  1. Lol no worries. It happens. :megalol:
  2. Strange. Are you using trigger instead of pickle button? Only thing left I can think of.
  3. Our F/A-18C only carried one Mav per pylon. So it is modelled as such.
  4. Master Arm on, AG mode selected, Mav is warmed up, uncaged and station selected?
  5. Sk000ch Heres the link to the full page https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3285514&postcount=13 Im curious about the datalink pod as well. Im assuming for SLAM-ERs for the video feed?
  6. Regarding your question on specifics of A/G Radar modes. Pulled this from the FAQ about official features and weapons to be modelled. Sensors: A/A radar with TWS, SCAN RAID, AZ/EL A/G radar with MAP, EXP1, EXP2, EXP3, SEA, GMT, PVU, AGR, IRA, and TA AN/ASQ-228 ATFLIR Targeting Pod Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) Link-16 AWW-13 Datalink Pod NVGs
  7. I just use the Updater.exe in the dcs folder. Seems easier than a command line.
  8. They should add a simple option that JTAC will give you a target and then another radio menu would open to pick between the weapons your carrying. Doesn't seem like this would be very difficult to code?
  9. Yes that list was pulled directly from the FAQ at the top of the Hornet Threads.
  10. So if you have LMAV selected then hit AA mode you get a look at the FLIR screen. If you then hit Sensor Select Left it makes left DDI priority and you can switch back to AG with FLIR still displayed and you can actually slew the sensor with target designate controls.
  11. I use the TWCS as well. I use the little up and down rocker instead. On the real Hornet the wheel is also spring loaded and returns to center on release IIRC.
  12. On the bright side Red Dead Redemption 2 is out in two days..That should hold me over for say... two weeks?
  13. I understand but when you see nearly no improvements or fixes in 2 months its concerning. Something that atleast sounds as simple as stopping the radar scan bug that not one other module in dcs has and or ever had. And lets be honest most of us that have been fans of the f18 since it was anounced years ago already bought the hornet. ED had the big payday from the majority that where ever going to purchase it. From a business standpoint it makes sense that it isnt prioritized as high afterwards. But i remain hopefull.
  14. Very level headed and well voiced. I also understand its early access before anyone jumps on me. However, I agree that communication from ED has seemed to slow down. And for an EA module to miss out on its bi weekly update is a bit unsettling. Im not even talking about the addition of Mavs or FPAS or JHMCS. Im taking the ever ongoing bugs with the radar.... Not only was hinted content not included, but bug fixes that where marked "fixed" 2 weeks ago have also somehow been pushed back yet again.
  15. Wags stated they are working on approach ATC modes in a video. Big part of implementing ACLS eventually.
  16. Not exactly. Pitch remains the same with throttle movememt but altitude changes. Thats why your aoa stays the same when your on speed. Bit different.
  17. I have a feeling it will be tricky locking things up with only the agm sensor. Wont have the tgp to auto slave the mavs like in the A-10 But atleast its a start.
  18. ED stated they are releasing AGM-65F AND AGM-65E. The F model is similar to a D model in which you can slew the sensor head. No ATFLIR required.
  19. :megalol: I was getting so confused lol
  20. Maybe try a cold start in the editor or create a fast mission and start from ramp. See if its just the actual "cold start" mission. Also just to be clear, you are using the keyboard commands alt home and shift home to get through idle detent correct?
  21. What are the protocols for landing a damaged Hornet onto the carrier? I have seen in videos how they raise up the safety net (which would be awesome if it was modelled in DCS someday?) But what is the general protocol? Do you just perform a CASE-3 recovery with the net up? Or is there something more specific? First clip in this video shows the net I'm talking about. https://youtu.be/9q2LWwX8iFk
  22. Known issue that they have been working on for about 2 weeks ;)
