Mirage look old and "low" def texturing compared to others planes. Thanks ;)

Ok, i asked in case of but it's not what i search ;) For exemple, in the F-16 tutorial, the fuel valve is aldready on and the bleedair is already on normal (not the case with the F-18, where it is off and need to be clicked). So the 16 is (apaprently) not fully cold and dark because some buttons ar ready yet where it's not the case with all planes (even in tutorial). It's not a big deal anyway, i just love to make full rempstart :music_whistling:

Hi ! :) I don't know where to ask it and didn't want to open a subjectif or this : How to configurate the F-16 in cold and dark (to make the full "real" rampstart)? I think he is not in this configuration "by default" because apparently it's not needed to click on the fuel and airbleeds buttons (for exemple). Thanks ;)

The reworked cockpit look great ! Thanks for this work. I can not wait the 2000-5 also ! ;) But it's so cool that the C is not forgoten and is still updated at all the lvl :)

Ho yeah, a -5 is so cool (fox 3, datalink, etc). But a multi-crew Mirage, mean the D will be super cool also :)

Great news ! Thanks Razbam to update our Mirage :) I take the opportunity to say that if there are funny "requests" for a Mirage 2000-D on the Heatblur's forum ... Razbam would be better placed to make it through their contact with the AdA, yep ? I know theire is no Mirage 2000-D planned at all from anyone. Its' a question ;)

Some plane are more visible than the Mirage, but maybe DCS don't help, i don't know.

Hi, In verry close view, lights looks good, but from 30/50 to any other distances, the lighs of the Mirage are really weaks... There is a Mirage on this screenshot (and not that much far, something like 100/200m) : Almost invisible... It is very disabling during the navigation phases on patrol at night...Or simply navigation. Maybe i forgot a fonction about the lights power ? ++

Yes, for example, it's not rare to ear that's not normal (or maybe a bug) that the radar unlock it target online ... When it can be simply explained by beaming, ECM or ground echo paraziting accorded to the performance of the "old" RDI Radar...As Jojo implied (i think, he will correct me if iam wrong). One day, online, i heard someone who said that he meeted a problem with the jettison button on the Mirage that push itself alone ... After seeing his replay, it was simply over-G safety, modelised on all modules... About the unlock "bugs" they speak about, i also have it...But, when i think twice about when it happen, it can be the moment i launch the missile, in the middle of it's course, or at the end...But i remember much my frustration when it happen in the moment i launch the missile... So, it's easy to say "bug", not easy to know it... I didn't say that their's no bugs. For sure bugs are real XD ! I simply said sometimes ppl lake the opportinuty to simply ask, suspect, or stay quiet, and must stop seeing bugs everytimes theires expectation about "how it must be in my opinion" are not answered. I don't say it is beaming or ECM. I say maybe it is ! Maybe that is a sh*** bug. But if it's not, someone suspect a bug... when in fact it's simply called...realism... It's also possible. And if all the 3rd dev need to answer everyone who say "bugs !", they will pass theire time to manage a community in case of fixing bugs that are already known and waiting to be fixed... I think my sentence was not clear... I meaned that : sometimes, what ever a dev do, it's "bad" for the customers...When it's simply the best a dev can do, the possible...And : what ever the dev (Razbam or others, as ED, Heatblur, who you want). I admit my sentence was not clear ;) For me the best 3rd dev teams are Heatblur and ED/Belsimtek. But i also appreciate Razbam. And others.

Yep, and also, if we put on Razbam the responsability for some bugs that are not bugs, but simply realism...They will never satisfy the community...(in clear, community will never satisfy itself). That doesn't mean theire is no bugs and lack in the Mirage (theire is)...It mean simply that realism for such univers is not necessary well known or conciderated as it must sometimes, and most of us (i put myself in this, i made the mistake multiple of times), conciderate some problems as bugs, when it's not necessary bugs...But simply the "best" realism that a 3rd dev team can do with theire own limits (and datas limits) and the limits of DCS itself.

Hello guys, Ho ? Ok ! Recent (more than 4 to 11Go) VRAM 3D card are maybe too powerfull to be affected. --- This TWO mods should be done by ED ! :D The one that fix the "grid effect/repetition stripes" (in.zip) don't pass the integrity check...can not play online with it. ED need to wake up about this ! And we all know it is fixable :D The cosmetic one, that increase the quality/def of the ground texture pass it :) -

I really don't undertsand why ED don't do the same, it's a mod in only one .lua file...And it will increase hardly the texture quality for everyone, without risking a integrity check. With the same FPS... Also for the "repetition stripes" mod, that is not already fixed, but was fixed by Mustang long time ago. But i'm scared that this mod (repetition) don't work well, cause ED updated lot of textures since this mod was created by Mustang. ++ -

Hello, I'm sorry to up this thread. But, i just wanna say how crazy is the (simple ?) mod from Mustang about increasing the texture rendering in DCS ! So, an existential question came to my mind : why Eagle Dynamics don't make the same and adopt this change ? If it's "simply" a moddification in an .lua file, why not ? It's maybe very fast to do, and i will increase the experience of everyone ! I also didn't noticed any FPS changement... Look : This is really, really better... Thanks Mustang ! So, i have a question for Mustang, if you accept to anwser it, don't feel forced : can you say to me what is the line code you changed in the "terrainoptions41.lua" file to get this ? I wanna play and try different values with this, for personal use only. If you know where is the line to increase the visual range (terrain, world view distance) i take it also ;) Thanks ++ -

Yep... Only inside the cockpit and only through the glass, the sun and it light look like not affected by atmosphere over all, and even some meshes. Outside view (F2/F3 and others), everthing goes in place and is ok... :
