It's because the whole shadow system was redone to have soft shadows, might be a limitation of the new tech...

I'm sorry didn't wanted to be a jerk when I said that, I kinda forgot that BIGNEWY is just the guy that everyone is complaining to... I gave my feedback let's just wait for next update for hopefully a fix

Yeah, you might be using V-Sync but I really don't like the addition of latency that comes with it, tbh all we ask is a proper fullscreen implementation (even just adding an option for VR/G-SYNC users). I just want them to understand the issue and hopefully listen to the feedback

The thing is, that the game is NOT in fullscreen anymore and broke more stuff than it help just alt+tab, can you maybe do a REAL Fullscreen or bring back the ALT+ENTER ? Since it's not needed for FPS, people who want G-SYNC will use it aswell as VR guys who want real FPS aswell...

For me is that the game is not in fullscreen properly and so it makes G-SYNC not working and make MASSIVE screen tearing, like just removing a thing that doesn't harm anyone makes my experience garbage and I already told BIGNEWY but I feel like I talk to a wall...

Sadly, ED said that they "fixed" the FPS issues with the ALT + ENTER and so don't needed it to have the FPS, but the issue is it's not fixed and it make G-SYNC working not properly for me the last update is almost unplayable !

Wow I didn't knew that Nvidia Inspector do support applying G-Sync per game, Will do while waiting for the return of the ALT ENTER !

From what I spoke with BIGNEWY, the alt enter was removed because they "fixed" the fps issues when not using ALT Enter, but for me it always stay as a windowed...

Yeah, I only managed to tell them that the game is not detected by my Nvidia drivers are fullscreen and so G-Sync wasn't working and I needed to use the Windowed mode to have G-Sync working, but FPS wise I think it's okay ? I don't know for sure tho...

Yeah I can agree since the last update the thing is broken lost 20-30% of my FPS and also G-Sync doesn't work anymore...

The issue is I can't use G-Sync anymore since the game is not in fullscreen but windowed fullscreen, this cause G-Sync to not work aswell as disabling some windows optimisation that help a lot on my side FPS wise (I'm running a 5600X, 32GB RAM, RTX 3080 with a M34WQ Screen)

With those settings can you alt enter and it will force the fullscreen ? Because my only issue is since the last update I can't use ALT Enter and so the game is always in windowed, I use this trick to gain fps and have a more stable DCS since 2017...

Same issue here, and It hold my G-Sync to work and I lost 20-30fps aswell... Kinda broke the utilisation of DCS...

Pretty nice, I don't have any complains rn, Gamma at 2.0 and looks usable at any time of the day, still the issue of the sun that has a big white circle around it sadly...

ED only does that, 3rd doesn't want to be in trial when the plane is broken

I totally agree with you Get_Lo, I hope the devs will fix this too ! Also the heavy sensibility of the stick aswell !

Got 2.0 or 2.2 and looks very nice indeed, use the correct game of your screen, mine is the same of my screen and in game

Also if the plane achieve this speed I don't think the wings will handle that ^^'

The current fix is pretty great tbh

Mostly devs put a Module on Trial when it's stable or finished, so expect it in a few month

I think the same, the stick is too sensible now for me, and the plane wobble too much it's not enjoyable anymore I don't want to fly the module because of how the FM is getting broken...

Tbh I would love to have the Exocet and maybe other weapons to simulate other variant of the F1 since we can't get them all sadly...

I just tried with the A-4E-C mod and Yes ! The bird sound amazingly, I forgot how great it was ! Thanks for the workaround while waiting the fix from the dev !
