Restarted computer, and allowed several minutes to pass and then restarted DCS and all is well. Only thing I can think of that may have happen is after update I entered DCS to quickly and it did not fully update/install fully. All seems normal now.

I wish they could put a command in for AI aircraft where you can tell them to drop tanks, if there is one in the radio commands I'm not seeing it. I scheduled a two ship to a strike, give the guy 3 tanks of gas and 1 minute to Pre-IP I get a BINGO fuel call from my wingman. I make it on two tanks and make six or seven attacks and still make it back 300 lbs above BINGO because I had to strike his TGTs too, but he just can't hack it. How do Ai's manage there fuel needs a look or to they just seem to burn to much fuel. Having the drop tank command would help lead to maybe manage fuel better. We got the jettison weapons, what about a a./b. option with in the command, a. drop tanks/ (or) b. jettison weapons. I know the F keys are pretty filled up but maybe they can double up a few commands. Hell it might be in there (radio commands I mean) I never tried more than a wingman (SP).

The mouse strange behavior since Today update Hi guys besides the TDC problem (I have that too) I cannot turn dials with the mouse wheel. The radio dial spins out of control and stopping on the right channel is by chance. One click/ movement of the center wheel (the mouse) would move the Freq. one station now it is out of control. Along with that the radar altimeter dial will not move any more with the mouse, you can push the dial in for the check but you can't move the dial the same with the small artificial horizon it will not move anymore, has anybody else experienced that. All flew well last night, no problems, any answers or suggestions welcome.

Hi All, since the latest up date, the AMPCD seems out of focus, has anyone else experienced this? I got a update from NIVIDA and I thought it affected the scope so I changed to regular monitor graphic settings for the HP monitor and the AMPCD (color scope) is still out of focus. It appear the map is out of focus lettering is controlled with the sensor switch (upper right of the scope) If you know of a remedy give me a holler. WeakLink

Hey egalewings I been having a problem with go from Auto (CCRP) to CCIP. TGT 1 is in Auto program 1 and 2 tgt is in CCIP in program 2 but I cannot get the system to switch to program number 2? Looked a Wags video and still cannot get the system to go to program 2. Tried undesignated button and tried going to safe back to Arm. Pushed Program btn and even tried step it will not switch any guess on how to switch from Auto to CCIP and change the program to another release type?

Not totally familiar with the F/A 18 systems but I have a question on it, and this is a good place to start, With all of the advanced system in the jet is there not a system onboard that will create the ETA to the next waypoint or target or new waypoint inserted into the system? I can add the clock and projected ETA from the waypoint countdown, but I find it hard to believe that this jet does not include a HUD reference to the project ETA to point X. If this is so ( no project ETA to the point) wow! But if it is somewhere in the Chuck's manual and I have overlooked it, PLEASE pass it on. The count down timer and the count up timer is cool but the ETA to the next point would be a little more helpful at least to me. Just a personnel note we need that AMRAAM, no chance against the Mig 29A off subject, but just my two cents, Overall I love the model Kudo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey imacken maybe you can help me a few questions? If I have programmed my Warthog using DCS keybinds and hen design a script using the TARGET GUI (os) what will happen to my Keybinds in DCS? I mean does it erase all the work I put in to it? I take it when you say lever it is the center button on the warthog joystick behind the paddle switch, if this is so where are you going to put the FLIR pod when it comes on line if your shift modifier is that switch?

I noticed the same thing, I have it assigned to my L/G WRN silence button on the warthog throttle and have to push it twice to get it to activate.

Not a Multiplayer, wish I had the skills but for right now SP is the order of the day but I wish the developers could if possible put a delay in the start engine time. That is if the takeoff is 1000Hrs the mission start would be 15 mins before ( 0945) Takeoff. This would allow engine start up and system checkout and be able to make takeoff time a little closer to real. At the moment a Takeoff from the ramp puts me up to 12 minute behind the curve. I have been using unrealistic GS (in the flight plan for takeoff and climb out WP 1 and 2) to attempt a reasonable waypoint arrival time for climb out and then using airspeed and turn short to make up time. If you use on the RWY takeoff all is fine, with a 2-3 late arrival time but trying to get the engine start up and system checks done with takeoff from ramp is tough. Now it there is another way to stay on flight plan timing with a takeoff from ramp start please pass it on.

F2 not working I have had the issue from time to time but it seams if the menu is being displayed in the upper right hand corner of the game ( that's the comm menu) it will not allow outside rotation of the picture. The answer for me is to F12 the comm (close) menu and all is fine.

Not a problem here Idle detent works fine for me, lift once and engine lites Left and Right. Your, proper key for idle is, Throttle Quadrant Off/Idle, Right throttle is Rshift+Home and left is RAlt+Home . To set them push throttles pass detent and then select correct keybind and slide it back to the off position. It works fine for start up and shutdown.

F 10 Map Working Punchout thanks I did not know there were two check boxes for the F10 map long time since I installed a new module.

Hi ED I'm not able to pull up the F10 map when flying the F 18 C. I went to the keybinds under all to check if F10 was being used by another action and none was seen. I tried in game to use F10 no joy, I tried LCtrl F10 (listed as jump to theater map view over current point) no joy. I tried a different keybind (insert key) and it did not improve the condition. The f 10 map was handy in cutting down pen and paper info, but right now I cannot raise the map. I'm running win 10 and with the Harrier I had no problem displaying F10 Running Ver 2.5.2.18521 DCS is there something I can do to correct this? WeakLink

Revelation, correct me if I am wrong but Alphamale asked what the finger lift on throttles is for I thought they were to prevent the throttles from going to Idle by accident during low power operations not a AB warning guide.

Hi Unknown I checked F10 on "ALL" keybind page and it is the only thing that comes u, is there another way to check? I do use track IR but I use "enter key" for centering track view

Hey guys flying the F 18 and cannot get the F10 map to show up in flight any work arounds or am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

How do I get the updates for the AV 8B? I see several have the moving map but I do not have it as yet. In fact aren't the updates passed out with the DCS updates? Anyway How can I get the Moving Map for the AV8 B Harrier? And why not for the F/C-18 that should arrive soon? Running DCS 2.50 /// ANYBODY???????

your Waypoint/ HUD selection video Your video showing how to connect the waypoint to the HUD was interesting but the second/ wingman kept talking about the Vigen and walked over your demo, In fact since you did not say much in the video at all it was hard to follow. If possible a new video with speech without the wingman talk would really help or print up the procedures and place them in the forum for us handicapped fokes

Here is a question when gear goes up does the lite turn off with assurances it will not start a fire in the wheel well? Do you or should shut the lite off after gear up?

Hi guys new to DCS been flying BMS Falcon, but I 'm wondering how do you read the Comms guide on screen in game at night? Is there a way to change the black font to a color you can read at nite against a night sky? Is this a Harrier problem and just live with it? Or is this carried across all models?
