  1. P-47D worked beautifully for me using the latest update!! Flew for about 90 mins, and all effects worked flawlessly... awesome work as always!! Thank you, f4l0!
  2. Hi f4l0! Just updated to SSA beta 1.3.10.13, and I am back in "Piston Beat Heaven" in the P-51... Thank you!! PS - Tested a few other piston modules, and all seems perfect with them as well... Cheers!
  3. Engine Rumble/Piston Beat in P-51 with 1.3.10.10 Hi f4l0! I updated without issue to 1.3.10.10, and things are working great! However, it seems the reworked Piston Beat effect that was added a few versions ago (I think 1.3.4), seems to have gone away. All other effects appear to work perfectly, but in level flight with no other sound events taking place, I no longer feel any engine rumble\piston beat in the P-51. I verified SimShaker config, and tried adjusting the strength effect, but it did not make a difference... also tried restarting DCS, computer, etc. Will try other modules, but hoping there is something I can check\tweak to wake up the P-51's awesome rumble. My setup includes a JetSeat, and a couple of Buttkickers (2.14 beta SSM) Any info greatly appreciated... Thank you!!
  4. Phil, Great video and review! Definitely getting this module... thx!!
  5. Yes!! All working well with the P-51D-30-NA using the latest beta (1.3.7.1)! However, I did see the same Sound Module issues described by Spectre1986... was unable to update\install the Sound Module beta, but running SSA beta with Sound Module 2.10 worked perfectly. Thank you!!
  6. Hi Andre, I just noticed that status for my shipment has updated! As of 4\28 it now shows “Passed registration in United States of America,” so it shouldn’t take too much longer. Thanks so much for everything you do... cheers!
  7. Issue with P-51D variants... I recall a couple of months back support was added for the P-51D-30-NA (same effects were used for both the 25 and 30). However, I just started some missions that include a P-51D-30-NA... when I pick the 30, I get the message seen in the attached, and no effects work... all works great with the 25. Minor issue, but wanted to point it out... thx!!
  8. Hi mazex, here is how I did just that with a Buttkicker Gamer 2. Not quite built-in to the stick, but the guns and especially the stall buffeting (plus many other vibrations) come thru beautifully! https://1drv.ms/u/s!ApoUzIqjahsnn9oEh4LXQxhkLbLhtg
  9. Hi Andre, I am able to track my shipment thru both Russian Post and USPS, but I see the same as Phantomflyer65… no updates since 3/20 when it was "Released from Russia." Can you submit a search request for my order as well? I will send you the tracking number for my order... thank you!!
  10. It is working great! Just flew the CEII and the P51 for about 30 mins each... zero issues to report! All effects working perfectly. Using SSA 1.3.5.0\SM 2.9 Beta (JetSeat FSE\Buttkickers) Thank you, Olaf!!
  11. Oh I see! I just took a look at the shortcut, and it has a small typo... the one created by the 2.9 Beta install is named “beata SimShaker Sound Module.” I renamed it to “beta SimShaker Sound Module” and the error in the log no longer appears. Thanks!
  12. Hi Andre, Thanks for the quick turnaround! I downloaded\installed the 2.9 Beta without issue, and took the CEII for 2 separate 10 minute flights starting everything from scratch. The "CSL exception:" error did not appear in the Sound Module log, the Sound Module did not require any restarts, and all effects worked perfectly. I'll definitely take a couple more\longer flights, but all seems to be working great! I did observe the following "red" text appear in the log anytime I started the Sound Module... It does not seem to impact anything, but thought I'd call it out: Thank you for using SimShaker software! Visit me at https://andres.shop to find more interesting offers! Happy flying :) 19:51:39.239 beta SimShaker Sound Module | Version 2.9 19:51:39.360 Could not find file 'D:\Users\Pilot\Desktop\beta SimShaker Sound Module.appref-ms'. Thank you!!
