Heehe fear not virtual deaths :) Sometimes I do depending on what strikes me as entertaining at the time but most of the time I enjoy the flight with a busted ass chopper falling to bits about you. Sometimes you can be amazed with the piece of crap you managed to fly back.

CH fighterstick + Pro Throttle + Pro rudders + TrackIR all the way. Well that be my opinion. I probably recomend more to use the forum search engine, google + some research and then decide what is best for YOU. Crap controllers are one thing, who cares. Good stuff is another and anything half way into quality town costs more then a sneeze so worth the effort to find what suits your budget but more importantly your needs. If you be the average Joe around these parts throwing these into a search engine will help you on your way. CH products. Thrustmaster. Saitek.

Sim mode only because I really enjoy virtually flying this virtual aircraft. Even the AP's take away something for me. I love this FM !

Have you set it up in blackshark? What I mean is that you can set the controls up independently for game mode and sim mode. Do you have collective assigned in sim mode?

There was a thread a little while ago about landing speeds and what speed would be the correct speed. I posted 300+ at the time with tongue firmly in cheek as it was obvious what the poster was asking but what the hell. From my own perspective it is actually pretty much the required speed to do things that were never meant to be but are in fact a lot of fun. Hope you enjoy the ride, I did :thumbup:

They work fine in BS, I have them off 99.9% of the time but coincidentally I had them on 2 nights ago due to an IO (idiot operator) error. The defiantly work.

Hannibal, all the SGU does is modify "older game" config files to work better with it so you don't actually have to have it installed as far as I am aware.
