Yes, AI gunners! Like in il2GB, if one player he could switch to bombardier/gunner stations when needed, if two players one is flying the plane while the other one is bombardier/gunner.

I would and i bet many would too since there is no decent sim providing bomber role. I would do the same with PTO while waiting for clickpit modules. Realistic FM, immersion and gameplay variety have priority over clickpit in my book when it comes to ww2 birds. In ww2 birds after startup there is not much need for clickpits, almost everything fits on hotas!

They don't need to be multicrew for 4,6 players.....that would be boring, two players are enough, pilot and copilot/bombardier. I would be happy even if they make them without clickpits like Flaming cliffs but with good FM.

I think there is enough fighters and fighter bombers, what is missing are flyable B25 and Ju88 (a17 torpedo bomber)!

I'd love to see flyable B-17, a dream come true, even if they make it flyable without clickpit. However if not possible as some stated above than B-25 would be perfect compromise that would fit well in Normandy and PTO. S!

By that logic there would be no game under 200$ out there. You ask to value your hard work while not valuing customers hard earned money (Normandy map case)!

I think size of the map is fine for ww2 props, question is quality of the map, optimization and content that fits into it! If it's like Normandy was (biggerst digital purchase regret i had) than i'll skip it, 40$ for map alone is greedy, add low quality and bad optimization and it's not worth buying until it gets fixed and on 50pc sale!

Couldn't agree more, right now their focus is all over the place making ww2 not so interesting in big picture. What you wrote above is perfectly said and planeset/map is perfect choice(Betty with torpedo yummy).

PTO would be a dream come true! Nice to see Corsair and Zero are in the works, map and carrier aswell but they need to speed up development a bit. PTO demand is quite high and market hungry as seen from PTO delay in il2. Dogfights Corsair vs. Zero alone will quickly become boring but adding pto ww2 assets (AI bombers, carriers, fleet), map, two fighters per side and torpedo carrying fighter/bomber some nice battles could be recreated. I just hope dcs PTO will go faster and better than Normandy!

I know, unfortunatelly! PTO can be a big seller for DCS since there is no competition on this theatre, at least for now and demand is big as seen when they delayed il2PTO.... They're gona need ww2 PTO assets (AI bombers, ships, carriers..), map, two flyable fighters and one bomb/torpedo plane per side to be able to recreate interesting battle. Ww2 MP would burst!

Corsair on the way, leak on Zero also....looking forward to it! PTO in VR is dream come true! I just hope they'll do it better, faster and with more content than they did Normandy. I have no interest in flying single plane cos of the plane, i'm more scenery guy so i hope they'll get on this one right, with nice map, carriers, destroyers, opposition planes, AI bombers and one torpedo carrying aircraft per each side. Nothing more fun and challenging than dropping torpedo and sinking destroyer/carrier. Many of us are waiting for modern PTO flight sim and this could be nice success for ED.

lol yeah! their product is great but WAITING is painful, looking forward to LH MCG and TECS in a two years (in EU). It's nice to see familiar faces from il2, cheers guys! S!

5-6 month ago i bought normandy map, spit, p51 and ww2 assets but didn't fly it much and uninstalled it due to shortage of free space on my ssd. Now i'm impressed by the look of 2.5 version so i decided to give it a proper go. Currently i'm downloading 2.5 beta and i have a few questions: 1.i'm interested in f18 but i have vkb gunfighter with kg12 grip modded for left hand (i'm lefty) so i'm still waiting for left hand version of vkb Modern combat grip, can i fly it with WW2 kg12 grip without being too unconfortable or should i wait L/H MCG to switch on modern jets? 2.Oh i want map from this video by any mean, so how it's called so i can purchase it? Thank you!