  13. Hi Andre, I have been flying for a couple of weeks with the JetSeat, SSA, Buttkicker, and Sound Module... it has been awesome!! I did notice that when using the latest SSA Beta and flying the CEII, if I send "Engine Rumble\Piston Beat" to the Buttkicker, the Sound Module's log fills up with the following: Thank you for using SimShaker software! Visit me at https://andres.shop to find more interesting offers! Happy flying :) 12:22:35.340 SimShaker Sound Module | Version 2.8 12:23:55.840 CSL exception: Source array was not long enough. Often, after a little while the Sound Module stops working until I restart it (JetSeat is not affected). If I set the "Engine Rumble\Piston Beat" to zero for the Buttkicker, the log stays clean, and all works perfectly. I have only seen this happen with the CEII which I understand was just recently implemented (Sound Module log stays clean in the P51\Yak), but thought I would point it out in case it had not been noticed... Hope this helps!!
  14. The engine effect in the CEII and Yak is truly spectacular! Please add it to the older planes... thank you, Olaf!
  15. Got my JetSeat FSE a few days ago... awesome addition to my setup!! Thank you Andre/Olaf for all you do! I have spent a few hours in the P51 adjusting the different effects... some effects are very strong while others are quite subtle. Leaving all effects at the same strength (either all at the default 50 or cranking them all up to 100) produces an overall good experience, but some of the effects seem to get lost, so I have experimented with each effect individually in an effort to come up with an optimized combination. Using the "Effects Monitor" while watching flight tracks was very helpful... the feature allowed me to "see" which effects I was feeling and which effects I wasn't feeling after making strength adjustments. Disclaimer: I am not a real pilot... I do have a few hours at the controls of several different prop planes, but my settings are just based on what I think each effect should feel like given my limited experience. Some tweaking left to do, but here is the combination of settings I am happy with at the moment: Afterburner/WEP: 50 - Still at default... have yet to test this effect. Cannon/Gun Fire: 75 - Just crank this up! Feels great at any strength Dashboard Shake: 50 - Didn't test this one much... still at default. Engine Rumble/Piston Beat: 65 - Great effect! But had to bump it up to feel it much unless at full power. At 65 I could feel it just enough at cruising MP/RPM. Flaps Movement: 95 - Very subtle/brief effect... couldn't feel it unless cranked to 90+ Gear Turbulence: 40 - Still playing with this one... seemed overly strong at 50, so lowered it a bit which helped improve "takeoff feeling" G Feeling Effect: Off - Interesting effect, but turned it off. Ground Bumps: 45 - The default 50 is fine, but definitely strong. I just took a little bit off it... even lower I could still feel bumps at pretty slow speeds. Ground Roll: 35 - This one seemed too strong at the default. It felt good at 35, and I could still feel that moment when the wheels come off the runway... so cool! Landing Gear Up/Down: 45 - Also just fine at the default Payload Release/Missile Launch: 35 - Not much testing with this one... lowered it enough to still feel it. Stall Shudders/Vortex Ring State: 65 - Bumping this one up a bit helped me feel it a little earlier in the stall Touchdown: 75 - Happens quickly... definitely wanted to feel it above the ground effects especially during a hard landing. With the P51 (and I assume all other warbirds) I feel adjusting engine rumble/gear turbulence/ground roll combinations enhance the overall experience... the gains are subtle, but worthwhile imo. I did spend a few minutes in the Yak-52, and it appears the effects will not need much tweaking... with all the settings at 50, effects didn't seem to contend with each other as much as in the P51. Really looking forward to more experimenting... this is all just too much fun! Hoping others post their configs/thoughts... cheers!!
  16. More prop fun... Purchased! Thank you, ED!!!

  19. Following these steps works beautifully for me in the Caucasus map in DCS 2.5... fairly smooth consistent takeoffs in the Spit, but I can't say the same when using the Nevada map! The Spit seems to respond very differently for me in that map... pulling very hard to the left, and minor rudder adjustments don't have the same effect... I find myself putting in a ton of right rudder, and letting go makes the plane go hard left. I have managed to takeoff a few times, but things feel very different. If I go back to the Caucaus map, all is good. Pretty sure it is not wind or any kind of weather conditions. Is it expected for a module to behave radically different between maps?
  20. Pre-purchased! I fly warbirds exclusively (mostly in single-player mode)... really looking forward to buzzing over the Persian Gulf! Map looks amazing!!
  21. Somehow the versions seem to be the same: https://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/ I did a fresh install of the release\stable version on a brand new computer, and the version number is the same as my other machine which is running the Open Beta. Folders on my fresh install do not say "Beta" anywhere, but both updaters return the same the same version number, and the same version number displays inside the simulator. Definitely a bit confusing.
