Need a bit of help I can put different skins in other airframes but for some reason not in the Huey I may be doing it wrong(doh) how is it done

Buddy of mine has this problem I posted it in F-5 section but thought it might really belong here in case it the way its done that's the problem; TACAN Volume Knob does not work. I can bind a controller rotary to it, but it doesn't do anything, does not cause the knob to visually turn. It will work with mouse but not when bound to X-55

I would do that but, I am not good with that kind a thing and you are correct that's the answer I got from DCS in 2.5 with trees his view is blocked

yes I no I spelled weapons wrong fat fingers. Was our mistake Binding for guns was changed with update sorry

Not sure if this helps I have a Thrustmaster warthog and had lots of trouble with Huey till it took out all curves and used right throttle for collective set to a slider and reversed it so as I pull up it increases. Also set the tension rather high so its smoother I do go about 1/2 way up slowly and as soon as it starts to move I let go then stabilize hover well stabilize is maybe not the correct word for it ............

this will probable be taken as a waste of space or has already been listed I know not but, I would like a proper set of interactive training lessons like with F-5, SU-25 and A-10C

OK thanks for the info. I thought that it would be on windscreen without fold down sight, were and when I got that idea I know not.

Yup only copied the dds files but since I am a complete opposite of a computer geek probably not doing it properly

I have same issue don't matter what I do I still get camo on English version I am pretty sure I followed manual method as in read me

I tried as in the video but still in camo guess will need to use the default cockpit

why does the cockpit look this I uninstalled and reinstalled made no difference :helpsmilie:

Not sure if this helps but, I had curve set to 25 on stick then read some were not to use curve or dead zone so, I put them back to no curves I can now get in rudimentary hover only a foot movement left or right

I appreciate the spelling correction being pointed out even if question was not answered in that post and what I meant was I thought there a reticle projected on pilots windscreen without sight having to being put down or is it only the swing down sight

I ran the weapons training mission to day followed instruction pushed M for site and its the co-pilots site that comes down there is no radical on pilots windscreen and RIGHT CTRL does not lower pilots site as it should

This fixed ran mission to day no problem with this now

Problem solve Pilot Error some how active pause was on and I did not notice it

There are no chock I checked (F2 view) and crew chief says can not comply when asked to remove chocks and there are no park brakes on F-5 I am doing nothing different tonight than I have done in the past

Why I know not but tonight tried to use F-5 in a down loaded mission and in a training mission one from cold start one from on runway and it will not move I sit there in full burner going no were. This only started tonight????

I ware progressive lens but not in the head set and I can read well to the 11 and bit hazy at 12 did not change any settings just the same as in game

After reading this post I tried 90 and it makes it look like I am giant sitting in a toy then 70 a bit better then 50 and that's it for my I get a much more realistic cockpit it is more like I am actually in the seat
